Due to some technical problems, we are unable to cover live matches on our site and app. We are working on it and will be back soon. Please stay tuned for more.

108.4 - Riaz to Pradeep, FOUR, Pradeep doesn't want to block and survive, he wants to take Riaz on. Banged in halfway down the wicket, Pradeep moves away to the leg-side and whacks it over mid-wicket. Riaz is not impressed by that

101.2 - Yasir Shah to Kaushal Silva, FOUR, cracking shot, Silva comes down the track, gets to the pitch of the ball and drives it square past extra cover, the timing is sublime and the ball races away to the fence

95.1 - Yasir Shah to Dilruwan Perera, FOUR, gentle loosener from Yasir, drops this one short and well outside off, Perera makes room and cracks it square on the off-side, beats point and races away to the fence

93.3 - Hafeez to Dilruwan Perera, FOUR, lovely shot, Perera shimmies down the track to a well flighted delivery, gets to the pitch of the ball, plays it with the spin and lofts it over mid-on for a boundary

92.2 - Riaz to Dilruwan Perera, FOUR, that's easy pickings for Perera, leg-stump half-volley from Riaz, Perera leans forward and clips it in front of square on the on-side. Babar gives the chase, but it's in vain

88.4 - Babar to Kaushal Silva, FOUR, Silva gets to his second Test hundred in style! It was tossed up and outside off, Silva uses his feet, takes it on the full and leans into the drive to collects a boundary through extra-cover. Silva has twinned caution with aggresion during this knock. Impressive batting! He takes his helmet off and raises the bat to the dressing room and the crowd

88.0 - Junaid Khan to Kithuruwan Vithanage, FOUR, fuller length from Junaid, Vithanage leans forward and drives it through deep extra cover for a boundary

87.3 - Junaid Khan to Kithuruwan Vithanage, FOUR, fuller and swung back in from Junaid, Vithanage nicely times it through mid-on for a boundary. Superb placement too. He played a flick shot in that occasion

79.0 - Babar to Chandimal, FOUR, once again Babar drops it short, Chandimal goes back, also gives himself a bit of room, cuts well and beats the man at backward point, who was diving to his right

78.1 - Babar to Chandimal, FOUR, swept in the air and it bounces just inside the rope at deep backward square leg. Flighted delivery on the stumps, Chandimal gets across the sticks, employs the sweep, not from the middle of the bat but he got enough wood on it

76.2 - Babar to Chandimal, FOUR, not convincing but effective. Nicley floated up just outside off stump, Chandimal was initially looking for the sweep shot, but changed his mind and hit uppishly wide of mid-on for four

76.0 - Yasir Shah to Kaushal Silva, FOUR, flighted delivery on the leg stump, Kaushal Silva leans forward and flicks very well, sends it wide of mid-on

75.2 - Yasir Shah to Kaushal Silva, FOUR, down the track, to the pitch of the ball and he goes over the top to get a boundary. This was flighted well by Yasir Shah, but Silva played a lovely looking lofted drive back over the bowler's head

73.0 - Riaz to Chandimal, FOUR, overpitched outside off stump, Chandimal leans forward and drives it through point

63.3 - Yasir Shah to Mathews, FOUR, fuller and just outside off, Mathews goes with the drive with hardly any feet, Babar at mid-off ran across but couldn't get anywhere near to it, he could have done better, the ball rolls away to the deep extra cover fence

59.3 - Babar to Kaushal Silva, FOUR, flatter and just outside off, Silva leans forward and drives it through the line, the ball hurries across to the deep extra cover fence, Silva looks like a class act

58.5 - Junaid Khan to Kaushal Silva, FOUR, another sumptuous cover-drive from Silva - this time on the rise. He just leans into the drive to find the gap through cover and collect a boundary. Again superb balance on show

49.4 - Riaz to Thirimanne, FOUR, Thirimanne gets off the mark with a boundary. It was a full delivery and attacking on the stumps, Thirimanne drives it through mid-wicket for a boundary.

48.5 - Yasir Shah to Kaushal Silva, FOUR, short and wide again, but this time Silva cuts it wide of cover, superb timing and power in that shot

45.0 - Yasir Shah to Kaushal Silva, FOUR, short and Silva had enough width to pull, Silva rocks on the back foot and pulls it over mid-wicket, good timing and power involved, the ball raced away to the mid-wicket fence

37.4 - Hafeez to Sangakkara, FOUR, brilliant stuff from Sanga, tossed up and on middle and off, Sangakkara comes down the track and lofts it over mid-off, one bounce and into the long-off fence

33.0 - Yasir Shah to Kaushal Silva, FOUR, short and wide, what else does a batsman need to pounce on such a poor delivery, Silva stays on the back foot and cuts it handsomely through cover, good looking shot that

31.4 - Babar to Kaushal Silva, FOUR, short and not a troubling line, Silva pulls it over mid-wicket with superb timing and power

27.1 - Babar to Kaushal Silva, FOUR, short and wide, Silva stays on the back foot and cuts it in front of square on the off-side, good timing on that occasion

25.1 - Babar to Kaushal Silva, FOUR, tossed up on middle and off, Silva comes down the track and goes through with the loft, the ball evades a leaping mid-on, that wasn't too far away from him though

18.3 - Riaz to Kaushal Silva, FOUR, Riaz offers width and Silva takes a heavy toll of it by cutting it through backward point for a boundary. The fielder at point dived, but couldn't stop it as it was hit with too much power

