Afghanistan and Ireland have become the 11th and 12th Full Members and have been given Test status. 

They have now become Test-playing nations, which marks a historic day. 

Their boards had applied to the ICC to have their status upgraded from Associates to Full Members. 

When this was put to vote at an ICC meeting, it was unanimously supported.
