Welcome back for the chase. Rohit and Dhawan swing their bats as they stride out. Umpire John Ward is out with his helmet. Looks like Rohit will take strike. He marks his guard, Tait has the new ball in his hands. Two slips waiting for the edge.

He also became the first man to record a ton against India in T20Is. The Indian bowlers too helped his cause by spraying full tosses more often than not. Well! Watson's razzle-dazzle apart, Khawaja and Head failed to convert starts while the rest of the batsmen, barring Lynn, holed out for single digit scores. India's bowling was wayward and so was their fielding. A mammoth task beckons MSD and his men, who have not been under the pump in this T20I series! Be back in about 15 minutes to catch the chase....

Just about a few months ago, Watson might have thought he would never play international cricket again given his poor show in England. Now here he is at SCG making merry of the Indian bowlers - he could (high probability) also be the first person to get on that flight for the World T20 in India. "A hundred that justifies a return and suggests a future," screamed Mark Nicholas on air when Watto notched up his maiden T20I ton. Aptly put by Mark. Although, Watson gobbled 7 balls to get off the mark, he never looked back since his first boundary.

Watson gets a great applause from the crowd as he walks off. Dhawan congratulates him for his wonderful knock.

Watson 124(71) Bancroft 0(0) Bumrah 4-0-43-1

19.6 - Bumrah to Watson, 2 runs, another one that's angled in by Bumrah, Watson squeezes it out to deep square leg

19.5 - Bumrah to Watson, 2 runs, inswinging yorker, dug out to deep mid-wicket, Watson wants two and he charges to the keeper's end, Jadeja fires a bullet throw to Dhoni, but the Indian skipper doesn't collect cleanly as it bounced awkwardly in front of him. Dhoni is in pain and looks like that throw hit him on the right thumb. Hopefully, it's not all that serious

Cameron Bancroft, right handed bat, comes to the crease

19.4 - Bumrah to Chris Lynn, out Caught by Ravindra Jadeja!! Jadeja is such a brilliant fielder. Excellent catch. Deep mid-wicket was open for the previous ball and Lynn could pick up a four, but Dhoni plugged that gap now and he's got a wicket. Actually a good ball, but Lynn did very well to get so much bat on it, yorker angled in at the base of Lynn's boots, he whipped it with a strong bottom hand grip, Jadeja ran to his left, dived and completed the catch. Chris Lynn c Ravindra Jadeja b Bumrah 13(9) [4s-2]

Bumrah to Chris Lynn, THAT'S OUT!! Caught!!

19.3 - Bumrah to Chris Lynn, FOUR, that is a mis-hit, but Lynn is a strong lad and it went for four. Low full toss, Lynn slogged hard, the bat turned in his hands as he made contact with the ball, deep mid-wicket was open and it crashed into the fence

19.2 - Bumrah to Watson, 1 run, low full toss from Bumrah, Watson mistimes the lofted drive to long-off

19.1 - Bumrah to Chris Lynn, leg byes, 1 run, gee! This guy Jasprit Bumrah gets the yorkers right. Right at the base of leg stump, Lynn failed to get bat on ball, hit on the boot, but Bumrah's angle from over the wicket was taking it down the leg-side

Nehra finishes his spell 4-0-32-1

Over: 19 1 1 1 6 1 1 AUS 187/4
Chris Lynn 9(6) Watson 119(68) Nehra 4-0-32-1

18.6 - Nehra to Chris Lynn, 1 run, Chris Lynn can't get under it, very full, almost a yorker, drilled to long-off

18.5 - Nehra to Watson, 1 run, good comeback from Nehra. Widish yorker outside off stump, Watson squeezes it to backward point

18.4 - Nehra to Watson, SIX, okay! Thank you very much! This bloke, batting on 112 won't miss out on these freebies. Nehra missed the yorker by a couple of yards, went as a juicy full ball and Watson lofted that over Raina's head at long-on

18.3 - Nehra to Chris Lynn, 1 run, this should have been put away, probably extra-cover was the right option, but Lynn swings across the line to this full toss and mistimes it along the ground through mid-wicket

18.2 - Nehra to Watson, 1 run, another low full toss, Watson wants to get under it and power it for a maximum, but gets it on the bottom of the bat and it lands well in front of long-on

18.1 - Nehra to Chris Lynn, 1 run, low full toss outside off stump, Lynn inside-edges the drive onto boot, the ball rolls towards cover-point

Ashish Nehra [3.0-0-21-1] is back into the attack

17.6 - Bumrah to Chris Lynn, 1 run, low full toss angling in, Lynn adjusts and whips it to deep mid-wicket

17.5 - Bumrah to Watson, 1 run, excellent yorker, targetting Watson's left boot, dug out to forward short leg

17.4 - Bumrah to Chris Lynn, 1 run, low full toss again, hit hard to extra-cover, the fielder opts not to have a shy at the bowler's end as there was no one backing up

