Former Pakistan Test batsman Mohammad Yousuf has dismissed suggestions that he was offered the head coach role from the Afghanistan Cricket Board.
Earlier today, reports suggested that Yousuf had agreed to the role of a head coach of the Afghanistan cricket team but now he is denying receiving any such offer.
Afghanistan's head coach post has been vacant since former Pakistan skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq joined his country's cricket board as the chief selector of the national team.
The 41-year-old admitted that his agent had indeed applied for the post, but added that he has not received any offer from the board as of yet.
