46.2 - P Cummins to James Taylor, FOUR, a poor ball from Cummins after a long time, length delivery straying down the leg-side, Taylor tickles it fine to fine leg and moves to 96. He's just one hit away from a hundred now

43.4 - Starc to Bairstow, FOUR, crashed hard and the connection is very good. Full and in the slot, not good enough from Starc, Bairstow gives himself a bit of room and drills it uppishly to the left of mid-off, no protection in the deep and it runs away for four

43.2 - Starc to James Taylor, FOUR, poor line and all the pressure that was built by Maxwell and Cummins has been released. Starc tries to reverse this full ball away from the right-hander, but it's too straight, ends around leg stump line and Taylor easily tickles it on its way for four

38.4 - Mitchell Marsh to Stokes, FOUR, no stopping this one though, Marsh dropped one short and just outside off, Stokes is quick to rock back and bludgeons the pull - wide of mid-wicket, no chance for the man in the deep

38.0 - Maxwell to James Taylor, FOUR, that ruins the over for Maxwell, he drifted one outside off, Taylor comes down the track, gets to the pitch of the ball and goes over mid-off, one bounce and over the ropes for a boundary

30.5 - Mitchell Marsh to James Taylor, FOUR, lovely shot, fraction too short from Marsh, Taylor spots the length early, rocks back and pulls it in front of square on the on-side, beats mid-wicket to the fence

29.1 - Starc to Eoin Morgan, FOUR, edged and just wide of Wade! This was well wide outside off, Morgan flashes hard and gets a thick outside edge that flies to the left of the keeper, who dives full length but couldn't quite get his hand to it. The ball runs away to the fence in no time

28.5 - J Pattinson to James Taylor, FOUR, first boundary for Taylor. This was shortish and there was enough width on offer for Taylor to free his arms. He cuts it well and gets it in the gap behind square on the off-side, another four runs added to the total

27.1 - Maxwell to Eoin Morgan, FOUR, very full and on the stumps, Morgan drills it to the right of the diving short cover, who fails to stop it. Starc from sweeper runs to his left, puts in a full length dive to his left but the ball escapes to the fence. Sumblime timing on that one

26.5 - J Pattinson to Eoin Morgan, FOUR, Pattinson pays the price for drifting on the pads. Morgan waits for it and glances it fine, there was no chance of stopping that from hitting the fence

24.3 - Ashton Agar to Eoin Morgan, FOUR, lovely shot against the spin! Tossed up outside off, Morgan leans forward and lofts it inside-out over extra cover, the ball runs away to the fence in a jiffy. Good placement from the English skipper

21.5 - Maxwell to Eoin Morgan, FOUR, Morgan brings out the reverse sweep! He gets this flatter delivery over backward point and it runs away to the fence. There was no stopping that one as it was well over the fielder

19.4 - Maxwell to Eoin Morgan, FOUR, in the air but just past the diving mid-on fielder, flighted delivery on the stumps, Morgan lofts it in the air over mid-on. Pattinson dives to his right, the ball just evaded him, lucky escape for the English skipper

15.4 - P Cummins to Eoin Morgan, FOUR, what a way to get off your mark! Full and driving width on offer, Morgan obliges and laces the drive through cover, timed that so sweetly

13.3 - P Cummins to Jason Roy, FOUR, 90.2mph, but the length is short, Roy gives the punishment it deserves. Waits for this short and wide delivery and flays it uppishly square of the wicket, easy pickings for Roy

11.2 - P Cummins to Jason Roy, FOUR, 90.6 mph, edged and safe, Roy was beaten for pace there. Had there been a first slip, Roy was gone. Back of a length delivery outside off, Roy pokes late and gets a thick outside edge which flies wide of the diving Wade. Four runs and Roy won't mind that, he is one short of his fifty now

10.0 - P Cummins to Jason Roy, FOUR, Roy keeps going at the other end, overpitched delivery outside off, he gets a good stride forward and caresses the drive through extra cover, the timing kept taking the ball away from the fielder

8.1 - Ashton Agar to Jason Roy, FOUR, first ball in ODI cricket and it is a four. Short and outside off, Roy cuts through cover-point, the ball raced across the turf

