Virat Kohli, the latest batting icon from India, was today rewarded for his stupendous performance in the T20 internationals as he replaced Aaron Finch as the top-ranked batsman in the ICC T20 rankings.

According to the latest list released by the ICC, Kohli who had scored 82 not out against Australia in their World T20 match, gained 68 rating points lead over Finch.

Virat Kohli gained the number one spot thanks to his incredible performances in the World T20. Kohli, the 27-year-old maestro has scored 184 runs in four innings with two half-centuries in the ICC World T20 so far. He now tops the list with 871 points, followed by Aaron Finch with 803 points.

Virat Kohli is the only Indian in the ICC Top 10 rankings for T20I.

West Indies's Samuel Badree tops the bowlers list in T20 with 753 points, followed by Imran Tahir who has 740 points.
