Amla and de Kock stride out. Bhuvi will open the bowling with two slips. Will he get some swing? All set for the first ball, here we go!
Welcome back for the run chase. India would probably want to take confidence from the fact that they have never lost an ODI at this venue. On the other hand, the pitch isn't that difficult to bat on and South Africa should fancy their chances. Let's hope that we have a very good second half.
Rahane: "I really enjoyed batting here. The wicket was spongy, so I took my time and played my shots. I am enjoying batting up the order, but it's a team sport, so I am happy to do whatever the team wants. The wicket is slightly slow, it wasn't turning a lot, we were looking score around 260. I think we've got a decent total. We need to bowl well now, the first 10 overs will be crucial."
It was a fine bowling performance from South Africa. There was a bit of help from the wicket and they hit the right areas. All their strike bowlers were among the wickets, with Steyn being the pick with 3/49. The target doesn't look daunting and they should feel they have the chance to go 2-0 up in the series. Join us in a short while for the run chase...
Rahane continued and composed a fifty, his third consecutive fifty against South Africa. But he was bowled round the legs after reaching the landmark. Raina was undone by the short ball strategy. Dhoni was running out of partners at the other end, but Harbhajan stuck it out to add 56 runs for 8th wicket. Dhoni farmed the strike when just one wicket was left in the tank. He made sure that India batted the 50 overs and also took them to a respectable total.
If not for Dhoni, the final total would have been much worse for India. The captain has answered his critics with this knock. The hosts opted to bat on a wicket that was flat. The in-form batsman Rohit Sharma was castled in the very second over. Dhawan and Rahane saw that no further wickets were lost in the first 10 overs. However, Dhawan fell once again after getting a start. A mix-up between Rahane and Kohli brought about the downfall of the latter.
It was another top last over from Rabada. He has had the better of Dhoni in both the games, conceded only 5 runs in the last game and only six in this game. India recovered well and they scored 72 runs in the last 8 overs.

M Morkel to Raina, out Caught by de Kock!! This is ugly cricket from Suresh Raina, surely he's got to find a way to tackle the short ball. The umpire has asked him to wait to check the no-ball. That looks tight, but looks like Morne has got just something behind the line. Raina has to go. This was banged in short around leg stump line, Raina was never comfortable to that line and even played and missed on a couple of occasions earlier in the over. This time he hops, tries to glance and gets a glove, the keeper dives forward and takes an easy catch. Umpire Aleem Dar didn't take long to put the finger up. So it's a 5-ball duck for Raina. Tahir to Rahane, out Bowled!! This is a classical leg-spinner's dismissal. Rahane can't believe that he's been bowled round his legs. He asked the umpires and they sent it upstairs to check if it came off the keeper, but the side angle quite clearly showed that the ball clipped the leg stump. Flighted delivery pitching outside leg, Rahane was slightly across his stumps as he was down on his knee to paddle-sweep, the ball hit the rough patch near the crease and turns, sneaks past the bat and the pad to hit the leg stump. India are in deep trouble at 102/4. Rahane b Tahir 51(63) [4s-6]