16.4 - Riaz to Kaushal Silva, FOUR, short and gets the deserved treatment, Silva goes for the pull and connects it well, the ball rolls to the deep square leg fence, it eventually touched the rope after travelling so slowly

16.1 - Riaz to Kaushal Silva, FOUR, poor ball first up from Riaz, pacy and on a back of a length, sliding down the leg, Silva looks to tickle it fine, he gets a glove and the ball rolls away to the fine leg fence

12.5 - Riaz to Sangakkara, leg byes, FOUR, another short delivery from Riaz, Sangakkara looks to duck under it, it hit his right shoulder and runs for four leg-byes through third man. That short ball surprised Sanga who took his eyes off it. Beaten for pace there

12.3 - Riaz to Sangakkara, FOUR, Sangakkara off the mark with a boundary. Fuller and attacking the stumps, Sangakkara drives it through mid-on, Junaid at mid-on came across and slid but allowed the ball to go through his grasp and it runs away to the boundary. Riaz looks disappointed with that effort

7.2 - Riaz to Kaushal Silva, FOUR, that's a pleasing sight, full and had enough width to punch-drive it off the front foot, he gets into perfect balance as he leans into the drive, gets a four through cover

3.1 - Riaz to D Karunaratne, FOUR, nice classy back foot punch from Karunaratne, back of a length and wide of off, Karunaratne stands tall and punches it past backward point

65.5 - Yasir Shah to Mathews, SIX, that's one way to release pressure, this was tossed up invitingly by Yasir, Mathews gets a big stride forward, gets to the pitch of the ball and lifts it high and over long-on for a maximum

19.2 - Babar to Sangakkara, SIX, you can't keep Sanga calm for a long time, tossed up and outside off, Sangakkara advances and lofts it high and over long-off, legendary stuff from the veteran

109.3 - Yasir Shah to Pradeep, out Caught&Bowled!! That's it! Pakistan have bowled out Sri Lanka for exact 300. Nicely tossed up delivery, Pradeep's eyes lit up seeing the flight, he goes down on his knee and looks to slog it towards cow corner, gets a top-edge straight up, Yasir settles under it and takes it calmly. Pradeep c and b Yasir Shah 4(25) [4s-1]

104.3 - Babar to Kaushal Silva, out Caught by Sarfraz Ahmed!! An unlucky way to get out. Silva gets a standing ovation as he makes the slow walk back to the pavilion. Flighted on middle and leg, Silva goes down on his knee and misses the sweep, ball hits the pad, then deflects off the back of the bat, Sarfraz takes a dolly behind the stumps. Silva couldn't believe what happened. However, Pakistanis won't mind it one bit. Kaushal Silva c Sarfraz Ahmed b Babar 125(300) [4s-16]

103.0 - Babar to Dhammika, out Lbw!! That looked adjacent and Prasad has been given here. He wants a review, but this looks pretty plumb. This was pushed through by Babar, Prasad went back in his crease as he looked to nudge it towards the on-side, ends up playing right across the line, misses and is trapped in front of middle. Hawk Eye shows that the ball was going on to hit the top of middle. Umpire Illingworth has been vindicated and it stays as OUT. A strange little innings from Prasad, he was happy to block everything, he now falls for a 23-ball 0. Dhammika lbw b Babar 0(23)

95.2 - Yasir Shah to Dilruwan Perera, out Caught by Sarfraz Ahmed!! Sharp turn for Yasir and he gets his first wicket! This was a lovely leg-break, tossed up outside off and spun away, drew Perera into the forward defence, he doesn't get behind the line, the ball spins more than what he accounted for, the outside edge is found. Sarfraz is quick to move across to his right and holds onto the offering. Sri Lanka have lost an early wicket, right after resumption. Dilruwan Perera c Sarfraz Ahmed b Yasir Shah 15(18) [4s-3]

91.2 - Hafeez to Kithuruwan Vithanage, out Caught&Bowled!! That's a soft dismissal for Vithanage! Hafeez has accounted for yet another left-hander, this one was given plenty of air, Vithanage came down the track, he was looking to take it on the full, the ball dipped onto him and he ends up scooping a dolly back to the bowler. Hafeez moves across to his left and accepts the offering. Pakistan have opened up Sri Lanka's tail now. Kithuruwan Vithanage c and b Hafeez 18(21) [4s-2]

84.5 - Babar to Chandimal, out Bowled!! Babar has struck for Pakistan. It was an arm ball from Babar, Chandimal didn't read it, tries to cut, misses and it crashes into the stumps. Chandimal was never reading the sliders from Babar and this one wasn't there to cut as there was no room to work with. Chandimal b Babar 23(59) [4s-4]

68.3 - Riaz to Mathews, out Bowled!! Riaz continues to impress as he has cleaned up Mathews. Good length and swinging back in, Mathews presses half forward to push, but gets an inside edge onto the off-stump. Mathews paid the price for getting caught in the crease and leaving a gap between bat and pad. Mathews b Riaz 19(40) [4s-1 6s-1]

55.5 - Hafeez to Thirimanne, out Caught by Babar!! Thirimanne gets out to a loose shot and he will be a disappointed man. Tossed up and on the stumps, Thirimanne uses his feet and lofts it straight to the man at mid-on, who completes the catch. A lapse in concentration has cost Thirimanne his wicket. With that wicket of Thirimanne, Hafeez now has 50 wickets. Thirimanne c Babar b Hafeez 8(17) [4s-1]

