20.0 - Tanvir to Sammy, FOUR, luck with the brave and inside edges with Sammy. Low full toss swerving into a backed-away Sammy who throws his bat at it, ekes out an inside edge that runs behind without interruptions

17.1 - Tanvir to Afridi, FOUR, full toss veering down, Afridi half-turns and wrists it to the fine leg fence

16.0 - Imad Wasim to K Akmal, FOUR, one bounce over the ropes! Gets on his knee and swings his arms to tonk this ball over Imad Wasim's head. Akmal is swinging just about fine. Did Hafeez share his lunch with him?

14.5 - Bopara to Malan, FOUR, another back of a length slower delivery with width, Akmal stoops a touch and late-cuts it wide of backward point

10.5 - Bopara to K Akmal, FOUR, spanked! Short and wide, Akmal hops and thrashes the upper-cut over a leaping backward point

9.5 - Usama Mir to Tamim, FOUR, googly that goes on with the angle from over the wicket, Tamim makes room and slaps it through backward point

7.2 - Usama Mir to Hafeez, FOUR, that's how you carve out butter for your morning toast. Legbreak turning away, Hafeez protracts his arms and slices it wide of backward point

6.3 - Shakib to Tamim, FOUR, horror ball. Knee-high full toss. Tamim comes down and slams the mediocrity on that with a pull through mid-wicket

5.0 - Shakib to Hafeez, FOUR, another stunner. Uses his feet like you hit your TV remote buttons. Comes down and executes the inside-out lofted drive over extra cover to perfection

3.1 - Tanvir to Tamim, FOUR, that flowed off Tamim's bat. Leaned in with a mammoth front foot stride and bulleted it away through cover

2.4 - Amir to Hafeez, FOUR, just over mid-wicket's reach! Short ball, Hafeez swiveled and pulls it. Dangerously close but in this form, you do ride your luck

2.0 - Imad Wasim to Hafeez, FOUR, the recipe for this ball is here: plonk your front leg forward, get low and sweep the pants off it. Over square leg and into the fences

1.3 - Imad Wasim to Hafeez, FOUR, "Go, fetch the ball bowler!". Puts on his dancing shoes, shimmies out and thumps this flighted ball over Imad Wasim's head

1.2 - Imad Wasim to Hafeez, FOUR, flighted full outside off, he skips out and squeezed it away behind backward point

0.4 - Amir to Hafeez, FOUR,

19.4 - Tanvir to Afridi, SIX, here it is. Fuller length delivery, Afridi stoops a touch and launches this five-and-a-half ounce missile into an orbit straight down the ground

19.2 - Tanvir to Sammy, SIX, reads this slower delivery like a hawk. Rocks back and clouted it over mid-wicket with a bat swing

18.2 - Amir to Sammy, SIX, if Zalmi are the NASA, Sammy is their launcher. Length ball on off, Sammy backs away and tonks it over long-on. Not a chance. Into the crowd

15.4 - Imad Wasim to K Akmal, SIX, that's the shot that makes these balls bleed. Widens his stance to pounce on this shorter delivery and protracts hands to hammer it cross-batted over deep mid-wicket

13.5 - Usama Mir to K Akmal, SIX, Usama Mir could be seen grimacing. He is hurt. Not physically. This ball is on the roof after traveling over his head. Sees Akmal shimmy down and sees him assassinate the ball straight down the ground

10.2 - Bopara to Hafeez, SIX, that's a pie. Slower ball gone as wrong as your teenage years. Full toss. Swings his arms and swung the ball over deep mid-wicket. And shot was so bludgeoning that the ball finds a hole in the roof's vertical extension and sits there. Defying gravity and mocking that ball. "Holed", if I can coin a new term for this shot

6.5 - Shakib to Hafeez, SIX, watch these balls when you want to be scared. Wide full toss outside off, Hafeez chose to go with a straight bat and thumps it over long-off. Sails away

4.3 - Shakib to Hafeez, SIX, ah, shot! Backs away and slams this over the bowler's head as he freed his arms. Nobody moved

17.4 - Tanvir to Malan, out Caught by Imad Wasim!! Tanvir has his redemption but it's like getting a videogame instead of a playstation as your birthday gift. Gets Malan when he could have had Afridi. Anyway, the slower ball has worked. The list of the slow-ball deaths continue. Gets low, slog-sweeps and finds deep mid-wicket who ran across and cupped it inches inside the ropes. Malan c Imad Wasim b Tanvir 12(12) [4s-1]

16.3 - Amir to K Akmal, out Caught by James Vince!! That was the knee-blow. How can you not gobble up a low full toss in this form? Swung his arms and lofted it straight to extra cover where Vince flings himself to his left to palm that. Timed but no elevation there. K Akmal c James Vince b Amir 30(20) [4s-2 6s-2]

