RCB's Adam Milne ruled out of IPL

New Zealand and Royal Challengers Bangalore fast bowler Adam Milne has been ruled out of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) after suffering a hamstring injury.

The 24-year-pacer was absent during the team's practice session and has reportedly flown back to New Zealand. Milne joins fellow pacer Mitchell Starc and Samuel Badree on the list of injured players for RCB.

Milne played only one game for RCB in this edition of the IPL. Milne featured in the team’s opening match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 12, but was left out of the team's subsequent matches after conceding 43 runs in his four-over spell.

Milne and injury have gone hand in hand as he missed the 2015 edition of the IPL as well after suffering an injury to his heel during the ICC Cricket World Cup, 2015.

With Milne gone, RCB’s already weak bowling attack has got even weaker. An announcement for the replacement of Milne is expected soon.
