Australian squad for ICC Champions Trophy 2017 announced

KKR star Chris Lynn and SRH’s Moises Henriques have been selected in the Australian squad.

Steve Smith will lead the Australian side with David Warner as a vice- captain. Also, KXIP captain Glen Maxwell finds his place in the squad.

Surprisingly, all-rounder James Faulkner has been dropped from the side.

Fast bowler James Pattinson will join Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins in the pace-heavy Australian side.

We have selected a very exciting well balanced squad that will give us plenty of options with both batting and bowling, depending on the conditions.

 

 

Those players that are in Australia will depart for England on May 18 with the remaining players in the IPL to join as their teams finish in the tournament.
