Okay, so the Pakistani openers will walk out in a while to salvage something. Some call it pride. Here they are..The 39-year old Rafatullah Mohmand with Ahmed Shehzad. Willey is at the top of his mark. One slip in place for him and an even split of fielders on both sides of the wicket

A return to Sharjah's nostalgia and comfort proved hollow as Pakistan lost yet another toss, their fourth on the trot. Debutant Aamer Yamin lifted spirits with a first-ball wicket that saw Jason Roy back. Joe Root then blazed away to a 22-ball 32 only for Afridi to sneak one through. Run-drought for Moeen Ali continued with a nought next ball that helped Afridi to his eventual figures of 4-0-19-2. Arrest-the-fall keenness from Buttler came second to keeper Rizwan's underarm throw and England slipped to a hapless 75-5 in the 11th over. Woakes-Vince's reassuring partnership could have been limited but a steepler landed between three converging (and confused) fielders to defy Pakistan. A total on the board that's hard to pass a verdict on but Pakistan chasing anything can be dramatic and fun. Join us in a few minutes for the chase.

Willey 3(2) Jordan 0(0) Tanvir 4-0-36-2

19.6 - Tanvir to Willey, 2 runs, goes for a big hack off this length delivery, ends up dragging it wide of long-on off the inside half of the bat. The batsmen decide to take on the fielder for the second run but the throw took ages to reach the keeper and the batsmen get it comfortably in the end

Chris Jordan, right handed bat, comes to the crease

19.5 - Tanvir to James Vince, out Caught by U Akmal!! Akmal has been the best fielder for Pakistan today. Takes his third catch of the night and it's another good one. Vince departs just four short of his fifty. Another slower short ball outside off, Vince pulls it straight down the throat of deep mid-wicket, Akmal settles under it, it was hit flat and the momentum could have taken Akmal over the rope, he though did extremely well to maintain his balance and hangs onto the catch. James Vince c U Akmal b Tanvir 46(45) [4s-3 6s-1]

Tanvir to James Vince, THAT'S OUT!! Caught!!

19.4 - Tanvir to James Vince, FOUR, full toss on the pads from round the wicket, Vince comes slightly across and helps it fine past Irfan at short fine leg, the fielder should have put in the dive there but doesn't. Races away to the fence in a jiffy

19.3 - Tanvir to Willey, 1 run, slightly short outside off, Willey goes hard at it, the ball skews off the inside edge and rolls away to the right of the keeper, the batsmen cross over before the keeper gets to it

19.2 - Tanvir to James Vince, 1 run, slower short ball outside off, Vince pulls it to deep mid-wicket, hit it well but could only find the fielder in the deep, just a single available

David Willey, left handed bat, comes to the crease

19.1 - Tanvir to Woakes, out Caught by U Akmal!! Woakes departs after lifting England to a respectable total. His contribution might well make the difference in the end. Banged in short this time around, Woakes goes for the pull but can only manage a top-edge that goes high in the air. Akmal from mid-wicket backtracks and takes the skier with ease in the end. Woakes c U Akmal b Tanvir 37(24) [4s-1 6s-3]

James Vince 41(42) Woakes 37(23) Irfan 4-0-40-0

18.6 - Irfan to James Vince, SIX, thumped! Slightly short outside off, Vince stands tall in the crease and tonks it way over backward square leg with a big swipe, there was a fielder in the deep but he was a mere spectator

18.5 - Irfan to James Vince, no run, Vince goes right across his stumps to try and scoop this fine, he can't lay bat on it and the ball goes off the pad to the keeper, who pouches it after bending forward. Rizwan quickly throws the ball towards the bowler to prevent any chance of a run

18.4 - Irfan to James Vince, no run, in the blockhole outside off, Vince tries to squeeze it out but fails to make any sort of connection

18.3 - Irfan to James Vince, FOUR, slightly back of a length and angling down the leg-side, Vince gets down on one knee and helps it fine behind square on the leg-side, the fielder in the deep runs across to his right, slides near the rope but can't prevent it from reaching the fence

