England have been bowled out once again. After de Villiers opted to bowl first in overcast conditions, it was Tahir who surprised everyone by taking Roy's wicket in his very first over (5th over of the innings). Hales continued his good run of form and was being well supported by Root, until the time he got trapped plumb in front by Tahir. Morgan's poor run continued, while Hales-Stokes partnership provided hopes of a big score when they were out in the middle. However, the departure of Stokes opened the gates as wickets kept tumbling thereafter. In the end, Hales managed to register his second century in the 50-over format, but England were bowled out soon after, managing just 236 in the end.

AB de Villiers: 'Nice to finish with a win and it was good to lead from the front - as a captain. Pretty happy with the way our side performed, the belief is there in the team (even after being down 2-0). The comeback started at my favourite ground, Super Sport Park. We have showed a lot of character, even those who didn't play had a role. England are a good opposition, well done for a great series, they fought really hard and the results could have gone either way.'
Hales: 'Mixed emotions for me, it was a close series, but I thought we fell 30-40 runs short in the last two matches, a couple of dropped chances cost us as well. I needed to apply myself to different situations. After a poor series in the Tests, I wanted to make up for it. We have played some quality oppositions over time and I think my batting is going the right way.'

Morgan: 'To be honest, we didn't do enough. We had our chances to wrap up the series, but we didn't take it. We put them under pressure once again with the ball, took early wickets but wasn't just good enough. 260-270 would have been good, but AB played a great knock. It was a good challenge for us, we created opportunities, but didn't do enough to seal the win. We came to win, but there were several positives for us.'
England will be disappointed at how they let the match and the series slip by. They had their opportunities, but blew it away in spectacular style, especially, the match in Johannesburg. Morgan was poor with the bat, Root notched up two hundreds, but when it came to performing under pressure, the team failed to live up to expectations.
South Africa have done exceptionally well to come back from being 0-2 down to clinch the series by a 3-2 margin. It was all set-up for a captain's knock and AB didn't disappoint the Newlands faithfuls. He came into the middle with his team at 22/3, after Topley tripped the top-order. In the company of Amla, he repaired the ninnings, followed it up with an useful stand with Farhaan Behardien before David Wiese applied the finishing touches. The skipper notched up his 24th ODI hundred as the hosts cruised to victory.