17.3 - Bumrah to Chris Lynn, FOUR, just a fine little tickle and Lynn picks up four. That was a gift from Bumrah and Lynn didn't miss out, fine leg was inside the ring and he had no chance

17.2 - Bumrah to Watson, 1 run, low full toss from Bumrah, Watson drives it down to long-off

17.1 - Bumrah to Watson, no run, full delivery outside off stump, Watson drives it to extra-cover

Chris Lynn, right handed bat, comes to the crease

Head 26(19) Watson 109(62) Ravindra Jadeja 4-0-41-1

16.6 - Ravindra Jadeja to Head, out Bowled!! Oh that's a yorker. Probably the Indian pacers should know how to bowl yorkers from Jadeja! Fired in flat and at the base of the stumps, Head stepped out and yorked himself, but actually the ball was so quick and it only took the toe-end of Head's bat before crashing into the stumps. Head b Ravindra Jadeja 26(19) [4s-1 6s-1]

Ravindra Jadeja to Head, THAT'S OUT!! Bowled!!

16.5 - Ravindra Jadeja to Watson, 1 run, very full from Jadeja, Watson toe-ends the drive to long-on

16.4 - Ravindra Jadeja to Watson, SIX, in the air, Dhawan jumps but it evades him. Jadeja bowls full and in the slot, in the mood, Watson was not going to miss out and picks up another maximum over long-off

16.3 - Ravindra Jadeja to Watson, FOUR, Yuvraj Singh dives but can't prevent the boundary. A hundred for Watson, his first in T20Is. Remember, he's the stand-in skipper tonight and he's leading from the front. Pure power from the all-rounder. Flighted delivery just outside off stump, Watson slogs hard, Yuvraj dives to his left at deep square leg, gets a hand on it but it escapes to the boundary. Watson takes his helmet off, raises his bat and acknowledges the applause from the crowd and his team-mates. He gets a hug from him partner as well

16.2 - Ravindra Jadeja to Watson, 2 runs, tossed up outside off stump, Watson reaches out and slices the drive to sweeper cover

16.1 - Ravindra Jadeja to Watson, SIX, Ravindra Jadeja has not been getting it right in this spell. He's bowled quite a few full tosses and this one has been muscled hard and deep into the deep mid-wicket stand. Is there a bit of dew out there? Is the ball slipping out of Jadeja's hands?

Ashwin ends 4-0-36-1.

Over: 16 1 1 6 0 1 0 AUS 149/3
Head 26(18) Watson 90(57) Ashwin 4-0-36-1

15.6 - Ashwin to Head, no run, oh Head wanted to send that out of the ground, swung really hard at it, but Ashwin bowled this slower through the air and beat the batsman all ends up

15.5 - Ashwin to Watson, 1 run, Watson tries to give the charge and then sweeps it to deep mid-wicket

15.4 - Ashwin to Watson, no run, Watson goes for the sweep, but makes no contact this time, gets hit in line with the stumps, but the ball pitched outside leg

15.3 - Ashwin to Watson, SIX, just a shimmy down the track and that made him get to the pitch of this flighted delivery, he was in a great position to muscle it back over Ashwin's head and it cleared the sightscreen as well. What timing, what power, what balance!

15.2 - Ashwin to Head, 1 run, Head wanted to advance, but he ended up yorking himself up, toe-ends the drive towards extra-cover

15.1 - Ashwin to Watson, 1 run, low full toss from round the wicket, Watson sweeps it to long leg

Over: 15 2 6 1 2 1 1 AUS 140/3
Watson 82(53) Head 25(16) Ravindra Jadeja 3-0-22-0

14.6 - Ravindra Jadeja to Watson, 1 run, another low full toss, Watson slogs hard, along the ground to deep mid-wicket

14.5 - Ravindra Jadeja to Head, 1 run, Head drills this down to long-on

14.4 - Ravindra Jadeja to Head, 2 runs, oh that's a brilliant effort from Pandya. I am sure MS Dhoni would be impressed with that effort from the youngster. Head slogs hard and sends it high in the air, it looked like it was surely a six but Pandya timed his jump to perfection at the deep mid-wicket fence and pushed the ball back just before he landed beyond the rope

14.3 - Ravindra Jadeja to Watson, 1 run, in the air, not timed well again, but Watson's lofted drive goes on the bounce to long-on

14.2 - Ravindra Jadeja to Watson, SIX, full toss again from Ravindra Jadeja, Watson goes high in the air with the slog, not timed well, but it just has enough to clear the deep mid-wicket boundary

14.1 - Ravindra Jadeja to Watson, 2 runs, oh what was Watson doing there? He almost gave up on the second run. Low full toss wide outside off stump, Watson drives it wide extra-cover, Pandya fumbles and it was a late call for the second run from Watto, Dhoni could not collect cleanly because it bounced very close to him and Watson was home

Ravindra Jadeja [2.0-0-9-0] is back into the attack

Over: 14 1 Wd 2 1 2 1 1 AUS 127/3

13.5 - Ashwin to Head, 1 run, spinning away wide of off, Head reaches out for it and cuts it past cover