6.5 - Starc to Jason Roy, FOUR, fourth four and Starc is leaking plenty. Too full and outside off, almost yorker length, Roy brings his bat down and jams it to the left of backward point, beats third man in the deep as well

6.3 - Starc to Jason Roy, FOUR, hat-trick of boundaries. Starc went for the toe-crusher, got it wrong - low full toss on the stumps, Roy flicks it right between the two mid-wicket fielders. Starc's pace took the ball to the fence

6.2 - Starc to Jason Roy, FOUR, clever from Roy. The slips were removed and Roy saw that as an opportunity, he waits for the good length delivery to arrive, opens the bat face and steers it fine for another boundary

6.1 - Starc to Jason Roy, FOUR, short delivery and Roy was waiting for it, he was into position quickly, rolls his wrists and pulls it in front of square, not a muscled moved in the field and Roy nailed the shot

3.2 - J Pattinson to Jason Roy, FOUR, lovely shot! No need to run for those and the duo did just that. Fuller and on the stumps, Roy leans forward and clips it beautifully through mid-wicket, the timing and placement was sublime

1.5 - J Pattinson to Hales, FOUR, first runs off the bat. It was a full delivery on the stumps, Hales presses forward and flicks it elegantly through mid-wicket, Marsh gives chase only to come second. That was timed superbly

49.3 - Starc to Woakes, SIX, that's a timely strike from Woakes. Full and in the slot as Starc misses the yorker, Woakes swings across the line and slogs it hard to clear the deep mid-wicket boundary

45.1 - Starc to Bairstow, SIX, has he timed that well? Oh yes, he has, a bit of exercise for umpire Joel Wilson. Short of a length from round the wicket, Bairstow plays the pull, not from the sweetest spot of the bat, but he swung hard to ensure that it went all the way over deep mid-wicket

30.2 - Mitchell Marsh to Eoin Morgan, SIX, Morgan is opening up now, tad fuller and just outside off, the slower delivery from Marsh, Morgan leans forward, presents the full face of the bat and lifts it high and over long-on for a maximum

49.2 - Starc to James Taylor, out Caught by Ashton Agar!! In the airrrr and that's a good catch running back from mid-off by Agar. Shortish and on the stumps, Taylor was hurried on the pull, the ball hits him high on the bat and goes up in the air, mid-off runs back and takes a good catch. Excellent knock from Taylor comes to an end. He walks off to a standing ovation from the capacity crowd. James Taylor c Ashton Agar b Starc 101(114) [4s-5]

46.5 - P Cummins to James Taylor, out Plunkett Run Out!! Taylor has hit this straight to the fielder, Plunkett charges for a non-existent run and gifts his wicket. Taylor has a long look at Plunkett. Short delivery on the stumps, Taylor pulls off the back foot and picks out mid-wicket to perfection, because he was on the back foot, he yells out a loud 'noooo' to his partner, but Plunkett didn't hear the call, Bailey threw it slowly to the bowler, who did very well to run back and whip the bails off. Plunkett was not even in the picture. Plunkett run out (Bailey/P Cummins) 1(1)

46.1 - P Cummins to Moeen Ali, out Caught by J Pattinson!! That's almost a top edge and mid-on makes no mistake. Shortish and around off stump line, Moeen Ali goes for the pull, but it slightly late on the shot, the bat turns in his hands on impact with the ball, goes off the outside half of the bat and Pattinson takes the steepler. Moeen Ali c J Pattinson b P Cummins 1(3)

45.3 - Starc to Bairstow, out Bairstow Run Out!! Brilliant direct-hit from skipper Smith. Starc tries the yorker and bowls a low full toss, Bairstow drives hard and hits it straight to Smith at extra-cover, he takes on Smith's arm but the throw was right on target and caught Bairstow just short of his crease. He almost made it but the bails were disloged when Bairstow was just inches away from the crease. The third umpire had a look and was convinced that Bairstow was short of his crease. Bairstow run out (Smith) 17(18) [4s-1 6s-1]