49.3 - Riaz to Sangakkara, out Caught by Younis Khan!! Riaz has taken the crucial wicket of Sangakkara! It was a tad fuller and just outside off, Sangakkara had to play at it, tries to drive, but plays away from the body, gets a thick outside edge and Younis Khan at first slip completes the catch. Superb piece of bowling from Riaz. The umpire checked for the no-ball, but some part of his heel was behind the line. Sangakkara c Younis Khan b Riaz 50(106) [4s-2 6s-1]

12.2 - Riaz to D Karunaratne, out Caught by Sarfraz Ahmed!! Finally Riaz has struck for Pakistan. It was a short delivery, Karunaratne tries to pull, gets an inside edge and the wicketkeeper takes an easy catch. The extra pace from Riaz did the trick there. The umpire put his finger up in a flash and the batsman walked. D Karunaratne c Sarfraz Ahmed b Riaz 21(42) [4s-1]

108.1 - Riaz to Herath, 1 run, dropped! But it was a tough chance and one that needs to stick. Full and tailing into the batsman, Herath goes for the hoick, drags it off the inner part to short leg, Shehzad was taking evasive action, he took his eyes off the ball, gets hit on the shin and the ball rolls towards mid-wicket

87.4 - Junaid Khan to Kithuruwan Vithanage, 2 runs, dropped! drags his length shorter, Vithanage tries to drive on the up, gets a thick outside edge, the fielder at second slip tried to take a catch above his head after diving to his left, got both hands to it, but misses

36.2 - Yasir Shah to Sangakkara, no run, a difficult catch dropped by Azhar Ali at FSL, flighted delivery on middle and off, Sangakkara takes a step forward and looks to clip it fine, Azhar was anticipating the shot and moved to his right, got both hands to it and it didn't stick. Sanga was a long way down the track too, had Azhar got the ball he could've run the batsman out too

105.4 - Yasir Shah to Pradeep, no run, it was floated up on off, was too full, Pradeep plants his front foot forward, misses the defence and is struck low on the pads, umpire Reiffel raised the finger, but Sri Lanka had a review and they used it. It was a good use as the ball was spinning a bit too much

104.1 - Babar to Herath, no run, tossed up on the stumps, Herath kneels down and goes for the reverse sweep, he missed and was struck on the stomach. Pakistan thought for a while before Misbah asked for the review. The ball was hitting the stumps, but it had pitched outside leg, hence couldn't be given

72.4 - Riaz to Chandimal, no run, full and outside off, Chandimal tried to play the drive and misses. Pakistan went up for the review though Riaz wasn't convinced about it. The replays showed there was a clear gap between bat and ball. There was a sound as the ball passed the bat, but it was bat hitting the ground

48.3 - Yasir Shah to Sangakkara, 1 run, 52nd fifty and 12th against Pakistan for Sanga, what a legend of the game, he gets there with a clip to fine leg

46.4 - Yasir Shah to Sangakkara, 1 run, flatter and on middle and leg, Sangakkara works it to the left of diving FSL and gets across to the other end, that brings up the 100-run stand between these two as well

38.2 - Yasir Shah to Kaushal Silva, 2 runs, that will be fifty for Silva, well played especially after being dropped on 6, flighted delivery on off, Silva advances and drives it through cover

110.0 - Dilruwan Perera to Junaid Khan, FOUR, gives this one more air outside off, Junaid kneels down and connects well with the reverse sweep, gets a four in front of square on the off-side, handy runs these for Pakistan

100.0 - Dilruwan Perera to Shafiq, FOUR, nicely played by Shafiq, this was tossed up and on the stumps, Shafiq gets down on his knees, reverses his stance, rolls his wrists and reverse sweeps it very fine, third boundary of the over. All of a sudden, the lead is already worth 80 runs

99.3 - Dilruwan Perera to Babar, FOUR, this is even better, this was dropped short and just outside off, Babar makes room and cracks it square past point, no one in the deep and the ball races away to the fence

99.1 - Dilruwan Perera to Babar, FOUR, lovely shot, this was tossed up and went with the angle, Babar gets a good stride forward, plays it with the spin and goes inside out over extra cover for a boundary

97.0 - Dhammika to Babar, FOUR, nicely played by Babar, this was short and just outside off, Babar was backing away, gets behind the line and lifts it over backward point, the timing is sublime and the ball races away to the fence

96.5 - Dhammika to Babar, FOUR, Babar is making merry here, another short ball from Prasad, no pace behind it, Babar backs away and clubs it over wide mid-on, a couple of bounces and the ball rolls away to the fence

95.4 - Dilruwan Perera to Shafiq, FOUR, 7th Test ton for Shafiq, this has been a valuable knock indeed, gets a hand shake from his partner, the balcony is clapping as well. A much needed century for Pakistan after their early troubles. Coming to the ball, Shafiq charged down the track, got to the pitch of the ball and lofted it back over the bowler's head

90.1 - Pradeep to Babar, FOUR, top-edge and four, Pradeep banged this one short and on the stumps, Babar backs away, is in no position to play the pull, goes through with the shot and gets a top-edge over the keeper, handy runs for Pakistan