13.4 - Ashwin to Head, 2 runs, comes down the track and drives this flatter delivery over extra cover

13.3 - Ashwin to Watson, 1 run, full on the leg-stump line, Watson crouches low and sweeps wide of short fine

13.2 - Ashwin to Watson, 2 runs, worked away through mid-wicket and good running takes care of the rest

13.2 - Ashwin to Watson, wide, spinning down leg, Watson let it go

Watson 68(46) Head 18(11) Pandya 2-0-24-0

12.6 - Pandya to Watson, 2 runs, very full and wide of off, Watson drives it over point, Kohli from sweeper runs to his lift and flung an accurate throw to Dhoni, but Watson was well in. A direct hit would have been interesting

12.5 - Pandya to Watson, FOUR, full toss on the stumps, Watson bludgeons it powerfully through mid-wicket, raced away in no time

12.4 - Pandya to Watson, no run, wide yorker well outside off, Watson tries to lay bat on it as he reaches out, can't connect

12.4 - Pandya to Watson, wide, CTRL C + CTRL V of the previous delivery

12.4 - Pandya to Watson, wide, well wide of off, left alone to the keeper

12.3 - Pandya to Watson, FOUR, full and in the swinging arc again, Watson places this uppish drive wide of sweeper cover, VK was a mere spectator there

12.2 - Pandya to Watson, 2 runs, dropped by Kohli! It wasn't that easy though, but still with the current international fielding standards, you are expected to take those. Very full and wide of off, Watson goes for the on-the-up drive and it went flat and straight towards incoming VK who was coming in from sweeper cover. He put in the forward dive and the ball hit him around the wrists, burst through and all VK could do was prevent two runs

12.1 - Pandya to Head, 1 run, an action replay of his previous over. Same line and length and just that fine leg was inside the ring this time, Bumrah moves swiftly to his left to make a sliding stop

Over: 12 2 1 6 4 0 1 AUS 103/3
Head 17(10) Watson 56(41) Yuvraj 2-0-19-1

11.6 - Yuvraj to Head, 1 run, full on middle and leg, Head drills it to long-on. Thought of a second but watching Kohli sprint from long-on, chirps a loud "no" to his partner

11.5 - Yuvraj to Head, no run, pushed to the left of Yuvi who slides and stops

11.4 - Yuvraj to Head, FOUR, shot! Fetched this slower length delivery from outside off stump and dragged the sweep wide of mid-wicket, long-on had no chance, the timing was so good there!

11.3 - Yuvraj to Head, SIX, see you tomorrow stuff! Went down one one knee and got underneath this fullish flighted delivery, sent it high and sailing over the cow-corner fence

11.2 - Yuvraj to Watson, 1 run, pulled away through mid-wicket, only a single this time

11.1 - Yuvraj to Watson, 2 runs, Watson pulled this shortish delivery through mid-wicket and Head was keen on squeezing a double. Watto was ball-watching and was a fraction slow to take off. Jaddu collects and flings it straight to MS who whips the bails off but Watto was inches inside the crease

TV umpire called in for a run out check. Watto is safe though. NOT OUT it will be

Watson 53(39) Head 6(6) Pandya 1-0-9-0

10.6 - Pandya to Watson, 1 run, pitched fuller and wider, Watson stoops low to biff this drive through cover, retains the strike with that run

10.5 - Pandya to Head, 1 run, errs a bit, just a hint of width on offer and that's enough for Head who keeps his head still and late-cuts to the left of Nehra at third man

10.4 - Pandya to Head, no run, much better from Pandya. Kept it tight - stump-to-stump line from a good length and Head could only block it under his eyes

10.3 - Pandya to Watson, 1 run, keeps offering width to Watson who drills the drive to sweeper cover

10.3 - Pandya to Watson, wide, this one's further wide of off, Watson lets it go and deemed as a wide

10.2 - Pandya to Watson, FOUR, follows up with another rank bad delivery. Goes wide of the crease and bowls it short and wide. Watson throws the kitchen sink at it and jeez! That flew off the bat, raced away through point and Watson's fifty comes up too

10.1 - Pandya to Head, 1 run, poor first ball from Pandya! Smidgen fuller and down leg, Head gets some bat on the tickle down to fine leg

9.5 - Yuvraj to Watson, 1 run, flatter on the stumps, Watson hangs back and chops the cut off the inside half through mid-wicket

9.4 - Yuvraj to Watson, no run, shortish and down leg, Watson tried to sweep and missed, the ball rolls away off the thigh pad

9.3 - Yuvraj to Head, 1 run, Head chops the cut to point

9.2 - Yuvraj to Head, 2 runs, flighted delivery outside off, Head pushes it to point and Raina's lazy effort ensured the duo crossover for a double. Watson had to drag his bat at the bowler's end as the throw came in quickly, he was safe any way

