Tamim Iqbal sustains fracture on finger

Bangladesh batsman Tamim Iqbal has fractured his ring finger on his left hand and will be out of cricket for 2-3 weeks.

The injury occurred while Tamim was fielding during a team practice.

BCB's chief physician Debashish Chowdhury said,

He has fractured his ring finger during catching practice. The good thing is that the fracture did not spread and is in one place. We are hopeful for him to recover within two to three weeks.

Tamim has been deemed to be fit in time for England’s tour of Bangladesh in October.
