Former Sri Lankan bowler Chaminda Vaas has been roped in as Sri Lanka's bowling coach.
He replaces Champaka Ramanayake, who resigned after Sri Lanka's series against Zimbabwe.
Ramanayake, who was appointed in 2015, resigned citing personal reasons.
Chaminda Vaas' role is currently temporary. He previously coached Sri Lanka between February 2013 and April 2015.
Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) announced the appointment on Friday, just before Sri Lanka's series against India.