Travis Head, left handed bat, comes to the crease

9.1 - Yuvraj to Maxwell, out Caught by Raina!! YUVI YUVI - you little ripper. He gets MAXI again - second time in a row. He is chuffed to bits and he had every reason to be. Bowled a flattish delivery outside off, Maxwell made room and thumped the inside-out drive. Raina at extra cover moved across to his left and took a tumbling catch. Reverse cupped it in front of his face and must say it was a good catch. Maxwell c Raina b Yuvraj 3(5)

8.5 - Ravindra Jadeja to Maxwell, 1 run, arm-ball on middle, whipped along the ground through mid-wicket

8.4 - Ravindra Jadeja to Watson, 1 run, quicker just outside off, eased down to long-off

7.5 - Ashwin to Maxwell, 1 run, tucked to backward square and Maxi is off the mark with a single

Glenn Maxwell, right handed bat, comes to the crease

7.4 - Ashwin to S Marsh, out Bowled!! TIMBAAAH. That made a crunching sound. Marsh was too early into the stroke, he went down on his knees - aiming a slog-sweep maybe. Ashwin kept it fuller and slower through the air on off. Marsh missed and ASH hits the timber. Off-stump goes for a walk as Marsh lost his balance. S Marsh b Ashwin 9(12) [4s-1]

Ashwin to S Marsh, THAT'S OUT!! Bowled!!

7.3 - Ashwin to Watson, 1 run, gets down on one knee and sweeps this flatter delivery behind square leg

7.2 - Ashwin to S Marsh, 1 run, dabbed away towards point

6.4 - Ravindra Jadeja to S Marsh, no run, flatter on the stumps, knocked straight to VK at mid-wicket

6.3 - Ravindra Jadeja to S Marsh, no run, late-cut from Marsh but found backward point

6.2 - Ravindra Jadeja to S Marsh, no run, tad short and quicker on the stumps, Marsh looks to cut, was cramped for room and got an inside edge onto his pad

5.5 - Ashwin to Watson, 3 runs, that's the shot he likes the most. Late-cut, waits on the back foot and executes the stroke to perfection. Nehra and Jaddu do some tag-team work at third man fence to keep Watson down to three

5.4 - Ashwin to Watson, no run, tossed up just outside off, driven to mid-off

5.3 - Ashwin to Watson, FOUR, saw mid-off was inside the ring and took a calculated risk. Danced down the track and went for the lofted drive, got it off the toe-end but managed to clear the fielder at mid-off

5.2 - Ashwin to Watson, no run, low full toss on leg-stump line, Watson knelt down on one knee and timed the sweep, straight to backward square though

4.5 - Nehra to Watson, 1 run, run out chance missed! Watto would have had his heart in his mouth. He can now breathe a sigh of relief as Dhawan missed out on a direct hit. He nails this low full toss to mid-on and took off for a quick single, Dhawan was quick to get to the ball but the throw wasn't accurate at the bowler's end. Watto would have been out had that hit

1.5 - Bumrah to Khawaja, FOUR, whipped away! On the pads. Cannot bowl there to Khawaja, he smacks it off the meat beating Ashwin's dive at square leg

1.4 - Bumrah to Khawaja, FOUR, I've watched this man bat in BBL and let me tell you, he's such a good puller of a cricket ball. Not that short but it was angled into Khawaja who rocks back and dispatches it off his sight - with a pull over mid-wicket, a couple of bounces and into the fence

0.5 - Nehra to Watson, no run, dabbed away sans any timing towards backward point

0.4 - Nehra to Watson, no run, good stuff from Nehra! Kept in the corridor of uncertainty at 135ks, Watson was trying to angle it down to third man, beaten on the outside edge

0.3 - Nehra to Watson, no run, Hardik Pandya - the impressive youngster in action now. Full and in the slot for Watto, he drills the drive and Pandya leaps at short cover to prevent a boundary

0.2 - Nehra to Watson, no run, shortish around fifth stump, cramped Watson for room, ends up chopping it to Jaddu at backward point

0.1 - Nehra to Khawaja, 1 run, and Khawaja is off the mark straightaway. Tad fuller and wider of off, Khawaja square drives behind backward point to get the scorecard rolling

So, what a series this has been! After losing the first four contests of the ODI series, India have come back strongly to win four in a row now. Not sure when was the last time a visiting side was as dominant as India during the entire T20I series. There are a lot of positives for MS Dhoni's men, especially in the bowling department. Australia, on the other hand, are yet to find their right combination. They'll have to do so quickly though as the World T20 is just a little more than a month away. For now, the hosts will travel to New Zealand to take part in a 3-match ODI series, that will be followed by a 2-match Test series as well. On the other hand, India will next play Sri Lanka in a 3-match T20I series at home.

