Former Pakistani player Saqlain Mushtaq has been appointed by England to be their spin bowling consultant.
Saqlain was in talks with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) over a short-term deal to cover Pakistan's visit, which begins in July.

The 39-year-old has taken 208 wickets in 49 Tests and is now set to work with the likes of Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid to improve England's frontline spin options.
He has previously donned the role of spin bowling consultant with Bangladesh, New Zealand and West Indies.
