Due to some technical problems, we are unable to cover live matches on our site and app. We are working on it and will be back soon. Please stay tuned for more.

DEL's openers are out in the middle. They need de Kock and Agarwal to give them a rollicking start to make a good fist of this chase. Harbhajan has the new ball in his hand. Can he get the ball to grip off the surface? He does not have a slip fielder in place though

Guptill: "It was nice to get a hit early on. Krunal then played very well. We will take 206. The odd ball was turning and a few were stopping. No ways to describe the way Krunal played. He was phenomenal. We can defend this target. We need to field well and take our chances."

Some gambles amuse, some delight, and some just leave you so stunned that you discard them as an illusion. I'm still wondering if what I have just witnessed was a mirage or did that really happen? Krunal Pandya, sent in at No. 3, went full Muhammad Ali and swung so hard at Delhi that their heads must still be ringing like bells. His batswing was so clean, so ferocious that even mishits carried all the way. Most of Pandya's innings transpired while Guptill was at the other end, labouring along, playing like batting had just been invented - very scratchy. But he hung around and kept company. Post Pandya's dismissal, the combo of Rayudu and Buttler struck some lusty blows to power Mumbai over 200. Is this pitch all that good for batting, I'm not sure. It didn't quite look a belter from what I gathered. We'll see how the chase goes...

18.2 - Tahir to Rayudu, SIX, Rayudu again sits on one knee and slog-sweeps a flatter ball over the deep mid-wicket fence. This time, it goes all the way. In the slog overs, MUM have explored every nook and cranny of the ground

18.1 - Tahir to Rayudu, FOUR, now, Rayudu has decided to put up an exhibition of power-hitting. Flatter delivery from Tahir, Rayudu slog-sweeps it to the deep mid-wicket boundary. The fielder in the deep runs around the boundary rope, but to no avail

Ambati Rayudu, right handed bat, comes to the crease

17.5 - C Morris to Pollard, out Caught by de Kock!! Pollard does not usually try fancy shots behind the wicket. However, this time, he looks to scoop and gets it off the toe-end and de Kock, the keeper, runs across to snaffle it. Pollard c de Kock b C Morris 3(6)

17.2 - C Morris to Krunal Pandya, out Bowled!! Morris does the trick for DEL. Fuller length delivery and outside off, Pandya tries to hammer it across the line and gets an inside edge onto his stumps. It brings to an end Pandya's pyrotechnics. The great man, Tendulkar, pats Krunal as he makes his way back to the hut. Krunal Pandya b C Morris 86(37) [4s-7 6s-6]

C Morris to Krunal Pandya, THAT'S OUT!! Bowled!!

17.1 - C Morris to Krunal Pandya, 2 runs, Agarwal running back from mid-on has misjudged and that led to him not getting to the ball. Pandya lifts a fullish ball towards long-on, Agarwal runs backwards, but misjudged it slightly and the ball goes over him

16.5 - Zaheer to Pollard, 1 run, very full and on the stumps, Pollard clips it to deep mid-wicket. It feels as if Pollard is playing the second fiddle to Pandya. How many times have you seen Pollard doing that in his career?

16.4 - Zaheer to Krunal Pandya, 1 run, low full toss from Zaheer, Pandya tucks it to mid-wicket

16.3 - Zaheer to Krunal Pandya, SIX, there was a time, when pulling with a vertical bat was almost considered impossible. However, in modern times, batsmen are fearless. Shortish and outside off, Pandya pulls it over mid-wicket and it clears the fence

16.2 - Zaheer to Krunal Pandya, no run, the slower short one and outside off, Pandya looks to throw the kitchen sink at it, but the ball whooshes past the outside edge

16.1 - Zaheer to Pollard, 1 run, the off-pace delivery and it sticks in the pitch a bit, Pollard gets an inside edge on his tuck to square leg

15.6 - Mishra to Krunal Pandya, no run, shorter in length and outside off, Pandya looks to cut and does not make the connection

15.5 - Mishra to Krunal Pandya, SIX, another maximum. This is ridiculous hitting from Pandya. Flatter delivery and on the stumps, Pandya slogs it over the deep mid-wicket boundary. He picked the bones out of that delivery

15.4 - Mishra to Krunal Pandya, SIX, Pandya is taking the oppostion ranks to the cleaners. In fact, DEL's field placements have been reduced to a state of lottery. Pandya plants his front foot and cracks it straight down the ground and it goes all the way

15.3 - Mishra to Krunal Pandya, FOUR, drifting down leg and gets the deserved punishment. Pandya sits on one knee and sweeps it to the deep backward square leg fence

15.2 - Mishra to Pollard, 1 run, too straight from Mishra, clipped to backward square square leg

14.6 - Zaheer to Krunal Pandya, no run, short delivery and outside off, Pandya tries to flay at it, but misses

Kieron Pollard, right handed bat, comes to the crease

14.5 - Zaheer to Guptill, out Caught by Nair!! Guptill's fine hand comes to an end. He played with composure, sprinkled with some eye-catching shots. Guptill attempted to clobber a full toss over long-off, but got it off the toe-end. Karun ran in from long-off and took a good running catch with both hands. Guptill's bat also turned in his hands and that did not help his cause. Guptill c Nair b Zaheer 48(42) [4s-2 6s-3]

Zaheer to Guptill, THAT'S OUT!! Caught!!

