Pakistan make two changes ahead of WT20, Sami and Sharjeel roped in

Pakistan have made some last moment changes to their World T20 and Asia Cup squads as Babar Azam and Rumman Raes hurt themselves during the Pakistan Super league.

In addition to that they have made another bold change as they have rewarded Khalid Latif for his explosive batting in the PSL while Iftikhar Ahmed has faced an axe to usher him in.

Azam fractured his arm in practice for the ongoing PSL and Raees has a hamstring strain.

the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in a statement.

Veteran pacer Sami who turned 35 on Wednesday, made a comeback to international cricket vs Zimbabwe in May 2015 after a three year hiatus. Meanwhile Latif last donned the Pakistan colours in a T20 match against Sri Lanka in June 2012.

Former champions Pakistan are waiting for a go-ahead from their government to travel to India where they are scheduled to begin their World Twenyt20 campaign with a super 10 stage match against a qualifier in Kolkata on March 16.
