Good length delivery and on the stumps, Malik drives it uppishly in the air towards mid-on, who moved forward but could not snaffle it. It goes through his hands and runs away to the long-on fence. McCullum, known for his athletic fielding though, did not give up as he hunted it down and put in the slide, but on replays it was clear that he had touched the rope, when he tried to flick the ball back into play

21.0 - Santner to Babar Azam, FOUR, from over the wicket, Santner bowls a flatter delivery, Azam cracks the drive all along the turf. The fielder at mid-off misfields and as a result, Azam picks up another boundary. With it, he also posts a quick-fire fifty

15.4 - Milne to Babar Azam, FOUR, good connection from Azam. Good length delivery and zooming in on the stumps. Azam plants his front foot and lifts it through the line and straight down the ground for a boundary. His head was still when he played that shot

10.4 - Corey Anderson to Hafeez, FOUR, with a concotion of timing and placement, Hafeez essays the straight drive to a fuller length delivery that is bowled on the stumps. The fielder at mid-on tried to hunt it down, but he had no chance in stopping that boundary

10.2 - Corey Anderson to Babar Azam, FOUR, good improvisation from Azam. He shuffles across and heaves this length delivery to the deep mid-wicket boundary. It rocketed to the fence in a jiffy

8.5 - Boult to Babar Azam, FOUR, McCullum does not seem like he has come back from an injury. Azam traces the line through the cover-region with his drive. McCullum from mid-off looks to hunt it down. He even puts in the dive, but to no avail

8.4 - Boult to Babar Azam, FOUR, good length delivery and outside off, Azam aims to slap it over the infield on the off-side and ekes out an outside edge that flies past a leaping Anderson at first slip for a boundary to third man

6.2 - Boult to Hafeez, FOUR, oops! The first slip fielder, Corey Anderson, came close to pouching a fine catch there. Hafeez is lucky. From round the wicket, Boult lands it on a good length and it angles away from the right-hander, Hafeez tries to steer it past Anderson, who dives full length and almost gets his right-hand on it. However, it flies past him and runs away to the third man fence

20.5 - Santner to Babar Azam, SIX, yet again, Azam uses his feet and lofts this delivery that is bowled slower through the air over long-on for a maximum. Pakistan have made a splendid recovery

20.1 - Santner to Hafeez, SIX, Hafeez continues to play with a dash of bravado. He uses his feet, makes room and lifts this tossed up delivery over long-off for a six

19.3 - Milne to Hafeez, SIX, 152ks, but Hafeez takes Milne on by pulling a short delivery over mid-wicket for a maximum. Now, that stroke came right off the screws

18.3 - Elliott to Hafeez, SIX, Hafeez notches up his 28th fifty. He reaches his fifty in style as well. Length delivery and on the stumps, Hafeez ventures out of the crease and lifts it over the long-on boundary. It easily cleared the boundary rope

12.3 - Santner to Hafeez, SIX, I do not think, Hafeez got hold of that shot, but it sails into the stands. Tossed up delivery and on the stumps, Hafeez dances down the track and lifts it over the long-off fence for a maximum

47.3 - Milne to Sarfraz, out Caught by Ronchi!! Sarfraz's fine effort comes to an end. He backed away slightly and looked to pull, Milne though followed him with a well-directed short delivery. It hit him high up on the bat. Ronchi, the keeper, made no mistake by taking the skier. Milne's late burst has made sure that New Zealand won't chase down a target in excess of 300. Sarfraz c Ronchi b Milne 41(50) [4s-5]

45.5 - Milne to Rahat Ali, out Caught by Ronchi!! Searing pace can always turn out to be useful against the tail-enders. Back of a length delivery that straightens a wee bit, Rahat is caught in the crease and has a flirty poke at it. Easy catch for the keeper. Pakistan would like to play out the 50 overs. Rahat Ali c Ronchi b Milne 0(2)

45.3 - Milne to Amir, out Caught by Ronchi!! Milne picks up his first scalp of the innings. Amir backed away and looked to manufacture room. However, Milne followed him with a back of a length delivery, Amir could only eke out an inside edge and the keeper clasped it with both hands. Amir c Ronchi b Milne 1(3)

44.2 - Corey Anderson to Riaz, out Caught by Guptill!!Finally, the frustration of not scoring runs has resulted in Riaz being chugged down. Riaz moved away from the line and tried to flat-bat it over mid-wicket. He though, could not get it off the middle of the bat. The ball swirls in the air for a while. Guptill at mid-wicket sets under it, and grabs the catch. Riaz c Guptill b Corey Anderson 11(15) [4s-2]

38.4 - Elliott to Sarfraz, out Rizwan Run Out!! What an unfortunate way to get out for Rizwan! Sarfraz flat-batted a short of a length delivery back towards Elliott, who got his right-hand onto the ball and deflected it onto the stumps. Rizwan did try to slide his bat in, but he still found himself out of the crease. Easy decision for the TV umpire to make. Rizwan run out (Elliott) 16(18) [4s-1]

33.4 - Matt Henry to Babar Azam, out Caught by Guptill!! Azam again looks to use the cut shot, but hits it straight to Guptill at backward point and Guptill snaffles it gleefully with both hands. He has given the platform for Pakistan to compose a mammoth total. Babar Azam c Guptill b Matt Henry 83(77) [4s-10 6s-1]

31.1 - Boult to Shoaib Malik, out Caught by Ronchi!! Malik will be a despondent man as he gets out to a soft dismissal. Short and wide delivery, Malik tries to cut and gets an edge to the keeper, who hardly had to move to grab it. Timely wicket for New Zealand as they were under the pump, with the duo of Malik and Azam finding gaps with ease. Shoaib Malik c Ronchi b Boult 32(27) [4s-3 6s-1]

23.0 - Santner to Hafeez, out Caught by Milne!! New Zealand eventually dismiss the key man in the opposition camp - Hafeez. Hafeez, on expected lines, is disappointed. He looked set to get a big one on what is a good wicket for a batting. Coming back to the wicket, Hafeez swept a tossed up delivery, but got a top-edge. Milne at fine leg, pouched the catch with both hands. Hafeez c Milne b Santner 76(60) [4s-5 6s-5]

5.1 - Matt Henry to Azhar Ali, out Caught by Guptill!! Pakistan are in a spot of bother now. Henry follows up Boult's effort, by sending Ali back to the hut. Good length delivery and in that probing zone outside off, Ali tries to drive with his feet stationed in clay and eked out an outside edge. Guptill at second slip took a relatively easy catch with both his hands. It might have also straightened a wee bit after pitching. Azhar Ali c Guptill b Matt Henry 3(14)

4.5 - Boult to Ahmed Shehzad, out Caught by Guptill!! The first incision has been made. It is Shehzad who has been chugged down. He did everything right there by playing the pull shot, but Guptill at short mid-wicket plucked a brilliant catch. From round the wicket, Boult used the bumper and he got good shoulder on it, too. Shehzad rocked back and pulled it in front of square on the on-side. He even rolled his wrists on that stroke. However, Guptill at short mid-wicket showed sharp reflexes and took the catch at shin height. Ahmed Shehzad c Guptill b Boult 12(16) [4s-2]

40.0 - Matt Henry to Sarfraz, 1 run, another run-out chance missed! Sarfraz ekes out an inside edge on his drive to Boult at mid-on, who fired in the throw at the non-striker's end, but he too missed. Sarfraz was a goner there, if Boult had effected the direct-hit