18.2 - Irfan to Woakes, 1 run, 50 of the partnership comes up! Low full toss around off, Woakes drives it to sweeper cover for a single

18.1 - Irfan to Woakes, 2 runs, just short of a good length and outside off, Woakes was backing away at first, had to reach out as he goes for the loft off this slower ball, the ball was in the air for a little while but bounces well in front of the man at sweeper, good running ensures that the batsmen come back for the second before the fielder throws it at the striker's end

Woakes 34(21) James Vince 31(38) Anwar Ali 4-0-35-1

17.6 - Anwar Ali to Woakes, 1 run, angling in on the stumps, Woakes whips it through square leg, keeps the strike with a single

17.5 - Anwar Ali to Woakes, SIX, what a super strike! Overpitching outside off, Woakes gets down on one knee, opens the face of the bat as he goes for the lofted drive and carves it way over the sweeper cover fence. That was magnificently timed by Woakes

17.4 - Anwar Ali to James Vince, 1 run, another one in the blockhole around off, Vince squeezes it back past the bowler, who fails to get a hand on it and the ball deflects towards the mid-on region off the stumps at the non-striker's end, the batsmen scamper across for a quick single

17.3 - Anwar Ali to James Vince, no run, nicely done yet again! A wide yorker outside off, Vince had to really reach out to make any sort of contact. He can only squeeze it out in front of the bowler and there was no chance of going through for a single

17.3 - Anwar Ali to James Vince, wide, Vince backs away and puts Ali off his line and length, he bowls it further down the leg-side and Vince lets it go, signalled a wide

17.2 - Anwar Ali to Woakes, 1 run, good comeback from Ali, bowls a yorker outside off, Woakes squeezes it out towards short third man, where Tanvir fields it but can't prevent the single. Looks like he has done something to his finger as he is grimacing in pain. Seems to have gotten better now and we are ready to continue

17.1 - Anwar Ali to Woakes, SIX, now Ali has been smacked out of the park. That travelled 98 metres! On a length and right in the slot, Woakes clears his front leg and whacks it over the cow corner fence with a meaty swing of the arms. Lands on the roof and falls on the other side of the ground

16.6 - Irfan to Woakes, 1 run, oh my god! Three fielders converge on the same ball but it was Anwar Ali who dropped it. Slower ball on the stumps, Woakes was looking to go big, was too early into the shot and ends up getting it high off the bat. The ball goes miles in the air, three fielders were going after it but it was Ali who ran in from third man, gets both hands to it but spills it over. You can't afford to do this at this level

16.5 - Irfan to James Vince, 1 run, Irfan lands one in the blockhole, Vince squeezes it out to long-on

16.4 - Irfan to Woakes, 1 run, on a good length and outside off, Woakes stays back and glides it to the left of a diving backward point, the batsmen take another run before third man gets to the ball

16.4 - Irfan to Woakes, wide, slower ball that's bowled well wide outside off, Woakes can't reach it and the umpire signals a wide

16.3 - Irfan to Woakes, 2 runs, just short of a good length and was the off-pace delivery from Irfan again, Woakes was looking to crack it hard, manages to spoon it back over the bowler off the inside half of the blade, the batsmen have ample time to come back for the second before long-off runs forward to stop it

16.2 - Irfan to Woakes, SIX, mammoth! Woakes does extremely well to time this to perfection. Backs away a little to give himself room to free his arms, lofts this full delivery inside-out over extra cover, he made a very solid connection and the ball sails well over the boundary rope

16.1 - Irfan to Woakes, no run, slower length ball outside off, Woakes looks to force it through the off-side but once again the ball whizzes past the outside edge of the batsman

15.6 - Afridi to Woakes, 1 run, flatter and quicker just outside off, Woakes was looking to loft it inside-out, can only manage a chip that bounces well short of the man at sweeper, only a single available and Afridi finishes with 4-0-19-2

14.5 - Tanvir to James Vince, 1 run, angled in on middle stump line, Vince uses his wrists to turn it through mid-wicket for another run