39.2 - Maxwell to Stokes, out Caught by Finch!! Stokes has thrown his wicket away! This was tossed up invitingly outside off, Stokes went for the big slog sweep, doesn't account for the extra bounce, gets a thick top-edge, high, and towards mid-wicket. Finch calls, settles underneath the skier and takes the catch, reverse cupped. That's a big wicket for Australia, Stokes was looking to up the tempo. Stokes c Finch b Maxwell 14(20) [4s-1]

33.1 - Maxwell to Eoin Morgan, out Caught by Starc!! Morgan looks to take on Maxwell and pays the penalty! This was tossed up and spun away slightly, Morgan was looking to go back over the bowler's head, the bat turned slightly on impact, he ends up getting the toe-end on the loft, slices it high and towards long-off. Starc doesn't have to move an inch, takes the catch and breaks the stand. Morgan looks gutted as he walks back to the hut. Eoin Morgan c Starc b Maxwell 62(56) [4s-7 6s-1]

15.0 - Ashton Agar to Jason Roy, out Caught by Maxwell!! Yet another promising knock comes to an end and it's the maiden ODI wicket for Ashton Agar. Roy is out in the sixties for the second time in this series, this was nicely tossed up around middle and off, Roy advances and looks to go inside out over cover, but doesn't get to the pitch of the ball, ends up punching it hard as he checks his drive. Maxwell at short cover leaps high, palms it and grabs it on the second attempt. Luckily for Maxi the ball didn't go too far away from him. Jason Roy c Maxwell b Ashton Agar 63(45) [4s-9]

9.3 - P Cummins to Hales, out Caught by Mitchell Marsh!! Cummins strikes in his first over. Something had to give as Hales was looking scratchy. In the end it is a soft dismissal. Fuller and angling into the batsman, Hales leans forward and flicks, doesn't keep it down and a sharp catch by Marsh to his right at short mid-wicket, the ball was travelling and Marsh made it look easy. Third time in three innings that Hales has been caught inside the 30-yard circle. Hales c Mitchell Marsh b P Cummins 9(31) [4s-1]

48.2 - P Cummins to James Taylor, 1 run, drama! Is Taylor run-out on 99? No, the umpire is not sending this upstairs. A big smile on Taylor's face and why not! Maiden ODI hundred and he gets a standing ovation from crowd and his team-mates. He takes the helmet off and raises the bat to acknowledge the applause. Full and on the stumps, Taylor drives, the ball deflects off the non-striker's bat and hits the stumps at the bowler's end, Cummins runs back and takes a stump out, but Taylor dived full length to make his ground

30.1 - Mitchell Marsh to James Taylor, 1 run, fifty for Taylor, his 6th in ODIs, another busy innings from the Notts batsman, back of a length and well outside off, steered away towards third man for a single

29.2 - Starc to Eoin Morgan, 1 run, 27th ODI fifty for the English skipper! He has been in superb form in this series. Starc goes for the yorker this time around but ends up dishing out a very full ball outside off, Morgan goes hard at it, the ball takes the outside edge and rolls away to third man

11.3 - P Cummins to Jason Roy, 2 runs, this time he waits on this short of length delivery and steers it to third man for a couple. Reaches his milestone (second fifty) and acknowledges the applause from his teammates

43.5 - Finn to Wade, FOUR, Finn changes his length, bowls this one fuller but gets the same treatment. Wade stays back, gets underneath the ball and lofts it wide of long-off for another boundary

43.4 - Finn to Wade, FOUR, England are finding it hard to take the final wicket. It was short, it was slow and it was there to be hit, Wade waits for the ball to arrive, swings hard on the pull and sends it to the deep mid-wicket fence for a boundary

43.1 - Finn to Wade, FOUR, smacked! This was shortish and angling away outside off, Wade cracks it hard and gets it in the gap between short extra cover and mid-off, runs away to the fence in a jiffy

41.2 - Plunkett to Wade, FOUR, bit too straight in line this time around, Wade pulls it to the right of the man at short fine leg, who had no chance of stopping that. Runs away to the fence in a jiffy

39.5 - Plunkett to Wade, FOUR, smashed! Wade gives Plunkett the charge, dispatches width for himself and cracks it through the extra cover region for a boundary, the fielder at sweeper cover had no chance of stopping that

