Bangladesh bowlers Taskin Ahmed and Arafat Sunny have been cleared to bowl in international cricket and can return to bowling with immediate effect.

Both bowlers were reported for illegal actions in the T20 World Cup 2016 and had their actions reassessed at the National Cricket Centre in Brisbane on September 8. 

Their elbow extensions for all deliveries were found to be within 15 degrees, which is the upper limit according to ICC regulations

ICC stated,

“

The umpires are free to report Arafat and Taskin in the future if they believe they use a suspect action.

”

Taskin will now be added to the Bangladesh squad for their series against Afghanistan while Sunny will focus on getting back in the domestic circuit.

After Bangladesh’s series against Afghanistan, they will take on England who are visiting for three ODIs and Two tests.