14.5 - Tanvir to James Vince, wide, slower ball bumper around off, it was extremely slow as Vince could have probably played three shots before he finally decided to leave it alone, the umpire signals a wide for height

14.4 - Tanvir to Woakes, 1 run, on a good length and on the stumps, Woakes once again gives himself room, drives it to the left of mid-off and the batsmen cross over for a single

14.3 - Tanvir to Woakes, FOUR, smashed! Woakes backs away a little to give himself room, slaps this length delivery just outside off over extra cover, clears the fielder easily and it crashes into the fence in no time

14.2 - Tanvir to Woakes, no run, slower ball that cramps the batsman for room, Woakes can only defend it back down the pitch

14.1 - Tanvir to Woakes, no run, just short of a good length and angled across the left-hander, Woakes punches it straight to backward point off the back foot

13.5 - Shoaib Malik to Woakes, wide, darted down the leg-side, the umpire exercises his arms

13.4 - Shoaib Malik to James Vince, 1 run, kneels down this time around and sweeps this flatter delivery through backward square leg for a single

12.3 - Anwar Ali to S Billings, out Caught by U Akmal!! Wicket number 6 for Pakistan and England don't even have 90 runs on the board. They are struggling to get a partnership going. This was slightly short and angled in on the pads, Billings was looking to slog it away, can only manage a top-edge that balloons over the man at mid-wicket, Umar Akmal backtracks, keeps his eyes on the ball and takes a well-judged catch, tumbles afterwards but manages to hold on. 9.2 - Shoaib Malik to Buttler, no run, first ball for Buttler and he decides to play the reverse sweep. Not such a bright idea when your team is 68/4. He misses it and the ball hits him on the pad, the angle was taking it away from the line of off and that's why there was no real appeal

Jos Buttler, right handed bat, comes to the crease

9.1 - Shoaib Malik to Eoin Morgan, out Bowled!! Malik strikes first ball! Like an action replay of the English skipper's dismissal in the third ODI. Morgan is livid with himself but the Pakistanis are delighted. A flighted delivery on the stumps, Morgan decides to stay back as he was looking to defend with a straight blade, the ball spins away ever so slightly, misses the blade and rattles the stumps. 2.6 - Aamer Yamin to Root, FOUR, fantastic bit of wrist work from Root. Takes a step forward and works this length delivery past mid-on, he got enough power behind it to beat the fielder who dives across to his right but couldn't get any part of the body behind it, hits the fence in no time

2.5 - Aamer Yamin to Root, no run, just short of a good length and on leg, Root works it straight to mid-wicket

2.4 - Aamer Yamin to James Vince, leg byes, 1 run, targetting the pads of the batsman yet again, Vince was backing away a little, fails to connect with his flick and the ball rolls away into the off-side off his pad. There was half-an-appeal from the bowler for an lbw, but the impact was outside the line of leg stump

2.3 - Aamer Yamin to Root, 1 run, angling in on middle and leg, Root nudges it off his hips, gets it through the square leg region for another run

2.2 - Aamer Yamin to Root, no run, taps this length delivery on middle stump line to mid-on

2.1 - Aamer Yamin to Root, FOUR, glorious shot! Root reaches out for this length delivery outside off, drives it right off the middle and gets it to the right of backward point, races away to the fence in a jiffy

Root 4(5) James Vince 5(6) Tanvir 1-0-8-0

1.6 - Tanvir to Root, 1 run, once again Tanvir drifts onto the pads of the batsman, Root clips it through square leg, there's protection in the deep and it will only be a single

1.5 - Tanvir to Root, no run, brilliant stop by Shehzad at backward point. Short and there was enough width on offer for the batsman to cash in, Root stays back and cracks it hard to the right of backward point, where Shehzad dives full length and saves four runs for his team

1.4 - Tanvir to Root, 2 runs, full on middle and leg, Root clips it backward of square leg for another couple of runs

1.3 - Tanvir to James Vince, 1 run, almost a run-out! Vince bunts this length delivery down to mid-on and sets off, Malik runs forward, picks the ball and fires the throw at the non-striker's end. Vince was struggling to make his ground and had that hit, he would have been in trouble. Luckily for Vince, Malik misses