12.4 - Bopara to Tamim, out Caught by Simmons!! He goes now. A 35-ball 38 that played the foil to Hafeez stunner. Came down the pitch and lofted this ball while straightening his elbows, didn't get the distance and Simmons ran across from long-off and pouched it with both hands. Tamim c Simmons b Bopara 37(35) [4s-3]

10.3 - Bopara to Hafeez, out Lbw!! Okay, that "hole shot" had made Hafeez so confident that he goes for this ambitious sweep. Stood there and wasn't low to sweep. The slower delivery arrowed in and hit his back leg. HawkEye shows that it was missing leg. Only a wrong decision looked like sending this man back. Clap-clap for that innings. Hafeez lbw b Bopara 59(35) [4s-7 6s-3]

8.4 - Bopara to Hafeez, 1 run, biguls celebrate Hafeez's half-century! Shortish ball, Hafeez pulls it off the front foot for a single to deep mid-wicket

6.2 - Shakib to Tamim, 2 runs, the partnership of 50 has been celebrated by a mediocre leg-side delivery that's tickled to fine leg

18.0 - Tait to Bopara, FOUR, make that 26 off the over. Tait had a nightmare with the ball. By the way, the edges are flying today - Only to find the boundary ropes, on a length and around leg-stump, Bopara makes room and throws the kitchen sink at it - Only a trailin plug of it making contact, inside edge past leg-stump and keeper, finds the fine leg fence

17.5 - Tait to Bopara, FOUR, that's the way to do it against fast bowlers. Just use the pace and massage it through the gap. Bopara has just executed that trick to perfection. Full and wide, Bopara sinks low and opens the bat face to steer it past backward point

17.4 - Tait to Bopara, no ball, FOUR, Tait has overstepped! Free-hit time again... Full delivery angling down leg, Bopara flicks and inside edge flies between his legs, beats the fielder at backward square

17.1 - Tait to Tanvir, FOUR, that's what Tait's pace can do. It can get you wickets and also leak runs. Oh! You really have to feel for the bowlers. This was banged in short and got big on Tanvir who was trying to hook, a thick top-edge and it flies over the keeper, raced away in a hurry

16.0 - Aamer Yamin to Tanvir, FOUR, short and ample width on offer, Tanvir clears his front leg and mows it through mid-wicket, scorched off the surface, there's no stopping that!

15.1 - Aamer Yamin to Bopara, FOUR, that's a candyfloss, full toss pleading to be put away - Bopara obliges as he smacks this wide of long-on, the fielder had no chance there

14.1 - Tait to Bopara, FOUR, full delivery on the pads, Bopara gets some pad on the tickle and it races away beating Kamran's dive to his left

13.2 - Riaz to James Vince, FOUR, length outside off, Vince backs away and slashes the flat-bat loft over mid-off, the fielder from long-off makes a desperate dive to save the boundary - A sprint and a dive but the ball wins the race

12.4 - Afridi to James Vince, FOUR, short and wide, Vince sits deep inside the crease and bludgeons the drive past cover

12.0 - Aamer Yamin to James Vince, FOUR, full and wide, Vince backs away and manufactures some room to slice the cut over point, couple of bounces and into the fence

11.0 - Afridi to James Vince, FOUR, full and wide, Vince leans on his back leg and crunches the flat-bat drive past cover

5.5 - Asghar to James Vince, FOUR, short and wide, James Vince makes room and dabs this late behind point

3.5 - Tait to Nauman Anwar, FOUR, poor delivery, short and begging to be hit, down leg - Anwar helps it on its way with a whip behind square on the leg-side

2.4 - Aamer Yamin to Simmons, FOUR, stays still and lets the ball come in this time - That's the way to do it Simmo! Full and in his swinging arc, Simmons clobbers the drive past cover, the fielders were just bystanders there

2.1 - Aamer Yamin to Nauman Anwar, FOUR, full and width on offer, Anwar bends his front knee and thrashes it through cover, raced away

1.2 - Tait to Nauman Anwar, FOUR, half-volley on off-stump and Anwar swats it out of his sight, over mid-wicket for a one-bounce four, he was also helped by Tait's aggressive pace there

19.1 - Sammy to Bopara, SIX, Ravi Bopara - You beauty! Whatttay shot that is. Nonchalant stuff from the Englishman. Waits for this length delivery and dismisses it out of his sight, smashed it over the deep extra cover fence, that's outta here

18.5 - Riaz to Tanvir, SIX, "That will make up for the two dot balls" yelps Tom Moody on air. Totally agreed. Full delivery in the bashing zone for Tanvir, he clears his front leg and clubs this over the cow-corner fence

17.3 - Tait to Bopara, SIX, shot! It's the shot of the match for me. Waits deep inside the crease for this full delivery and smites it inside out over extra cover, that travelled the distance too

16.2 - Riaz to Bopara, SIX, fetch that! 100th six of the tournament. Full and in the slot, Bopara stays solid at the crease and launches it straight over the bowler's head, that's going towards the moon - Someone send it back please!