89.4 - Herath to Babar, FOUR, lovely shot, excellent use of the feet from Babar, comes down the track, gets to the pitch of the ball and goes back over the bowler's head, no need to run for those

86.3 - Pradeep to Yasir Shah, FOUR, it could have easily clattered into the stumps. Pakistan now get the lead, back of a length just outside off, Shah looks to force it through the off-side, the inside-edge rolls past the leg-stump and runs away to the fine leg fence

84.4 - Dhammika to Yasir Shah, FOUR, bouncer on middle and leg, Shah rocks back and hooks it to the deep square leg fence

84.3 - Dhammika to Yasir Shah, FOUR, full and wide from Prasad, Shah goes hard on the cut as he collects a four behind square on the off-side

83.5 - Dilruwan Perera to Yasir Shah, FOUR, floated well wide of off, Shah throws his arms as he essays a beautiful cover drive, Pakistan are inching closer to the 300-run mark

71.4 - Dhammika to Shafiq, FOUR, fuller and just outside off, Shafiq wanted to punch it through the off-side, the ball takes the inside part and races past Riaz, mid-on gives chase in vain. The timing on that was superb as it hurried across the turf

70.1 - Herath to Riaz, FOUR, tossed up outside off, Riaz's eyes lit up as soon as he saw the width on that, he comes forward and drives it through cover-point, though he didn't middle it, had enough to collect his first four

63.5 - Kithuruwan Vithanage to Sarfraz Ahmed, FOUR, another rubbish dished out, long hop outside off, Sarfraz fetches it from there and pulls, he bisects deep mid-wicket and long-on to perfection. He also moves into the 90s

59.4 - Kithuruwan Vithanage to Sarfraz Ahmed, FOUR, another teaser for Herath, the spinner doesn't bother to dive and allows the ball to roll into the fence. Vithanage bowls it short, Sarfraz moves across and dabs it wide of slip, the ball had enough to reach the rope

58.2 - Herath to Shafiq, FOUR, some of the positive attitude from Sarfraz is rubbing off on Shafiq as well, Shafiq kneels down and sweeps the flighted delivery in front of square, no one in the deep and thats four more

58.0 - Dilruwan Perera to Sarfraz Ahmed, FOUR, even with the field spread wide, Sarfraz is able to collect boundaries. Flighted on off and middle, he kneels down and reverse sweeps it fine, the fielder was square and had no chance of stopping that. The 100-run partnership also comes up

52.1 - Pradeep to Sarfraz Ahmed, FOUR, lovely shot, this was full and angled across the right-hander, Sarfraz gets half-a-stride forward, meets the ball on top of the bounce, closes the face and clips it past mid-on for a boundary

44.4 - Dhammika to Sarfraz Ahmed, FOUR, poor effort from Perera at backward square leg, this was banged in short and on the stumps, Sarfraz swivels across, rolls his wrists and pulls it behind square on the on-side. Perea lumbers across, puts in the slider and allows the ball to sneak past him, Sarfraz is off and running today

43.3 - Herath to Sarfraz Ahmed, FOUR, lovely shot, this was tossed up on off, Sarfraz comes down the track, makes room as he did so, opens up the gap through extra cover, the ball rolls away to the fence in a hurry

34.4 - Pradeep to Sarfraz Ahmed, FOUR, off the mark in style. Full and on the leg stump, Sarfraz flicks it along the ground through mid-wicket and it runs away for four

6.4 - Dhammika to Younis Khan, FOUR, Younis shows great timing to collect a boundary. It was full and attacking the stumps, Younis stays in the crease and drives it straight down the ground and it runs away to the fence

1.3 - Pradeep to Ahmed Shehzad, FOUR, fuller and just outside off, Shehzad reaches for it and drives it uppishly through cover-point for a boundary

102.0 - Dilruwan Perera to Babar, SIX, maiden fifty for Babar, first time a Pakistan number ten has scored a Test fifty since the last 15 years. He is chuffed to bits, raises both arms in delight and gets a warm hug from his partner. The dressing room are delighted as well, coming to the shot, he shimmied down the track, got to the pitch of the ball and lifts it high and over long-on for a massive six

91.4 - Herath to Babar, SIX, cracking shot, this was tossed up invitingly by Herath, Babar gets half a stride forward, goes inside out on the lofted drive and clears the wide long-off fence with ease. Why is he being shielded by Shafiq?

113.1 - Dilruwan Perera to Shafiq, out Stumped!! And finally Sri Lanka get their last wicket. Shafiq threw it away rather than Sri Lanka earning the wicket, it was tossed up nicely outside off, Shafiq steps out and doesn't read the spin, misses it completely, Chandimal waits for the batsman to look back as he flicks the bails, Sri Lanka are relieved more than anything else, good fighting knock from Shafiq. Shafiq st Chandimal b Dilruwan Perera 131(253) [4s-5]

106.0 - Dilruwan Perera to Babar, out Caught by Kithuruwan Vithanage!! Babar departs after playing a crucial kncok, this could well prove to be the difference between the two sides, this was flighted outside off and tempting the batsman to have a go, Babar skips out and miscues the loft, Vithanage at long-off settles under it and accepts it gleefully, Babar got it off the toe-end of the bat. Babar c Kithuruwan Vithanage b Dilruwan Perera 56(60) [4s-6 6s-2]