1.2 - Tanvir to James Vince, no run, dropped! It was a difficult chance though. Just short of a good length and outside off, Vince punches it hard back towards the bowler, who hardly had any time to react. He tries to take evasive action as he puts his left hand out, the ball brushes the thumb and rolls away behind the bowler

1.1 - Tanvir to James Vince, 2 runs, targetting the pads yet again, Vince tucks it away off his hips, gets it through square leg and the batsmen have ample time to come back for the second

1.1 - Tanvir to Root, 2 wides, starts off with one well down the leg-side, Root can't tickle it fine and the keeper can only get a hand on it as he dives across to his left, the batsmen take an extra run before the keeper hunts it down

0.1 - Aamer Yamin to Jason Roy, out Lbw!! This is just too good from the debutant. First ball for Pakistan in T20Is and he takes a wicket. Dream start for the 25-year-old. Coming to the ball, it was on a length and jagged back in sharply from outside off, Roy was looking to work it on the on-side, misses it completely and gets caught in the crease in line with middle stump. The umpire took his time before raising his finger. Terrific start for Pakistan. Jason Roy lbw b Aamer Yamin 0(1)

Time to say goodbye now! It's been a long day for all of us here. This is Sidhant Maheshwari, signing off on behalf of Krishna, Bharath, Pratyush Sinha and my co-commentator, Sagar Chawla. Alvida!

That brings us to the end of this long tour. After Pakistan dominated and won the Test series 2-0, England came back strongly under the leadership of Eoin Morgan, winning the ODI series 3-1 and the T20Is 3-0. Their next challenge lies in South Africa, where they will meet the Proteas in the Boxing Day Test. For Pakistan, they will have a little free time before they travel to New Zealand.

Morgan: 'It's really topped off a fantastic tour for us. I thought we didn't deserve to win it tonight, but the guys did extremely well to get us back in the game. Chris Jordan bowled a fantastic super over. Executing your yorkers is easier said than done, but he did a great job at that. When we go into the World T20, we want our players to know how to handle pressure situations. It's not something we focus on, we will down the line (on T20I rankings). It's important that we keep developing our game and everything else will follow.'

Afridi: 'I must give credit to the English team. They played really well in the ODIs and T20Is. We lost an opportunity again. Last 5 overs we didn't bowl well. Shoaib Malik set the example on how to build an innings, all the batsmen should learn from him. England are a world-class team. There are a lot of positives for us to take forward, there are some issues and we will try to iron them out. We have a period off and we will work on the fielding, we will work on the fitness levels. Jordan bowled extremely well, he executed his yorkers to perfection'

Vince: 'It's pleasing to contribute to the win. My first series, so I am happy to do that. It was nice to get the opportunity, there were difficult situations at times but it was good to be a part of it.'

James Vince is the Man of the Series for his 125 runs in the series

Malik: 'I would have been very happy if we would have won the game. I want to congratulate the English team. We tried really hard but we couldn't do it in the end. Tomorrow is a new day, and today it was not our day. I am not that powerful, but I keep working hard about it. The team will sit down and discuss what happened. As a senior player, I am enjoying the responsibility. Since Hafeez is also not bowling, there's extra responsibility on me. I have to bowl well and that's what I do, I try to deliver.'

Shoaib Malik is the Man of the Match for his 54-ball 75

Rizwan's run-a-ball 24 comforted briefly but his departure saw perennially disappointing Umar Akmal walk out only to last 9 balls. Malik then reassured with a welcome fifty and Afridi delighted with big hits before perishing while trying to be too cute. With 10 runs needed off the last over and a well-set Malik at the crease, chase looked on until Malik's 54-ball 75 was halted by a brain-freeze of a shot. Jordan's only conceded 3 runs in his super over and a nervy England got it off Afridi. 3-0 to England who are yet to lose a T20 this year.

