Mohammed Shami to miss limited-overs series against England

India's pace spearhead Mohammed Shami will miss the ODI and T20 series against England early next year due to his right-knee injury.

He got hurt during the 3rd Test against England and was forced to pull out of the Test series.

The 26-year-old pacer had suffered a left-knee injury in the past and is now recovering from an injury to his right knee which is still sore.

It is learnt that Shami's place in the ODI team could go to Ishant Sharma.

While Sharma's place is most probable in the squad, Ashish Nehra is also in contention.