27.4 - Adil Rashid to Mitchell Marsh, FOUR, fraction short and Marsh is all over it. He used the depth of the crease there, goes well back and pulls it square of the wicket on the leg-side, the fielder was at deep mid-wicket and he had no chance

26.2 - Moeen Ali to Maxwell, FOUR, another reverse sweep, this time a better connection. Flighted on middle and leg, Maxwell fetches it from there and sweeps it hard and over cover-point, couple of bounces and into the fence

26.1 - Moeen Ali to Maxwell, FOUR, Maxwell is going to counter-attack. Sit back folks as we enter an interesting phase of the game. Tossed up outside off, Maxwell reverse sweeps it square of the wicket, no one at sweeper to stop that

25.4 - Adil Rashid to Maxwell, FOUR, a much needed boundary for Australia. This is the first four after 40 balls. It was a full toss on off, Maxwell whips it to wide long-on, the fielder runs to his right, dives and the ball escapes under him

18.5 - Plunkett to Finch, FOUR, yet again Finch brings out the cover drive and this time he places it a lot better. Fullish and outside off, Finch leans on the front foot and creams the drive wide of mid-off

17.0 - Plunkett to Finch, FOUR, whoa! That's one of the lovely looking shots of the day. Fraction fuller and in the channel outside off, Finch presents the full face as he laces the drive wide of mid-off, raced away in a hurry

12.2 - Finn to Smith, FOUR, inside edge but Smith is lucky to get away with it, slightly short and outside off, Smith looked to punch it to the on-side, was early in doing so. Ball catches the inside edge and dribbles to the left of the keeper, Bairstow dived but to no avail, he didn't even have the time to react

11.5 - Plunkett to Finch, FOUR, pitched up and in the slot, Finch plays an elegant looking uppish drive straight down the ground. Middled it to perfection, raced away to the fence

9.3 - Plunkett to Finch, FOUR, beautifully played, back of a length and just outside off, Finch stands tall, presents the full face of the bat and punches it back past the bowler. It beats Rashid - running across to his left from mid-on and races away to the fence in a hurry

7.5 - Woakes to Smith, FOUR, lovely shot, Smith has been in exceptional touch this whole tour, on a good length and well outside off, Smith leans into the drive and caresses it past cover-point, no need to run for those

6.3 - Finn to Smith, FOUR, cracking shot, a long half-volley from Finn, Smith leans forward and punches it past extra cover, the timing is sweet and the ball races away to the fence. Lovely way to get off the mark

5.4 - Woakes to Finch, FOUR, this is excellent batting from Finch, pitched up and well outside off, Finch gets well forward and lifts it over mid-off, didn't get hold of the shot, the ball bounces twice and hits the rope

5.2 - Woakes to Finch, FOUR, short and just outside off, Finch swivels across, rolls his wrists and pulls it in front of square on the on-side, beats the man in the ring and it's another boundary

4.5 - Finn to Finch, FOUR, Finch is looking positive! Length delivery on the stumps, Finch presses forward, presents the full face of the bat and punches it over mid-on for a boundary

3.2 - Woakes to Finch, FOUR, cracking shot, overpitched and just outside off, Finch leans forward, presents the full face of the bat and lifts it over mid-on, almost went all the way, bounced just in front of the ropes

44.0 - Finn to Wade, out Bowled!! England win by 93 runs! They keep their hopes of winning the series alive with this victory. The series now stands at 2-1 in favour of Australia with two matches still to go. This was a length delivery on the stumps, Wade comes charging down the track and swings hard once again, but this time he didn't get any part of the bat on it and the ball cannons into middle and leg. Wade b Finn 42(41) [4s-5]

39.4 - Plunkett to P Cummins, out Caught by Jason Roy!! England are just a wicket away from the win now. It was a fuller delivery on the stumps, Cummins lofts it through the line but doesn't quite get it off the meat of the bat, Roy at long-on takes the simplest of catches. P Cummins c Jason Roy b Plunkett 5(5)

38.5 - Moeen Ali to Starc, out Caught by Bairstow!! Finally, Ali gets his man. Starc was never looking comfortable against him. This was darted on off and middle, Starc once again goes hard at the ball, the ball takes a faint outside edge and Bairstow did well to take it to his left. It was traveling quickly and Yorkshiremen does well to hold on. Starc c Bairstow b Moeen Ali 1(4)