With 2 runs needed off 2 balls and with a whitewash at risk, a well-set batsman holes out in the deep. Shoaib Malik just pulled off that. What followed? A one-over eliminator. And a Pakistani loss. Hosts kick-started the way that's now close to being patented. A first-ball four was a false dawn as the two wickets fell in the first over itself - one off a horrid Shehzad shot and the other to a habitual mix-up. 39-year old Rafatullah Mohmand then fizzled for nought and Pakistan slipped to a familiar 11-3 while chasing.

England are ecstatic. Why wouldn't they be? They have pulled off a heist here in Sharjah. A big, big heist. Pakistan had the game won. 3 runs required off 4 balls. They still couldn't do it. And then Jordan bowled one heck of a Super Over. He compensated for the flurry of full tosses bowled in the stipulated match by getting eveything right. The target of 4 was never going to be enough. Kudos to Afridi for not tearing his hair out. England meanwhile complete a 3-0 whitewash.

Ball 5: Afridi to Morgan, 2 runs, that's it. England win. No more drama. Maniacal game. But it's done. The batsmen were madly running for the second. Buttler was struggling. He dives full length but .. the fielder at the stumps fails to gather the ball. It was Anwar Ali. He fails to collect. Buttler was gone for all money. Flat googly just outside off, Morgan makes room and bunts it in front of long-off. And England win

Ball 4: Afridi to Buttler, 1 run, fired in full outside off, Buttler drills it to sweeper cover

Ball 3: Afridi to Buttler, no run, the drama isn't done yet. Changes his stance looking for the reverse sweep, hits it limply to backward point. Straight to the man.

Ball 2: Afridi to Morgan, 1 run, the slider outside off, Morgan pushes it off the back foot down to long-off

Ball 1: Afridi to Morgan, no run, beats him! A googly which pitches outside off and turns away further. Morgan stretches out to cut it away but the ball bounces more and beats the edge

Stuff of dreams. Jordan was handed the ball contrary to what I expected. I thought it would be Woakes. But boy, hasn't he delivered! Restricting the super over to 3. That's godly. Meanwhile, the Pakistanis have trudged out. There's a conference in the middle. Now everyone is dispersing. Tanvir has been charged with MUMSSION IMPOSSIBLE. Buttler and Morgan are walking out calmly. Oh, Tanvir was handed the ball but it's been snatched back from him. The captain has taken it himself. Afridi will bowl the over.

Ball 6: Jordan to Akmal, BOWLED! Timbahhhh! Jordan has won it for England. He must have. Just 4 to get. Akmal moves into position for the scoop. It's another pacy low full toss beating Akmal for pace. Pegs the leg stump back. Akmal b Jordan 1 (3)

Ball 5: Jordan to Akmal, no run, what bowling. Speared in the blockhole, Akmal squeezes it back to the bowler

Ball 4: Jordan to Afridi, leg byes, 1 run, backs away and Jordan follows him with a length ball. Another attempted whack across the line, too late, deflects off the pad beside the pitch

Ball 3: Jordan to Akmal, 1 run, lovely bowling. Pacy low full tosses, this one is wide of off, Akmal drags his swing off the toe-end through mid-wicket

Ball 2: Jordan to Afridi, leg byes, 1 run, misses the blockhole on this occasion and it's a low full toss on the pads, Afridi once again is too late to get his bat across on the slog, misses and the ball rolls away into the on-side off the pad

Ball 1: Jordan to Afridi, no run, he's bowled a goodie. Quick, pacy and in the blockhole following Afridi as he was backing away. Swings but can't connect. Nutmegs him through to the keeper

I need to lie down in a darkened room. Pakistan, how have you managed this? How? Let's move on. They have to bat first now. Who will it be? I can count Afridi in. Maybe Malik? And who will England toss the ball to? Okay, it's Afridi with Umar Akmal. Jordan has the ball in hand.