86.4 - Pradeep to Yasir Shah, out Caught by Chandimal!! Yes! He did make a difference. Sri Lanka are trying this short ball tactic since the new ball has arrived and finally they get the wicket, this was short and sliding down leg, Shah swivels across and gloves the pull, Chandimal dives to his left and takes a well-judged catch, much needed breakthrough for the Sri Lankans. Yasir Shah c Chandimal b Pradeep 23(29) [4s-4]

79.3 - Dilruwan Perera to Riaz, out Bowled!! Got him! This was a straighter one from Dilruwan Perera, Riaz went for the wild slog after advancing down the wicket, doesn't get anywhere near to the pitch of the ball, it goes past his inside edge and hits the middle stump. Shafiq is a disappointed man at the other end, Riaz could have played a second fiddle role as Shafiq did with Sarfraz. Riaz b Dilruwan Perera 14(54) [4s-1]

65.5 - Dhammika to Sarfraz Ahmed, out Bowled!! Sarfraz has missed out on a ton and he has only himself to blame. Sri Lanka needed that wicket as this partnership was taking Pakistan ahead. Sarfraz tries to be cheeky and pays the price for it. Fullish delivery outside off, Sarfraz kneels down to sweep, gets an inside edge onto off-stump. He stands his ground in disbelief before walking back. He gets a pat on the back from the incoming Riaz. Sarfraz Ahmed b Dhammika 96(86) [4s-13]

34.1 - Pradeep to Misbah, out Caught by Sangakkara!! Excellent catch by Sanga at first slip. This is a massive wicket for Sri Lanka. Pakistan in trouble as their skipper, who was well set, goes cheaply. Full and outside off stump, probably the ball just moved away from the right-hander, Misbah goes hard at the drive and plays away from the body, gets a thick edge, Sanga dives low to his left, goes with both hands and it sticks in his left hand. Misbah c Sangakkara b Pradeep 20(60) [4s-1 6s-1]

27.4 - Dilruwan Perera to Younis Khan, out Bowled!! Knocked him over! That is a huge wicket for Sri Lanka. The well set Younis Khan departs while trying to be aggressive. Dilruwan picks up his first wicket of the innings. Well tossed up delivery, dips into Younis, who was giving the charge to play the inside out drive, he is beaten and the ball goes onto hit the top of leg-stump. Younis Khan b Dilruwan Perera 47(79) [4s-6 6s-1]

9.1 - Herath to Azhar Ali, out Lbw!! This is poor judgement from Azhar Ali. He should have been forward to this one and he pays the penalty. Pakistan are under serious pressure now at 35/3. Flighted delivery from Herath, Ali goes back and is caught in the crease, he gets across the stumps as well, he plays for spin but it goes straight on with the arm and strikes him in line with middle. That ball would have at least hit the leg stump. Easy decision for umpire Paul Reiffel. Ali looked towards Younis Khan if he should review, but the senior batsman suggested that it was pretty adjacent. Azhar Ali lbw b Herath 8(19)

2.4 - Dhammika to Ahmed Shehzad, out Lbw!! Pakistan have lost another wicket! It is Prasad who has again struck for the hosts. Short of length delivery, nips back off the surface and keeps low to rap the batsman on the pads. The bowler appeals and the umpire answers it in the affirmative. Shehzad thinks of reviewing it but decides against it. The replays show it was just clipping the leg-stump. Ahmed Shehzad lbw b Dhammika 9(10) [4s-2]

1.0 - Dhammika to Hafeez, out Caught by D Karunaratne!! Pakistan have lost a wicket in the very first over! Fuller length ball and shaping away from the right-hander, Hafeez drives loosely at it by playing away from the body and it flies to third slip, where Karunaratne takes a fine catch. Hafeez could have left that delivery alone. Hafeez c D Karunaratne b Dhammika 2(6)

111.1 - Dilruwan Perera to Shafiq, 1 run, dropped, a good effort from Karunaratne in the deep, this was a flighted delivery on middle and off, Shafiq comes down the track and miscues the heave towards deep mid-wicket, Karunaratne who was placed there for the catch, moves to his left and puts in the dive, he got both hands but failed to latch onto it.

105.5 - Dilruwan Perera to Babar, 2 runs, it has been 15 years since Pakistan have built a 100-run stand for the 9th wicket, tad short and outside off, Babar stays on the back foot and guides it past slip

103.5 - Dilruwan Perera to Babar, no run, on a good length and spinning into the right hander, he gets some extra bounce on that occasion, Babar went for the flick with no footwork, he misses and the ball deflects to FSL before it hit him high on the pad, huge appeal but in vain, Sri Lanka took a long time before Mathews decided to review it.

69.0 - Herath to Riaz, no run, appeal for lbw and Sri Lanka have opted for the review. Herath is fine with his footing. There doesn't seem to be an inside edge. Riaz was way down the crease. The ball is just clipping the leg-stump. So, the onfield decision will remain. It was the arm-ball from Herath, Riaz skips out of the crease and misses the flick through the on-side, is rapped low on the pads. Sri Lanka thought for a while before challenging umpire Illingworth's decision. They have now lost both their reviews

66.1 - Herath to Shafiq, 1 run, Shafiq gets to his 12th Test fifty. Gentle applause from the dressing room. He raises his bat, shakes hands with Riaz and continues. Flighted around off, Shafiq chips down the wicket and eases the drive to long-off