Dhoni collects the trophy and his team-mates also join him in celebrations. They all look extremely delighted while posing for the shutterbugs. The Indians then go for a walk around the ground to thank their supporters

Dhoni: I think I will give a lot of credit to the bowlers. The batsmen were doing well in the ODI series as well. I think that's what has changed after the 4th ODI. The batsmen too have notched up 10 percent more, but the bowlers are the ones, who have done a fantastic job in this series. If everything goes well, this will be our side for the World T20. Maybe 2-3 changes because the conditions will be a little different in India. But mostly, it will almost stay the same for the World T20. We need those part timers, Yuvraj, Pandya and Raina. They give you the extra option with the ball and that gives us more depth as a side. Both (Kohli and Rohit) of them are playing really well and it's important for them to enjoy their cricket at the moment. There are times when you won't score many runs, it's bound to happen to everyone and that's why it's important for them to score as many as possible when they are in such good form.

Watson: They're no doubt special (talking about the Indian batting). They showed it in the ODI series and now in the T20Is as well. They have got some really great world-class players, it's always difficult to beat them. I am just loving every minute of playing for Australia. I feel privileged to captain my country. It can be hectic at times, but it has been a lot of fun. I do enjoy batting at the top of the order. Initially, I could play well and then I took the momentum forward. Once we really solidify our combination for the World T20, we have got some world-class players as well, we should have a very successful tournament. We just need to get our team right.

Shane Watson is the Man of the Match

Kohli: It feels really special right now. We wanted to finish the tour on 4-4 and I am really happy with the way we finished the game. The credit goes to the whole team, everyone has played well. I was pretty disappointed when I got out because I wanted to finish the game today. It was great to see Yuvi and Raina finishing it for us, great to see them both performing like that and winning it for us. I have always said this before as well, I am a big fan of Rohit's batting. Everything is just so easy for him, he deserves a lot of credit, along with Shikhar Dhawan as well. I would like to think so (on being the favourites to win the World T20). We have a few more games before the World T20 and we would like to keep doing better.

Virat Kohli is the Man of the Series

What a magnificent end to the series for India! Considering they needed 17 runs off the final over, the pressure was on both Raina and Yuvi, who was batting for the first time in the series. And well, they have delivered. He smashed the first two balls for a four and six in the final over to bring the equation down to 7 needed from 4 balls. In the end, it was Raina, who hit the winning runs and finished with a 25-ball 49. Earlier, Rohit and Dhawan got India off to a rollicking start and the visitors raced away to 74/1 at the end of the powerplay. Kohli started where from he left off, notching up yet another fifty to make it three in a row this series. Even though both Rohit and Kohli got out soon after reaching their fifties, Raina and Yuvi held their nerves to take their team home. All those jokes about Yuvraj Singh not performing were also put to bed with those two glorious strikes in the final over. With this 3-0 series win, India have jumped from 8th position to the top of the ICC T20I rankings! This is also the second highest successful run-chase in a T20I against Australia. Stay tuned for the presentation.

Raina 49(25) Yuvraj 15(12) Andrew Tye 4-0-51-0

19.6 - Andrew Tye to Raina, FOUR, India win by 7 wickets! Raina punches the air in delight and the Indian players run onto the field to greet the two batters. India make a clean sweep! For the first time, they have done so in Australia. Yuvraj lifts Raina on his shoulder in ecstasy. Brilliantly done by these two in the end. Coming to the ball, this was short and angled away outside off, Raina waits for the ball to arrive before lifting it away over backward point, races away to the fence in a jiffy and that gets the crowd going as well

India need 2 runs in 1 ball. Fasten your seat belts folks! Watson is having a chat with his bowler. Yuvi and Raina too have a chat. Who will win? Or will there be a Super Over? Let's find out. All the fielders are inside the ring on the off-side except third man

19.5 - Andrew Tye to Raina, 2 runs, full toss on the pads, Raina clips it past a diving backward square leg, another couple of runs added before the fielder in the deep cuts it off. Raina thought that it was a boundary and that's why he was a little late to take off. Yuve thought about the third run but Raina was struggling, had to decide against it

19.4 - Andrew Tye to Raina, 2 runs, very full and on leg stump line, Raina clips it through backward square leg, good running ensures that the batsmen come back for the second

6 needed from 3 balls

19.3 - Andrew Tye to Yuvraj, byes, 1 run, length delivery down the leg-side, was the slower ball. Was very close to a wide as Yuvi fails to glance it fine, Raina does extremely well to charge through for a bye, had to put in the dive before the keeper underarmed the throw

19.2 - Andrew Tye to Yuvraj, SIX, what a shot! That's vintage Yuvraj. Tye is under tremendous pressure now. Full and right in the slot, Yuvi sits deep inside the crease and hoicks it right off the screws, smashes it over the deep mid-wicket fence for a maximum

19.1 - Andrew Tye to Yuvraj, FOUR, take that! India need more of this. Length delivery on the pads and Yuvi doesn't miss out this time, he flicks it over short fine leg and the ball goes for a one-bounce four

India need 17 runs in 6 balls. All three results are possible at this stage, but Australia definitely hold the advantage.