No direct-hit and it would have not mattered anyway. Tanvir's momentum causes him to crash into Vince who was the man running in from mid-off

19.3 - Woakes to Tanvir, no run, dot ball. Oh this is crazy. Dupes Tanvir with a slower ball, bowled it wide as well. Tanvir was through with his swing and the ball beat him

Just 3 from 4 balls. Surely even Pakistan can't fluff this

18.5 - Jordan to Shoaib Malik, FOUR, this will do. This will do just fine. Full and wide out of Malik's swinging reach, he chases it on one leg (as he had gone down on the back foot too early) and sneaks in an edge which flies away fine of third man

18.4 - Jordan to Shoaib Malik, no run, another very full delivery, Malik goes down on one knee looking to slog the hell out of it. Can't get under it. Jams it off the inside half of the bat towards the bowler

18.3 - Jordan to Tanvir, 1 run, pitched right up, try getting under that! Tanvir squeezes it back down the pitch where Jordan dives and tips it in front of mid-off

Does the third umpire have enough evidence to overrule the soft signal. I think that's what it will come down to. There seems to be some communication through the walkie-talkie now. OUT it is.

Rizwan 24(22) Shoaib Malik 16(19) Moeen Ali 1-0-4-0

7.6 - Moeen Ali to Rizwan, 1 run, sinks low on one knee, the preferred option when you can't quite handle the turning ball, sweeps it behind square

7.5 - Moeen Ali to Rizwan, no run, makes room shaping to cut, the ball follows him like a cobra, cramps him completely, he ends up checking his shot and dropping it at his feet

7.4 - Moeen Ali to Shoaib Malik, 1 run, flatter and turning in comfortably onto the pads, Malik nurdles it round the corner

7.3 - Moeen Ali to Rizwan, 1 run, slightly short, and that allows Rizwan to go deep and nudge it away

7.2 - Moeen Ali to Rizwan, no run, now gets the line right, sharp turn from outside off, beats Rizwan on the push and hits the pad. No appeal as such because it was going down leg

7.2 - Moeen Ali to Rizwan, wide, kicks and turns sharply, pushed through quicker on a length on middle, rips away down leg, Rizwan initially tried to glance but withdrew

7.1 - Moeen Ali to Rizwan, no run, flatter and turning in on off, Rizwan shuffle across and glances it to short fine leg

Moeen Ali, right-arm off break, comes into the attack

Rizwan 22(17) Shoaib Malik 15(18) Adil Rashid 1-0-6-0

6.6 - Adil Rashid to Rizwan, 1 run, preempts the sweep, the length was there to be playing the shot but he ended up getting too low, the ball bounces more and takes a thick top edge which balloons up. Drops short of deep backward square

6.5 - Adil Rashid to Rizwan, no run, more like it from the leggie. Looped up on off, drifts in, pitches and turns prodigiously to beat the edge of Rizwan's front foot prod

6.4 - Adil Rashid to Shoaib Malik, 1 run, sliding on after pitching around off, Malik hangs back and clips it through mid-wicket

6.3 - Adil Rashid to Rizwan, 1 run, he's just not getting it right from the wrists. Another half-tracker, Rizwan swats it to the right of long-on, sliced it and got no power behind the shot

6.2 - Adil Rashid to Shoaib Malik, 1 run, short again, on the stumps, and Malik has missed out. Pulls it hard in the air but didn't get hold of it. Drops short of deep mid-wicket

6.1 - Adil Rashid to Shoaib Malik, 2 runs, drops it short straightaway, wide as well, Malik chases it on the back foot and cuts it behind square, an easy jog back for two before sweeper cover moves across

Adil Rashid, right-arm leg break, comes into the attack

Rizwan 20(14) Shoaib Malik 11(15) Jordan 2-0-20-0

5.6 - Jordan to Rizwan, FOUR, a poor ball to offer with fine leg up. Off-cutter, short enough and turning down leg, Rizwan bends his back knee and swats it away wide of short fine leg

5.5 - Jordan to Rizwan, no run, pitched right up, driven back to the bowler

5.4 - Jordan to Rizwan, FOUR, swivels on the back foot while his front foot was off the ground, it's a back of a length delivery on the hips, Rizwan helps the short-arm jab nicely behind square. Raced off his willow

5.3 - Jordan to Rizwan, FOUR, there's a flash, there's a top edge and the ball skims away fine of third man. He absolutely threw his hands at it and that's what usually happens with a top edge