14.4 - Zaheer to Guptill, byes, FOUR, well, not much is going right for DEL. Zaheer looks for the yorker, but loses his radar and bowls a full toss, Guptill makes room and tries to hammer it through the off-side, but does not make the connection. The ball bounces awkwardly on de Kock and he can't collect it cleanly. It runs away for four byes

14.3 - Zaheer to Krunal Pandya, 1 run, Zaheer harpoons in a yorker and on the stumps, Pandya squeezes it out to point

14.3 - Zaheer to Krunal Pandya, wide, the slower one, Pandya tries to help it around the corner and misses

13.6 - S Nadeem to Krunal Pandya, 1 run, drifting down leg, Pandya sweeps it to deep backward square leg

13.5 - S Nadeem to Krunal Pandya, SIX, oh boy! Pandya has packed a punch with a flurry of crackerjack shots. He reaches his fifty in style with a maximum. No wonder, MUM's star-studded cricketers in the dug-out stand up and applaud his effort. The fifty came in a mere 22 balls, too. Coming back to the shot, Pandya just butchered a flatter delivery over the deep mid-wicket boundary

13.4 - S Nadeem to Krunal Pandya, FOUR, with a dash of royal flourish, Pandya buries a pushed through delivery to the long-on fence. The fielder in the deep had no chance of stopping that

13.3 - S Nadeem to Guptill, 1 run, slightly slower through the air, Guptill chips it to long-off

13.2 - S Nadeem to Guptill, no run, stump-to-stump line, Guptill essays the drive into the cove-region

Krunal Pandya 42(20) Guptill 47(37) Tahir 3-0-43-0

12.6 - Tahir to Krunal Pandya, FOUR, Pandya applies the finishing touches to what can be a game-changing over for MUM by bringing out the lofted drive to extra cover. 23 runs came from that over

12.5 - Tahir to Krunal Pandya, SIX, this is turning out to be a great over for MUM. Pandya just plonks his front foot and pulverises it straight down the ground

12.4 - Tahir to Guptill, 1 run, flatter trajectory and outside off, Guptill smears the cut square on the off-side

12.3 - Tahir to Guptill, no run, flatter delivery and outside off, Guptill can't connect with his cut

12.2 - Tahir to Guptill, SIX, Guptill is firing on all cylinders now. He makes a touch of room and lofts it over long-off. It cleared the fence with utmost ease

12.1 - Tahir to Guptill, SIX, is Guptill using a bazooka or a willow? The googly from Tahir, Guptill sits on one knee and slog-sweeps it to over long-on. He picked that googly quite easily

Imran Tahir [2.0-0-20-0] is back into the attack

Krunal Pandya 32(18) Guptill 34(33) S Nadeem 3-0-30-0

11.6 - S Nadeem to Krunal Pandya, no run, stifled appeal for LBW turned down, Pandya aims to slog and misses. It was pitching outside the line of leg-stump

11.5 - S Nadeem to Guptill, 1 run, slower through the air from Nadeem, Guptill makes a wee bit of room and drives it to sweeper cover

11.4 - S Nadeem to Guptill, no run, Guptill will thank his stars that it missed the leg-stump. Guptill sinks on one knee and looks for an ambitious slog-sweep, but does not make the connection. That delivery turned, too

11.3 - S Nadeem to Krunal Pandya, 1 run, the stand between the pair now is worth 50 runs. Pandya takes it on the full and drills it to long-on

11.2 - S Nadeem to Krunal Pandya, 2 runs, Pandya takes a step out of the crease and drives it to long-on to nab a couple

11.1 - S Nadeem to Guptill, 3 runs, slightly shorter in length, Guptill camps back and cuts it square on the off-side. Samson puts in a dive to save a run for his team. Good running between the wickets results in three runs

Shahbaz Nadeem [2.0-0-23-0] is back into the attack

Over: 11 4 0 1 MUM 90/1
Krunal Pandya 29(15) Guptill 30(30) Mishra 3-0-25-1

10.6 - Mishra to Krunal Pandya, FOUR, Pandya is displaying heavy layers of skill today. Fuller length delivery and zeroing in on the stumps, Pandya lifts it into the downtown territories. It rockets to the fence