Yuvraj 5(9) Raina 41(22) Watson 4-0-30-1

18.6 - Watson to Yuvraj, 1 run, brilliant over from Watson! Yorker length delivery just outside off, Yuvraj can only squirt it in front of backward point, crosses over and he'll be on strike next over as well

18.5 - Watson to Yuvraj, 2 runs, another good delivery from Watson, right in the blockhole around off, Yuvraj goes across and tries to hoick it big on the on-side, ends up toe-ending it in the gap between deep square leg and deep mid-wicket, comes back for the second

18.4 - Watson to Yuvraj, no run, Watson bowls this slightly wide outside off, was a full toss and Yuvi swings hard but can't get any bat on it, another dot

18.3 - Watson to Raina, 1 run, slightly short and outside off, Raina doesn't time the pull well, drags it down to long-on and it will only result in another run. Good first three balls from Watson and the pressure is back on the Indians, especially Yuvi

18.2 - Watson to Yuvraj, 1 run, steps out and almost yorks himself, manages to get some bat on the flick as it goes uppishly through the mid-wicket region, only a single before the fielder in the deep tidies up

18.1 - Watson to Yuvraj, no run, slower short ball angled across the left-hander, Yuvraj swings hard as he looks to pull it away, was beaten by the lack of pace and the keeper collects. Yuvi thought that it was a little too high and was looking for a wide call, the umpire though just signals one bouncer for the over

22 needed from 12 balls. Can Raina and Yuvi take India home? Raina has done his part, but Yuvi needs to chip in

Raina 40(21) Yuvraj 1(4) Andrew Tye 3-0-33-0

17.6 - Andrew Tye to Raina, FOUR, make it two in a row now. That was just too good from Raina. Steps across and then laps this slower length delivery very fine, this time he gets it to the left of short fine leg and it crashes into the fence in a jiffy

17.5 - Andrew Tye to Raina, FOUR, slower full ball outside off, Raina backs away and tries to lift it over cover, ends up getting a thick outside edge and it flies past the diving keeper, lucky runs but India won't mind it one bit. A much-needed boundary for them

17.4 - Andrew Tye to Raina, 2 runs, Raina once again moves across and pulls this shortish delivery to the right of short fine leg, didn't get it off the middle as the batsmen take another brace before deep square leg gets around

17.3 - Andrew Tye to Raina, no run, high full toss outside off, Raina missed out on a freebie there, swings hard but fails to connect at all

17.2 - Andrew Tye to Raina, 2 runs, slightly short and on the stumps, Raina swipes across the line after going across, didn't get it off the middle but it's good enough for a couple as it dribbles away through backward square leg

17.1 - Andrew Tye to Raina, no run, starts off with one in the blockhole, Raina jams it out back to the bowler

Andrew Tye [2.0-0-21-0] is back into the attack

India need 34 runs in 18 balls. The run-rate is over 11 now. All eyes on Raina and Yuvi now. Dhoni, meanwhile, is warming up a little with a dumbbell in his hand

Over: 17 4 1 1 0 Wd 1 0 IND 164/3
Yuvraj 1(4) Raina 28(15) Watson 3-0-25-1

16.6 - Watson to Yuvraj, no run, Yuvi is finding it a little difficult at the moment. Goes right across his stumps to this slower length ball and wanted to lap it past short fine, doesn't connect and the ball drops on the pitch off the thigh pad, he then thinks about sneaking in a leg bye but Raina rightly sends him back. Watson was quick to run forward and it has been a good comeback from him after being dispatched to the fence on the first ball of this over

16.5 - Watson to Raina, 1 run, low full toss outside off, Raina clears his front leg as he wanted to slog this over mid-wicket, drags it off the inner half to deep mid-wicket, just a single taken

16.5 - Watson to Raina, wide, slower short ball but it's a little too high outside off, Raina lets it go and the umpire signals a wide

16.4 - Watson to Raina, no run, what are they appealing for? Yorker length delivery slightly wide outside off, Raina tries to squeeze it out after reaching out, wanted to place it between short third man and backward point, the ball takes some part of the blade but went straight onto the ground, before bouncing up for the keeper

16.3 - Watson to Yuvraj, 1 run, angling away slightly wide outside off, Yuvraj slashes hard at that, chops it in front of point and the batsmen scamper across for a single

16.2 - Watson to Raina, 1 run, low full toss just outside off, Raina gently clips it through mid-wicket, thinks about the second run but Yuvi wasn't up for it

16.1 - Watson to Raina, FOUR, banged in short and on the stumps, Raina goes across and pulls it to the right of short fine leg, placed it to perfection by rolling his wrists over it, sends it along the carpet to the fence. Not a good start to the spell for Watto

Shane Watson [2.0-0-17-1] is back into the attack

Yuvraj 0(2) Raina 22(11) Andrew Tye 2-0-21-0

15.6 - Andrew Tye to Yuvraj, no run, lovely ball from Tye! Short of length delivery angled across the left-hander, Yuvraj was in two minds whether to go hard at it or defend, ends up playing all around it and gets beaten on the outside edge. There was a little noise as the ball went past the bat, but there was no real appeal from the Australians. Only the keeper asked the question, that too half-heartedly