5.2 - Jordan to Shoaib Malik, 1 run, back of a length delivery just outside off, Malik steers it to the left of backward point and hurtles across

5.1 - Jordan to Rizwan, 1 run, slips in a full toss outside off, a low full toss at that, Rizwan tries to flay a drive but gets it off the very bottom of the bat, the fielder at cover dives across and gets a hand. Rolls away wide enough of him to facilitate a single

Shoaib Malik 10(14) Rizwan 7(9) Woakes 2-0-6-0

4.6 - Woakes to Shoaib Malik, 2 runs, ah, nicely played. On the pads, and Malik flicks it stylishly in the air over mid-wicket. The deep square leg fielder has some ground to cover and the batsmen have enough time for a second

4.5 - Woakes to Rizwan, 1 run, short ball and Rizwan was early to transfer his weight quickly on the back foot, pulls it through the vacant square leg region. There is protection in the deep

4.4 - Woakes to Rizwan, no run, continuously hitting the pitch hard, gently punched back and Woakes makes a half-stop in his followthrough

4.3 - Woakes to Shoaib Malik, 1 run, slips it on the hips, Malik nurdles it round the corner, might have rolled off the thigh pad after the inside edge was found

4.2 - Woakes to Rizwan, 1 run, he is getting some zip which is generally missed by the speedometer. But you can see the way the batsmen are rushed. Short of length and climbs nicely in the channel outside off, Rizwan rises with it and glides it down to third man

4.1 - Woakes to Rizwan, no run, skiddy back of a length delivery, gently nudged to short mid-wicket

Chris Woakes [1.0-0-1-0] is back into the attack

Rizwan 5(5) Shoaib Malik 7(12) Jordan 1-0-6-0

3.6 - Jordan to Rizwan, 1 run, length ball snaking into the pads, Rizwan works it to the right of mid-on. Ali was swooping in trying to intercept from his position at mid-wicket but he doesn't get to it

3.5 - Jordan to Shoaib Malik, 1 run, now a single. Sensible batting. Got the boundary of the over and now dabs one down to third man

3.4 - Jordan to Shoaib Malik, FOUR, backs away while taking a few steps down the pitch, it was there on a length and wide enough to enable a clean swing off the arms, smears it through covers

3.3 - Jordan to Shoaib Malik, no run, another short of length delivery which doesn't bounce as much as the previous one, Malik was on his toes aiming a punch through the cover region, chops it off a thick inside edge and it rolls away teasingly wide of off-stump towards the keeper

3.2 - Jordan to Shoaib Malik, no run, short of length delivery angled into the chest, Malik stands on his toes and drops it down the pitch with soft hands

3.1 - Jordan to Shoaib Malik, no run, swishes his bat furiously to capitalize on the width. Was short as well and Malik didn't hold anything back. Beats the top edge through to the keeper

Chris Jordan, right-arm medium, comes into the attack

Rizwan 4(4) Shoaib Malik 2(7) Willey 2-0-14-2

2.6 - Willey to Rizwan, no run, similar back of a length delivery, Rizwan pats it away in front of cover

2.5 - Willey to Rizwan, no run, on a back of a length in the channel just outside off, punched off the back foot but straight to backward point

2.4 - Willey to Rizwan, no run, full again but not as much as the previous one, Rizwan prods forward and taps it in front of mid-off

2.3 - Willey to Rizwan, FOUR, oh, that's pure timing. His feet were nowhere near the ball. Just the hands. Angled across the right-hander on a fuller length, it's sufficiently wide of off, Rizwan just leans towards the ball and laces the drive through covers with a roll of the wrists to keep it along the turf

Mohammad Rizwan, right handed bat, comes to the crease

2.2 - Willey to Rafatullah Mohmand, out Lbw!! Now where has that pitched? Definitely going on to hit the stumps but the landing is the only question. Is it slightly outside leg? Have to wait for the replays. Rafatullah walked right across his stumps, failed to get any bat on his attempted glance and was struck in line with leg-stump on the knee roll. Oh yes, replays confirm that it is a top call from the umpire. The whole of the ball is pitching on the pseudo-mat. Rafatullah Mohmand lbw b Willey 0(1)

Willey to Rafatullah Mohmand, THAT'S OUT!! Lbw!!

