Mustafizur Rahman to miss rest of Sussex season

Mustafizur Rahman has suffered an injury to his shoulder and will not be able to play the next few games for Sussex.

The 20-year-old Bangladesh left-armer was signed by Sussex to play in the Natwest T20 Blast and Royal London One-Day Cup.

He took 4 for 23 in his debut fixture against Essex, which Sussex won.

Sussex announced in a statement,

Under the direction of the Bangladesh Cricket Board, (he) is due to have a scan this week to ascertain whether or not he will be fit enough to play in any knockout matches should Sussex qualify for the latter stages of either competition. It is hoped that there is a possibility of him returning to Hove in the future.
