Pakistan Squad for Test series against England announced

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 17- member squad for the upcoming Test series against England.

Chief Selector Inzamam-ul-Haq announced the squad in a press conference in Lahore. He said that Mohammad Amir’s selection is conditional to his England visa, which is still in process.

Inzamam stated, 

 

 

All the players have been selected on the basis of their performance in first class cricket.

 

 

He further added that the players with considerable fitness were called for PCB training camp, and some of the players who have not been named in test squad may get selected in ODI and T20 squads.

Pakistan will be playing four Test matches against England in the forthcoming tour, which will start from July 14. The Test series will be followed by an ODI and T20 series.