15.5 - Andrew Tye to Raina, 1 run, Raina takes a step forward and Tye follows him with a slightly high full toss, Raina bunts it through the mid-wicket region and gets off strike

15.4 - Andrew Tye to Raina, 2 runs, slower ball outside off, Raina waits for the ball to arrive and then dabs it late in the gap between short third man and backward point, who dives across to his right but can't stop it, the batsmen take two before the ball is chased down

15.3 - Andrew Tye to Raina, FOUR, you can't bowl there to Raina. Length delivery down the leg-side, Raina just had to get some bat on it, manages to tickle it fine and gets it to the right of the keeper, races away to the fence

15.2 - Andrew Tye to Raina, no run, yorker length delivery just outside off, Raina comes down the track as he wanted to go big on the off-side, gets an outside edge that rolls away to the left of the keeper, who does well to dive across and make the stop. Yuvi was halfway down the crease in search of a run but has to rush back

15.1 - Andrew Tye to Raina, 2 runs, full toss speared in on the pads, Raina gently turns it through mid-wicket, good running ensures that the batsmen come back for the second before the fielder in the deep gets to it

Yuvraj Singh, left handed bat, comes to the crease

14.5 - Boyce to Kohli, out Bowled!! Heartbreak for the Indians. Kohli departs in a rather unlucky fashion. He came down the track once again but this time he yorked himself, ends up squirting it onto the pads off the inside edge and the ball rolls back onto the stumps. Kohli thought he might get stumped as he then dived back inside the crease, but he is out bowled. Walks back shaking his head. Another good knock from him, this time it does come to an end though. Kohli b Boyce 50(36) [4s-2 6s-1]

Boyce to Kohli, THAT'S OUT!! Bowled!!

14.4 - Boyce to Kohli, 2 runs, third fifty in a row for Kohli! Steps out of the crease to reach the pitch of the ball, drives it inside-out wide of long-off, who runs to his left and puts in the dive near the rope to save two runs for his side

14.3 - Boyce to Kohli, 2 runs, Kohli advances and Boyce follows him with a mighty full ball, Kohli squirts it in front of long-on, he wasn't sure for the second but Raina makes him go through with it, gets it comfortably in the end

14.2 - Boyce to Kohli, no run, full toss from Boyce, Kohli would feel that he missed out on a freebie as he drives it straight to extra cover

14.1 - Boyce to Kohli, FOUR, that's been smacked! Marginally short on the stumps, Kohli jumps inside the crease to shorten the length further, clears his front leg and smashes the pull over mid-wicket for a one-bounce four

13.5 - Tait to Raina, FOUR, short ball down the leg-side, Raina shuffles across and then flicks it very fine, beats the man in the deep to his left, runs away to the fence

13.4 - Tait to Kohli, 1 run, pitched up outside off, Kohli times the drive really well but picks out sweeper in the deep, just a single available

13.3 - Tait to Kohli, no run, Kohli steps out to give himself some room but Tait follows him with a yorker length delivery, the batsman can only dig it out in front of the bowler

13.2 - Tait to Raina, 1 run, full delivery on leg stump, Raina goes across his stumps and wrists it through mid-wicket to get off strike

13.1 - Tait to Kohli, 1 run, Kohli backs away a touch and Tait follows him with a full ball, Kohli looks to force it into the off-side, gets an inside edge that rolls away through square leg

12.5 - Boyce to Raina, no run, stumping chance missed! This is a big moment in the game. Raina once again dances down the track as he wanted to lift it inside-out over extra cover, the ball beats him in the flight, spins past the inside edge and Bancroft makes a mess of the grab, doesn't gather it cleanly and that allows Raina to pounce back inside the crease

12.4 - Boyce to Raina, no run, Raina advances and Boyce bowls it well wide of off, Raina reaches out and takes it on the full, drives it straight to extra cover

Suresh Raina, left handed bat, comes to the crease

12.3 - Boyce to Rohit, out Caught by Watson!! How big is this wicket going to be? Boyce has been good so far and he has now been rewarded for his hard work. 3.2 - Watson to Dhawan, out Caught by Bancroft!! Now that is a strong comeback by Watson after being hit for four first ball. What's more, he's removed the dangerous looking Dhawan. Mind you, he scored an unbeaten hundred earlier as well. Short of a length delivery on the off stump, credit to Watson for cramping Dhawan for room on seeing him advance, Dhawan tried to run it down to third man, but he only managed to edge it to the keeper. First international catch for Bancroft and that'll make him feel good. Dhawan looks angry with himself as he walks back. Tells himself that he should have played that over cover on that occasion. Dhawan c Bancroft b Watson 26(9) [4s-4 6s-1]

Watson to Dhawan, THAT'S OUT!! Caught!!