49.3 - Dilruwan Perera to Sarfraz Ahmed, 2 runs, 6th Test fifty from Sarfraz , he has led the counter attack, shimmies down the track and works a well flighted delivery in front of square on the on-side. He wanted a second run and gets back with ease

8.3 - Pradeep to Younis Khan, no run, short of length delivery nips back in and surprises Younis, who tries to defend, hurries down his bat and luckily for him it didn't take the inside edge. The ball just brushed the pad en route to the keeper. Normally, if he edges it, Younis will walk and this time he didn't move an inch

72.1 - Babar to Chandimal, FOUR, Chandimal goes for the slog sweep and gets four, tossed up outside off, Chandimal connected well and got it past mid-wicket

66.5 - Babar to Chandimal, FOUR, Chandimal takes the attack to the bowler and gets four. Sees the flight on that and kneels down to sweep to deep backward square leg, hit in the air and Chandimal beats long leg running around easily

66.1 - Babar to Chandimal, FOUR, fraction short outside off and Chandimal puts that away, rocked back and cut it in the gap, wide of cover for a pressure-releasing boundary. It has to be all Chandimal now

60.5 - Riaz to Chandimal, FOUR, it was actually a mistimed cut, but since Chandimal hit it hard into the ground, he evaded Shafiq at gully and the ball bounced over the fielder's head to run away to the third man fence

59.2 - Yasir Shah to D Karunaratne, FOUR, poor from Babar. Very poor. Babar at cover is very lazy and doesn't bend down at all, allows the drive to go past his right-hand, then has to chase it down, goes after it gingerly and the ball beats him to the ropes

57.5 - Yasir Shah to D Karunaratne, FOUR, well hit and the pressure is released a bit. Sees the tossed up delivery outside off and kneels down to sweep it hard, hit in the air and beats the deep mid-wicket fielder. Karunaratne smashed that

54.3 - Riaz to D Karunaratne, FOUR, poor delivery and put away by Karunaratne, sliding down leg, clipped fine and it beats the diving fine leg fielder who ran and tried to stop it

52.3 - Riaz to Mathews, FOUR, Misbah where is the third slip? This is the last over before lunch and you have only two slips. Especially when Riaz is steaming in with passion. If there was a third slip, it would've been a dolly. Short of a length and outside off, Mathews pokes awkwardly with no conviction and the thick outside edge flies wide of the diving Younis at second slip. He went with his outstretched right-hand but couldn't get there. Was too far wide of him. Riaz can't believe his luck. Poor captaincy and it has gone for four

46.3 - Yasir Shah to D Karunaratne, FOUR, lovely shot from Karunaratne, he stays back to a delivery that is slightly shorter in length, punches it through extra cover for a boundary

32.4 - Hafeez to Thirimanne, FOUR, Shafiq does well but his dive and pull back isn't enough to prevent the boundary. Fraction short and spinning away, Thirimanne rocks back and opens the face of the bat to play a late cut, Shafiq dived head-first but tagged the ball along with him as the ball crossed the ropes

27.4 - Yasir Shah to Thirimanne, FOUR, Thirimanne wants to be positive, he takes on Yasir Shah and gets four. Down the track and driven uppishly through the vacant cover, he got to the pitch and put it away

26.5 - Riaz to Thirimanne, FOUR, fine shot. On a short of length and outside off, Thirimanne just punched it with sublime timing and beat the chasing fielder from cover. High elbow and all that jazz. That shot should give him plenty of confidence

26.2 - Riaz to Thirimanne, FOUR, streaky but Thirimanne will take it. He pressed forward to block and the thick outside edge runs away wide of gully to the vacant third man fence

18.5 - Hafeez to D Karunaratne, FOUR, lovely shot! For a moment, one thought he got too close to the ball, but Karunaratne manages to squeeze the drive to the right of mid-on, Babar doesn't bother to chase it

15.3 - Yasir Shah to Sangakkara, FOUR, beautifully played. Flighted around off, Sangakkara shimmies down the wicket, presents the full face of the bat and drives it handsomely past the non-striker, no chance for the mid-off fielder to stop it

12.4 - Junaid Khan to D Karunaratne, FOUR, lovely shot! There was hint of room and Karunaratne cashed in, back of a length, he gets on top of the bounce and plays the late cut, bisects second slip and gully expertly

12.2 - Junaid Khan to D Karunaratne, FOUR, short and plenty of width on offer, Karunaratne doesn't miss out, he stands tall and cracks it in front of square on the off-side, the ball raced away to the fence

12.0 - Yasir Shah to Sangakkara, FOUR, floated up outside off, Sangakkara kneels down and fetches the sweep from there, he hits it in front of square, no one protecting the deep mid-wicket fence. First boundary for Sanga

9.4 - Yasir Shah to D Karunaratne, FOUR, lovely use of the feet, tossed up on the stumps, Karunaratne chips down the wicket, meets the pitch of the ball and flicks it through mid-wicket, long-on can't get across in time to stop it

9.3 - Yasir Shah to D Karunaratne, byes, FOUR, what happened there? Sarfraz was definitely surprised. It pitched on middle, jumped up awkwardly, Karunaratne gets inside the line and lets it pass, Sarfraz was undone by the extra bounce

6.3 - Riaz to Kaushal Silva, FOUR, tad overpitched and Silva was all over it. It was outside off, Silva comes on the front foot and creams it through cover, not a muscle moved in the field as the ball hurried across the turf