15.4 - Aamer Yamin to Tanvir, SIX, see you tomorrow! Full toss on the stumps, Tanvir whacks it and sends it into the deep mid-wicket stands, a catch dropped in the crowd too

12.1 - Afridi to Bopara, SIX, tonked! Tossed up around off, Bopara drops to one knee and wallops a flat six over wide long-on

9.2 - Asghar to James Vince, SIX, just over a leaping fielder! Vince shimmies down the track and smokes this flatter delivery over wide long-off, the fielder made a commendable effort to get there and time the jump but the power on the shot took it over the fence

6.3 - Afridi to Shoaib Malik, SIX, shortish and wide, Shoaib Malik dances down the pitch and deposits it over the wide long-off fence

19.5 - Sammy to Saifullah Bangash, out Usama Mir Run Out!! Crikey! This T20 cricket can give you heart-attacks. What a game and look at those tensed faces in the dug-out. Coming to the dismissal: It was a length delivery outside off, might be the slower one. Bangash swings and misses, Usama Mir calls him through to nab a bye and Kamran Akmal clatters the stumps with an accurate throw. Mir wasn't even in the picture. Usama Mir run out (K Akmal) 1(1)

19.3 - Sammy to Bopara, out Caught by S Yousuf!! And he's gone! Is this the game for Peshawar Zalmi? Full toss on the stumps, Bopara walks forward and lofts it straight down the throat of long-on. Bopara c S Yousuf b Sammy 67(33) [4s-5 6s-4]

19.0 - Riaz to Tanvir, out Bowled!! He's knocked 'em over. Just a glare and then turns his back. It was so pacy, the ball actually hit the base of leg-stump and crashed into the fine leg fence. Yes it was really, really pacy stuff. Full and aiming the base of leg-stump - Too good for Tanvir who fails to lay bat on ball. Looks to smack that through the leg-side but was beaten neck and crop - for pace. Tanvir b Riaz 23(17) [4s-2 6s-2]

14.3 - Tait to James Vince, out Bowled!! C-A-S-T-L-E-D. Beaten for pace. Such a pleasing sight when a fast bowler knocks the stumps over - with raw pace I meant. Very full at 142ks and Vince couldn't get underneath it. Makes room slightly and ends up playing all around it. His stumps are all over the place as Tait pumps his fist in joy. James Vince b Tait 44(28) [4s-5 6s-1]

8.5 - Afridi to Shakib, out Caught by Asghar!! Karachi Kings are in deep trouble now, half their side is back in the hutch. This was flatter and sliding in with the arm, the overspinner indeed. Shakib was trying to flick it towards mid-wicket - Was a tad early in doing so. Gets a thick leading edge which flies to Ashgar at backward point who dives forward and takes a tumbling catch. Shakib c Asghar b Afridi 1(4)

7.5 - Asghar to Shoaib Malik, out Caught by Sammy at !! Asghar strikes again. Sees Malik advancing and fires it full on the pads, Malik gets too close to the pitch of the delivery and as a result he mistimes the loft - Ends up skewing it off the toe-end and Sammy at long-on had the easiest of catches to take. Ran forward and clasped it with both hands - Made it look so easy. Shoaib Malik c Sammy b Asghar 8(7) [6s-1]

5.3 - Asghar to Imad Wasim, out Imad Wasim Run Out!! Mindless cricket from Imad Wasim. He flicked this to deep mid-wicket and was way too casual in his running. He was just jogging to the other end in fact. The throw came in quickly and Imad Wasim still fails to show any urgency. Ashgar dislodges the ball realising that Wasim was too lazy in his approach. He was caught short by a few inches. He only had himself to blame there. Imad Wasim run out (S Yousuf/M Asghar) 0(2)

5.1 - Asghar to James Vince, out Nauman Anwar Run Out!! This was a shortish delivery just outside off, Vince cuts it to point and rushes through for a quick single. Nauman Anwar was a bit slow to take off and he was caught short by an brilliant direct hit from Yousuf. Nauman Anwar run out (S Yousuf) 14(16) [4s-3]

4.1 - Riaz to Simmons, out Bowled!! Wahab Riaz - You little ripper. This man can bowl and bowl. Bang on target first ball, he doesn't need any sighters, does he? Delivers a 140ks good length on middle stump and Simmons plays all around it. Made room but failed to cope with the pace, the length troubled him too. Simmons misses and his middle stump takes the beating. Simmons b Riaz 9(12) [4s-1]

17.4 - Tait to Bopara, 2 runs, full and outside off, Bopara looks to drive hard, gets it off the inside half towards mid-wicket, brings up Bopara's fifty
