Sri Lankan pacer, Lasith Malinga will face a disciplinary inquiry for breach of his contract. It's not the first time Malinga has gone against his contract, because of his repeated breach he will face the inquiry. 

Sri Lankan Sports Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara, criticised the fast bowlers of Sri Lanka by calling them unfit and therefore after hearing this Malinga passed a few comments against the Sports Minister. 

Sri Lankan Cricket mentioned that Malinga had been involved twice in the 'contravention of the agreement' which disallow him to make any statements to the media unless he has the prior consent of the SLC board's CEO. 

Malinga said, 

“

I heard the Sports Minister had told that the players are overweight. We have reached five World Cup finals. In order to get cheap popularity people may say things, but I would like to ask what have they done for the sport.

”

Sri Lanka Cricket will be conducting an emergency meeting on Tuesday (today) at 7pm to discuss not only about Malinga's Inquiry but also about the appointment of the new Sri Lankan head coach.
