Agri’-food major Cargill Foods India will be joining hands to co-sponsor M S Dhoni-led Indian Premier League cricket team Rising Pune Supergiants for the promotion of its sunflower oil brand Gemini.

The company’s CMO Neelima Burra said,

The CEO of the Rising Pune Supergiants Raghu Iyer said, “Gemini, the top edible oil brand in Pune, and Rising Pune Supergiants share common values of leadership and are both favourites of the people of Pune.”

Rising Pune Supergiants is one of the eight cricket franchises of the Indian Premier League. The franchise owned by the RP-Sanjiv Geonka Group was founded in 2015. The team is currently captained by MS Dhoni and coached by former New Zealand cricketer Stephen Fleming.