Steyn to Rahane, out Kohli Run Out!! 1 run completed. That's very sloppy from India and Kohli leaves the ground fuming. A lot happened there on this delivery. First, Rahane was early into the chip - off a length delivery from Steyn. It went in the air and to the right of Behardien at mid-off. He dived full length, got both hands but failed to hold on. The batsmen sprinted across for a single, Behardien gave the chase and threw the ball back at the bowler's end, Kohli was racing back for the second run, Rahane didn't realize that his partner was haring back, tries to send him back. This is a fine come-from-behind win for India, with both bat and ball. At 124/6, not many thought India would cross 200, but MS Dhoni's brilliance and a bit of resistance from the lower-order helped them get to a competitive total. With the ball, the bowlers came back well after South Africa were placed comfortably and ensured that MS Dhoni's 100th ODI at home went in India's favour. That concludes proceedings then. The series is level at 1-1. Both teams travel to Rajkot for the third ODI. Join us back on Sunday for all the action. Goodbye!
(2/2): "I wouldn't say the game was in our hands. We had a good chance of winning this game if the bowlers bowled in the right areas and the bowlers did that. You always try to play well for your country. It doesn't always go your way. The top-order has done the major work for us in the last two years or so, the middle-order hasn't had much of a chance to bat. We do crib about the fact that we are not really good when it comes to going in and attacking straightaway. Only Suresh Raina does that and we need to improve in that aspect. Overall, as a team, we have done well. I think the pace of the spinners was very crucial on this wicket. Both Axar and Bhajji bowled well. They varied the pace, the spinners did a very good job."
MS Dhoni (1/2): "It's not an easy game that we played. A lot of people wait with open swords, they want you to commit mistakes and have fun with it. It was a good game for us. There were quite a few soft dismissals. We should have got more with the bat. The fast bowlers didn't start well, but the spinners gave us the breakthroughs and later on the fast bowlers came into action and picked up important wickets. I would say we can play a lot better, but it's good to win games. We are not playing to our capacity, we are not even playing to 80 percent of our potential. We knew that we needed two good deliveries (to get the last two wickets) and a bit of luck with it as well."
MS Dhoni is the Man of the Match
AB de Villiers: "It was a great experience here, it is one of the best crowds that I have played in front of. A poor batting performance from us. We couldn't extend that partnership between Faf and JP. A lot of credit should go to MS and his team. I don't think they had their best day with the bat in hand, but they fought till the end. We didn't execute well with the bat. The bowlers bowled well, unfortunately we couldn't get MS early. I should be fine for the next game, just a little strain on the lower back, so it's not serious."
All of a sudden, from 134/2, they slumped to 142/5. AB de Villiers batted positively, but Kohli took a blinder to remove him. That wicket lifted the mood of the Indian team and the bowlers struck at regular intervals to keep South Africa at bay. Kagiso Rabada and Imran Tahir shared a handy little stand for the 9th wicket, but Bhuvneshwar Kumar got two wickets in his 9th over to seal the contest for India. Bhuvi and Axar were the pick of the bowlers as they bagged three wickets apiece, while Harbhajan Singh too was good enough to take two wickets. It has to be said that Kohli too made a big contribution on the field by taking three catches, of which two were excellent takes.
When South Africa were off to a quick start, it appeared as if it would be a cakewalk for them, but the Indian bowlers, with the help of some excellent fielding, came back strongly and put the visitors under immense pressure. Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock threw their wickets away, before Faf du Plessis and JP Duminy shared a fifty partnership to steady the Proteas. However, both were dismissed in quick succession by Axar Patel and that transferred the pressure back on the visiting team.
Harbhajan: "Very happy with the way things have gone for me and the team. Dhoni was fantastic with his captaincy. The wicket was nice to bat on, so I was looking to bowl slower through the air. Overall, pretty happy with the way things went. Axar Patel bowled well and got crucial wickets. That got us back into the game. We were 30 runs short. What Dhoni told in the huddle is, we didn't get too many runs, but if we field well, we can put pressure on them and the boys were outstanding."
This has to be one of India's greatest wins in ODIs. A few are dancing in the stands and why not. Team director Ravi Shastri is a happy man and he greets the players with a big smile on his face. So India's luck at the Holkar Cricket Stadium continues, they've won four out of four at this venue now.

Bhuvneshwar to M Morkel, out Caught by Raina!! Edged and that is a fine catch by Raina. The crowd love it. India level the series 1-1, with three games to go. Short of a length delivery outside off stump, Morkel goes for the back foot drive again, gets a thick edge, it went quickly and Raina, who was very wide at slip, was placed perfectly by Dhoni and he held onto the catch despite the ball travelling quickly to him. In fact, he fell back after completing the catch and that tells you how quickly it came to him. M Morkel c Raina b Bhuvneshwar 4(2) [4s-1]

AB was looking good, but brilliance in the field saw the back of him. And just when a partnership was building between Steyn and Behardien, the former throws it away.
