Jordan has joined for an initial two-game spell as cover for fellow England all-rounder Adil Rashid, who is currently part of the English Test squad in India.

Rashid could miss more of the Strikers' T20 campaign if he gets selected for England's limited-overs series against India in 2017,.

Instead Jordan will make his debut in Big Bash League 2016-17 for games against Brisbane Heat and Perth Scorchers later this month.
