India have called up Dinesh Karthik to replace injured Manish Pandey in the Champions Trophy.
Pandey, who is currently playing for Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL, has been ruled out due to a side strain. He will miss the Qualifier 2 as well.
Dinesh Karthik has been rewarded a play in the squad due to his excellent form in the domestic circuit.
He was a part of the winning Indian team during the 2013 Champions Trophy as well. He last played international cricket in 2014.
The Champions Trophy begins on 1st June 2017.
