Australian batsman Chris Lynn will undergo shoulder surgery, which will keep him out of the game till the end of 2017. 

Chris Lynn has been having problems with his left shoulder for the past few years. He injured himself during the IPL, which caused him to miss quite a few games. 

Due to the injury, he missed being a part of the Australia squad for the Champions Trophy. 

Lynn said,

“

I have been battling through each tournament and umming and arr-ing at training but the time has come to get it done. I was getting sorer and sorer after training. I am pretty confident I will be back for the Big Bash.

”

Australia are currently battling a pay dispute with Cricket Australia. The MOU between the players and the board has ended and at the moment, all the Australia cricketers are unemployed.