5.3 - Junaid Khan to D Karunaratne, FOUR, short and wide, this time Karunaratne gets it better, he cuts it towards the sweeper cover fence with sublime timing and power

3.4 - Junaid Khan to D Karunaratne, FOUR, slightly fuller and just outside off, Karunaratne leans forward and punches it past the left of the leaping bowler, he middled it as the ball went to fence in a hurry, Misbah gave the chase but couldn't prevent the ball from touching the rope

77.1 - Yasir Shah to Chandimal, out Stumped!! That's it. Seven-for for Yasir Shah. He has a huge smile on his face as he hugs the keeper. Well bowled by Yasir Shah, he spotted Chandimal coming down the track and bowled the leggie outside off, the batsman walked past the shot, attempted the flick but the ball turned away sharply past the outside edge. Sarfraz effects the stumping. Chandimal st Sarfraz Ahmed b Yasir Shah 38(73) [4s-4]

73.4 - Yasir Shah to Herath, out Caught by Hafeez!! I have run out of words now. I give up. Need a dictionary to search for new words to describe this from Sri Lanka. Shocking and mind blowing is what I will go for this time. Tossed up outside off, Herath wants to play the slog sweep with two fielders on the fence for that shot, he connects and finds the deep mid-wicket fielder. Hafeez judges it well and takes a low catch diving forward. Another wicket thrown away when you are trying to save the match. And they didn't even cross over! Herath c Hafeez b Yasir Shah 1(4)

72.5 - Babar to Dhammika, out Stumped!! What is happening? Incredible. Astounding batting by the Sri Lankans. Something has gone into Dhammika's head and he decides to charge Babar, the bowler bowls it slower, drags his length back and beats Dhammika's ugly slog to leg, the ball turns away from the blade and Sarfraz does the rest. The Pakistanis were too stunned to celebrate wildly. Dhammika st Sarfraz Ahmed b Babar 2(19)

65.3 - Yasir Shah to Kithuruwan Vithanage, out Caught by Babar!! Brainfade! Absolute brainfade. Kithuruwan Vithanage has holed out to deep backward square leg. Pre-meditated the slog sweep and perishes. This was bowled outside off, Kithuruwan Vithanage went with the spin but picked out the fielder to pinpoint perfection. Had Babar dropped that wonder what Misbah's reaction would've been. Instead he hangs on to a simple catch. Five-for for Yasir Shah. He does the Sajda - kissing the turf. Nice to see that from the man who looks like a carbon copy of Lionel Messi. Kithuruwan Vithanage c Babar b Yasir Shah 1(12)

61.3 - Yasir Shah to D Karunaratne, out Stumped!! What have you done Karuna? What have you done? After playing so well, he charges Yasir Shah looking for the big hit and is out stumped. Stumped in a Test match. Unbelievable really. There was no need to play that shot. Clever from Yasir Shah as he slipped it past the shot, it turned and bounced, brilliant stumping from Sarfraz too as he brought it down and whipped the bails off. Sarfraz needed to be quick and did so. Misbah has a disbelieving smile on his face. Karunaratne was looking to go over cow corner but the turn and bounce defeated him completely. D Karunaratne st Sarfraz Ahmed b Yasir Shah 79(173) [4s-10]

53.2 - Yasir Shah to Mathews, out Caught by Azhar Ali!! Mathews is unlucky. From the front on replays it showed that he had missed the ball. He was trying to nudge it to leg and was given out caught at short leg. Mathews reviewed it immediately, that is a sure sign that the batsman hasn't got anything on it. But can't fault the third umpire as well - without much help he has to rely only on what is available to him, there is no conclusive evidence to overturn the decision and he goes with the on-field call. He did justice to whatever aid was available to him. Mathews can't believe his luck and begins the forlon walk back. Mathews c Azhar Ali b Yasir Shah 5(16) [4s-1]

48.1 - Riaz to Thirimanne, out Caught by Younis Khan!! Riaz has straightaway struck for the visitors! He bowls it on a short of length and bowls it with good pace outside off, Thirimanne gets half forward, tries to punch off the back foot, gets a thick edge and Younis Khan takes an excellent catch with both hands at first slip. Misbah also deserves credit for making the change. Thirimanne c Younis Khan b Riaz 44(95) [4s-4]

21.1 - Yasir Shah to Dilruwan Perera, out Bowled!! Gone! First ball of the day. What a start for Pakistan. Yasir Shah is running with gritted teeth as he celebrates. Such a bad leave that is from Dilruwan Perera. He didn't cover his off stump and just left it leaving an easy way for the ball to hit off. It was the straighter one and Dilruwan Perera had no clue at all. Superb piece of bowling from the leggie. Dilruwan Perera b Yasir Shah 0(6)

19.1 - Yasir Shah to Sangakkara, out Caught by Azhar Ali!! That's a huge wicket late in the day. Sangakkara didn't even wait for the umpire to raise his finger. Floated up outside off from round the wicket, Sangakkara presses forward to defend, the ball bounces a bit more, hits the shoulder of the bat, deflects off the pad to short leg, Azhar Ali takes a simple catch. A rare failure for Sangakkara. Sangakkara c Azhar Ali b Yasir Shah 18(27) [4s-2]