3.1 - Watson to Dhawan, FOUR, gee! This guy, Shikhar Dhawan, is looking in great touch! Short of a length delivery outside off stump, Dhawan waits for the ball to come and cuts late off the back foot, beats backward point and there was no one in the deep

Shane Watson, right-arm fast medium, comes into the attack

Over: 3 2 Wd 3 Wd 4 6 4 3 IND 42/0
Dhawan 22(7) Rohit 16(11) Tait 2-0-31-0

2.6 - Tait to Dhawan, 3 runs, and again, this time he overpitches and Tye's effort saves Australia a run. 24 off the over. Full and outside off stump, Dhawan leans forward and drives through extra-cover. That was just the over Dhawan and India wanted chasing a big total

2.5 - Tait to Dhawan, FOUR, and the carnage continues! So inconsistent is Tait and it's very tough for a captain to set a field. Short and outside off stump this time, mind you, Dhawan is strong back foot player and he loves it square on the off-side, cut away over backward point for four

2.4 - Tait to Dhawan, SIX, stunning hit! So much bottom hand on it and Tait's extra pace helped him there as well. Fullish delivery on the leg stump, Dhawan whips it nicely over the infield and it's good enough to clear the backward square leg boundary. India are off to a flier

2.3 - Tait to Dhawan, FOUR, overpitched and punished. Tait offers one full and in the slot, Dhawan goes to the safest zone, straight down the ground and it runs away for four

2.3 - Tait to Dhawan, wide, short delivery down the leg-side, Dhawan tries to help it on its way, but misses. Australia appeal for caught behind, but umpire John Ward was not fooled by the shout, rightly called that as a wide

2.2 - Tait to Rohit, 3 runs, big gap between mid-on and mid-wicket and Rohit flicks it easily through the gap as Tait bowls one one the pads, Tye hunts it down

2.2 - Tait to Rohit, wide, oh that's a real test for debutant Bancroft. Short and way past the leg stump, the keeper dives full length to his left and saves four runs

2.1 - Tait to Rohit, 2 runs, shortish delivery on the off stump, hurried Rohit on the pull, played on one leg, the ball goes to deep backward square leg

Over: 2 1 4 1 0 4 1 IND 18/0
Rohit 11(9) Dhawan 5(3) Boland 1-0-11-0

1.6 - Boland to Rohit, 1 run, short of length delivery on the off stump, Rohit swings across the line, got it on the inside half of the bat, the fielder at deep mid-wicket ran to his right and prevented the boundary

1.5 - Boland to Rohit, FOUR, wow! That is a classy hit from Rohit Sharma. Short of a length delivery outside off stump, Rohit made room by going leg-side, the length was perfect for him to slap it over cover and it went one-bounce into the fence

1.4 - Boland to Rohit, no run, short of length delivery outside off stump, Rohit mistimes the back foot punch towards cover

1.3 - Boland to Dhawan, 1 run, very full delivery from Boland, Dhawan advances and drives square of the wicket on the off-side, Lynn moves to his left at point and stops the ball. Can't prevent the single though

1.2 - Boland to Dhawan, FOUR, shot sir! Short of a length delivery from round the wicket, Dhawan rocks back and cuts late, he waited for the ball to come and placed it perfectly past backward point

1.1 - Boland to Rohit, 1 run, short of length delivery on the stumps, Rohit works it through square leg

Scott Boland, right-arm fast medium, comes into the attack

Over: 1 0 0 4 Wd 0 Wd 1 0 IND 7/0
Dhawan 0(1) Rohit 5(5) Tait 1-0-7-0

0.6 - Tait to Dhawan, no run, Dhawan hits one from the middle of the bat straightaway. That must make him feel very good. Full and outside off stump, Dhawan drives well, but hits it straight to mid-off

0.5 - Tait to Rohit, 1 run, short of length delivery outside off stump, Rohit stands tall and dabs it down to third man

0.5 - Tait to Rohit, wide, this is Shaun Tait for you! He bowls a couple of good balls and suddenly starts spraying it around. Another one down the leg-side

0.4 - Tait to Rohit, no run, very full and on the off stump, Rohit drives well, but the ball hits the stumps at the other end. That would have been a boundary

0.4 - Tait to Rohit, wide, get your radar right, Shaun Tait. This is down the leg-side, easy call for the umpire

0.3 - Tait to Rohit, FOUR, crunchy drive and what a shot to open the account. I must say that I am disappointed with Tait for experimenting. He bowled two perfect outswingers, he got greedy and tried the inswinger this time, lost control and offered a freebie ball full and outside off stump, Rohit was obviously not going to miss out and out came the cover drive

0.2 - Tait to Rohit, no run, this is very full and outside off stump, Rohit drives it towards cover-point

0.1 - Tait to Rohit, no run, excellent start from Tait. 144kph outswinging yorker on the off stump, Rohit digs it out

Rohit and Dhawan are at the crease. Rohit is on strike. Tait will open the attack
