Herbie Collins was an Australian captain who led the team in the 1920s.
One controversy which always brought his name up: did he lose the 1926 Oval Test deliberately (accused by Hunter Hendry)?
A year or so earlier, though, when a bookmaker approached him,he called Arthur Mailey and they threw him out of the hotel!