8.4 - Riaz to Kaushal Silva, out Caught by Azhar Ali!! Riaz provides the breakthrough. Pakistan don't suffer much on the missed review. This was cleverly bowled from Riaz, slower one around off, grips the surface and bounces extra, Silva was deceived by the pace, pushes at it, the outside edge goes at a nice height to Azhar Ali at third slip. Misbah and rest of the Pakistanis are jubilant. Kaushal Silva c Azhar Ali b Riaz 5(30) [4s-1]

70.5 - Babar to Dhammika, no run, dropped by Azhar Ali at silly point. An easy catch too, Dhammika pushing out with hard hands and it lobbed to Azhar's left, who went with one hand, better off with two, the ball didn't stick. How costly will that be? Dhammika is known to be a stodgy customer and can hang around

10.1 - Riaz to Sangakkara, 1 run, dropped! It was a tough chance though. Short and aimed at the ribs, Sangakkara gets inside the line and tucks it uppishly to short leg, Azhar Ali was the man under the helmet, he was a bit late to react, the ball hits his forearm and rolls away behind square. Riaz has his hands on his head. That would have been a game changer

72.4 - Babar to Dhammika, no run, cheers at Galle after Paul Reiffel stands by his original call, it drifted in with the angle, looked like the arm ball, Dhammika was going back to defend and is rapped on the pads, not much going for the appeal and the ball was bouncing over the stumps. Reiffel is proved right and Pakistan use up their review

36.4 - Babar to D Karunaratne, 1 run, fifty for Karunaratne, straightens outside off, punched to the right of the bowler, gritty fifty from the opener, Mathews and a couple of others clap his effort

15.0 - Hafeez to D Karunaratne, no run, the quicker one from Hafeez, skids on and hurries onto Karunaratne, who stays rooted to the crease and is hit on the pad first. Umpire Reiffel thought there was an inside edge, but it hit the bat after the pad. However, the ball was sliding on and would have just clipped the leg-stump. They lose one of their reviews

0.4 - Riaz to Kaushal Silva, no run, back of a length and sliding down leg, Silva looks to tickle it fine and misses, he gets hit on the thigh pad, the ball deflects to short backward square leg who takes a good diving catch, he appeals up in a flash but in vain. Umpire Reiffel took his time before raising the finger, but as soon as he did Silva reviewed it. He knew he had not got anything on that

11.2 - Herath to Ahmed Shehzad, FOUR, Pakistan win! Ahmed Shehzad finishes it off well. Down the track and to the pitch before he whips it wide of mid-on. The ball races away and cue for high-fives and celebrations in the Pakistani camp. Ahmed Shehzad and Hafeez have finished it off in style and carry stumps as souvenirs on the way back. Clinically chased down

10.3 - Dilruwan Perera to Hafeez, FOUR, half-tracker and on the stumps, Hafeez is quick to rock back and hammer a pull to the wide long-on fence, Dilruwan Perera gets an earful from Mathews who isn't a happy man. Very poor delivery and it got the treatment it deserved

10.0 - Herath to Ahmed Shehzad, FOUR, that is lucky. Ahmed Shehzad wants a hat-trick and gets a thick inside edge on the push, he came down the track looking for yet another lofted hit, the length is shortened by Herath, but the inside edge goes to the left of Chandimal giving him no chance, runs away to the fine leg fence

9.5 - Herath to Ahmed Shehzad, FOUR, now all along the ground and four more. Ahmed Shehzad doing the double on Herath, down the track and drilled to the right of mid-off who dived but couldn't get near the ball. Pakistan racing away to a win

9.4 - Herath to Ahmed Shehzad, FOUR, Ahmed Shehzad wants to end this early. Down the track and lofts it back over Herath's head, beats mid-off. Easily done

8.3 - Dilruwan Perera to Ahmed Shehzad, FOUR, Dhammika at deep mid-wicket has not got that. It was lofted towards his left and he picked it late, by the time he went to catch that the ball eluded him, he slid but couldn't get near the ball, Shehzad using his feet and getting a boundary

7.5 - Pradeep to Ahmed Shehzad, FOUR, a tad fuller and outside off, Shehzad threw his hands at it and got a thick outside edge through gully for yet another boundary. Third man region is vacant and the ball runs away

7.3 - Pradeep to Hafeez, FOUR, short delivery and down leg, Hafeez swivelled and pulled it through fine leg for a boundary

7.0 - Dilruwan Perera to Hafeez, FOUR, short and outside off, Hafeez tries to cut, gets a thick outside edge, it flies past the first slip fielder for a boundary

4.0 - Dhammika to Hafeez, FOUR, short of length delivery and on the stumps, Hafeez whipped it uppishly in the air to backward square leg for a boundary, beats Pradeep running across from long leg. It was stylishly played by Hafeez

3.2 - Dhammika to Hafeez, FOUR, lovely drive by Hafeez. It was too full and just outside off, Hafeez comes forward and drives it through cover for a boundary

1.0 - Herath to Hafeez, FOUR, slower and short outside off, all the time for Hafeez to rock back and cut wide of backward point, he does so and gets four

10.2 - Dilruwan Perera to Hafeez, SIX, that is just a chip. A chip for a six. More of a golf shot that. Hafeez came down the track and got too close to the pitch of the ball, but still went through with the hit, cleared long-on comfortably

2.4 - Herath to Hafeez, no run, it came in with the angle, Hafeez missed the forward defence, it rapped him on the pads, given not out by the umpire. Sri Lanka immediately reviewed, but it was missing the leg-stump