38.0 - Plunkett to Ashton Agar, out Caught by Jason Roy!! Brilliant catch from Roy, their catching has been exceptional today. Agar gives the charge this time around, Plunkett follows him as he looks to slog it away, the ball goes high in the air. Roy from long-on runs forward to his left, he misjudged it at first and the ball was falling behind him, he somehow managed to get his right hand to it, the ball lobs out and he managed to hold on to the second attempt despite taking a tumble. Excellent recovery from Roy after he misjudged it at first. Ashton Agar c Jason Roy b Plunkett 5(15)

34.0 - Plunkett to Mitchell Marsh, out Caught by Woakes!! That's what you call a lollipop catch. A soft dismissal for Australia's hero in the last game. This was a back of a length delivery angling in on the stumps, Marsh hangs back and looks to flick it through the on-side, doesn't keep it down and offers the simplest of catches to Woakes at short mid-wicket. The Australian run-chase is falling apart at Old Trafford. Mitchell Marsh c Woakes b Plunkett 13(26) [4s-1]

28.5 - Moeen Ali to Bailey, out Caught by Stokes!! What have you done Bailey? Not a wicket taking delivery, but England won't mind it. A nice juicy full toss just outside off, Bailey steps out of the crease, manages to get underneath that, heaves it to the on-side, picks out Stokes at deep mid-wicket, who runs forward and gobbles it. Australia in trouble now having lost half their side. Bailey c Stokes b Moeen Ali 25(42)

26.3 - Moeen Ali to Maxwell, out Caught by Bairstow!! There goes Maxi. Needless shot from him. The umpire took a long time to give that out. Maxwell stood his ground before making the way to the pavilion. He had hit two fours, tries the reverse sweep one more time, Moeen Ali slowed it up, the ball takes the top-edge, brushes the forearm and lobs to the off-side, Bairstow moves to his right and takes it. Maxwell c Bairstow b Moeen Ali 17(12) [4s-3]

21.4 - Adil Rashid to Finch, out Caught by Woakes!! Rashid once again turning it on for England. That is his 7th wicket in the series. Finch goes after a well compiled innings, but Australians would have wanted him to stay for a longer time. Floated up nicely on off, Finch clears his front leg and looks to go over the bowler, he miscues it towards long-on, Woakes settles under and reverse cups it comfortably. Finch c Woakes b Adil Rashid 53(60) [4s-8]

15.5 - Adil Rashid to Smith, out Caught by Finn!! Smith walks back to a grand reception (if you know what I mean), lots of jeers as the Aussie skipper walks back. Must say this is an absolute stunner from Steven Finn. Smith takes a step forward and flicks, for a moment it looked as if he placed it well wide of the fielder at short mid-wicket. The lanky Middlesex lad dives to his right, stretches his right hand out and grabs a screamer. He is mobbed by his teammates and England sense that they have removed the dangerman. Smith c Finn b Adil Rashid 25(33) [4s-3]

6.1 - Finn to Burns, out Caught by Eoin Morgan!! Burns was looking itchy and has thrown his wicket away! Almost a collision between Morgan and Roy - but the England skipper holds on. Australia have lost their first wicket. This was a good length delivery that angled back into Burns, he was looking to flick, closed the face of the bat early and got a leading edge towards mid-off. Morgan ran in, Roy ran back from short extra cover, there was no calling between the two fielders. They almost tumbled into each other, but by then, Morgan had done well to hold onto the ball - diving forward with both hands. Sheepish smiles on both faces as they celebrate. Burns c Eoin Morgan b Finn 9(18)

28.0 - Adil Rashid to Mitchell Marsh, no run, that is a top use of the DRS. Umpire Rob Bailey took his time before raising his finger. Marsh was quick to consult Bailey and the duo decided to take the review. Flatter and around off, Marsh shuffles across and misses the defence, the impact was outside off and ball would have gone past off-stump

19.5 - Adil Rashid to Finch, 2 runs, googly outside off, Finch goes for the lofted drive, gets it off the inside half of the bat, ball goes over mid-wicket. Fifty for Finch and he is all smiles