1.6 - Woakes to Shoaib Malik, 1 run, tries to open the off-side by opening his stance, the ball was angling in on a fuller length and takes the inside edge off the attempted drive before rolling away into the leg-side wide of Ali

1.5 - Woakes to Shoaib Malik, no run, dug in short, Malik only had to half-stoop his head to evade

1.4 - Woakes to Shoaib Malik, no run, dishes it up outside off, Malik presses towards the ball and pushes it to cover

1.3 - Woakes to Shoaib Malik, no run, back of a length delivery homing in on the pads, Malik gets an inside edge off an attempted clip, rolls away to mid-wicket

1.2 - Woakes to Shoaib Malik, no run, a similar ball, flicked to the right of mid-wicket where Ali dives to stop. Some more confusion in running. Malik had hurtled halfway down the pitch but is sent back in time

Hafeez 1(1) Rafatullah Mohmand 0(0) Willey 1-0-9-1

0.6 - Willey to Hafeez, out Hafeez Run Out!! 1 run completed. All sorts of craziness is transpiring here. Punched wide of mid-off, lots of hesitation during which Rafatullah had taken a few strides down the pitch, then stopped. But Hafeez kept running for the second. The ball is flung to the non-striker's end where there is no sight of a green shirt anywhere near. When the bails were whipped off, Hafeez hadn't crossed his partner. Hafeez run out (Woakes/James Vince/Eoin Morgan) 1(1)

Willey to Hafeez, THAT'S OUT!! Run Out!!

I'm officially done throwing out cusses. I'm out of words and that rarely happens. Appalling cricket. A run-out has been affected. They are just checking which batsmen is out. Still checking. Hafeez hasn't quite crossed Rafatullah when the bails are taken off at the non-striker's end. So it should be the former making his way back. Yes it is. Hafeez is outta here

0.6 - Willey to Hafeez, wide, is this really happening? It's not club cricket mind you. Back of a length delivery down the leg-side, no chance for Hafeez to get anywhere close

0.6 - Willey to Hafeez, wide, this is even wider, back of a length delivery shaping in but wrong lines

0.6 - Willey to Hafeez, wide, oh my, ridiculous. Another length ball swinging away down leg, Willey is seeing Hafeez as a left-hander for some reason

Mohammad Hafeez, right handed bat, comes to the crease

0.5 - Willey to Ahmed Shehzad, out Bowled!! If you are teaching youngsters on how to play the game, I hope they didn't watch this over. Horrid stuff. Shehzad sees red for some reason and runs down the pitch. Looks to slog a length ball with a mighty swing. Plays for a little more bounce than there actually was and the ball sneaks under the bottom edge to hit the top of middle. Ahmed Shehzad b Willey 4(5) [4s-1]

Willey to Ahmed Shehzad, THAT'S OUT!! Bowled!!

0.4 - Willey to Ahmed Shehzad, no run, full ball with a suggestion on shape back in, Shehzad moves inches forward and punches it to mid-off

0.4 - Willey to Ahmed Shehzad, wide, an intensely rusty start this has been from Willey. Fails to control the swing again which takes it well down leg

0.3 - Willey to Ahmed Shehzad, no run, slanted across on a back of a length, Shehzad stands tall, maintains a firm base and punches it crisply. Not past cover-point

0.2 - Willey to Ahmed Shehzad, no run, swinging into the pads again, gets away this time. Flickes straight to short mid-wicket

0.1 - Willey to Ahmed Shehzad, FOUR, first ball. Stiff body, loose ball. The adjectives for the two words should be interchanged ideally. Length ball with an inkling of swing which takes it on the pads, Shehzad simply tickles it away fine. Just had to beat short fine leg and the ball trickles away

Ahmed Shehzad and Rafatullah Mohmand are at the crease. Ahmed Shehzad is on strike. Willey will open the attack