10.5 - Mishra to Krunal Pandya, no run, googly and outside off, Pandya aims to cut and the ball snakes past the outside edge

10.4 - Mishra to Guptill, 1 run, flatter delivery and on the stumps. In fact, it was the slider, Guptill drives it to long-off

10.3 - Mishra to Guptill, no run, pushed through and outside off, Guptill loses his balance a bit as he tries to cut and connects with thin air

10.2 - Mishra to Guptill, no run, tantalisingly flighted and very full, Guptill drives it back towards the bowler, who fumbles, but recovers quickly to stop the pair from pinching a single

10.1 - Mishra to Krunal Pandya, 1 run, Mishra gets the googly to turn, Pandya somehow manages to dab it to short third man

Over: 10 0 MUM 84/1
Krunal Pandya 24(12) Guptill 29(27) Tahir 2-0-20-0

9.6 - Tahir to Krunal Pandya, 1 run, googly dropped shorter on quicker. Pandya had no intention to charge down, sanely stays there and taps it to cover

9.5 - Tahir to Krunal Pandya, FOUR, that's courageous. And powerful. Shuffles across to make room for this fullish googly and powers this loft with lots of bottom hand. Over extra cover and it zoots to the fences (hot wheels)

9.4 - Tahir to Krunal Pandya, 2 runs, okay, that was good and bad from Samson and the other fielder. A mistimed lift over mid-wicket from Pandya, two fielders coalesce at the fence trying to catch it and one of them, Mayank I think, slapped the ball back in...after they had missed the catch

9.3 - Tahir to Guptill, 1 run, bowls it quicker this time, Guptill hurries into a punch off the back foot. To long-off for a binary digit

9.2 - Tahir to Krunal Pandya, 1 run, slows the pace down and the punch ends up in traveling uppishly to long-off

9.1 - Tahir to Guptill, 1 run, Tahir again. Sorry, but I admire him. Expect an overdose of mentions. Was on the floor to collect this dab from short third man. Guptill had almost made it but a direct hit and Tahir's sitting posture behind the stumps rather than in front should have made things more fun

Over: 9 4 W 1 1 1 0 1 W MUM 74/1
Krunal Pandya 16(8) Guptill 27(25) Mishra 2-0-19-1

8.6 - Mishra to Krunal Pandya, FOUR, Tahir misses his 'slap' attempt to field that at cow corner. This was clobbered cross-batted by Pandya again, Tahir spots it late I think, has to let out a sprint and ends up fanning the air as the ball ricochets well in front of him

8.5 - Mishra to Guptill, 1 run, swerves across to be full and dipping on leg-stump, Guptill follows it with jammed feet and clips it to deep mid-wicket

8.4 - Mishra to Krunal Pandya, 1 run, googly drifts away, Pandya reverses his bat with a shuffle that had his front knee poked out, and paddles it to short third man

8.3 - Mishra to Krunal Pandya, SIX, wrong 'un again and this sees the stars! Shuffles across, uses the fuller length to its full advantage and launches it over long-on

8.2 - Mishra to Krunal Pandya, no run, wind-mill swing of the bat, says Alan Wilkins. Beaten by the googly again, gets drawn into it and is rendered second by the excessive turn again

8.1 - Mishra to Guptill, 1 run, presses forward and had the room to free arms on this flat-batted drive to long-off

Over: 8 1 0 3 6 6 1 1 MUM 61/1
Guptill 25(23) Krunal Pandya 5(4) Tahir 1-0-10-0

7.6 - Tahir to Guptill, 1 run, and now again. Not the misfield but it falls well short of the fielder this time -- the fielder does well to fire back the throw and just a single. A mistimed sweep, was early into it but it fell well short

7.5 - Tahir to Krunal Pandya, 3 runs, and now it's spreading. A misfield at deep mid-wicket and QDK has a look that's hard to describe - almost like cribbing without the lip muscles getting a workout. Tucked uppishly this was

7.4 - Tahir to Guptill, 1 run, shuffles and punches it through extra cover this time

7.3 - Tahir to Guptill, FOUR, this ball deserved this misfield. Let me be very brutal. Short and wide, Guptill opens his bat on the cut and gets it past a fumbling and struggling Zaheer at backward point

7.2 - Tahir to Krunal Pandya, 1 run, uses the bounce on this legbreak to turn it to deep mid-wicket

7.1 - Tahir to Krunal Pandya, no run, starts with a googly like Mishra but no appeal. Pandya is drawn into it but it turns too much for Tahir's own benefit

Imran Tahir, right-arm leg break, comes into the attack

Time-out! Sorry for a late update. Was relooking that dismissal and almost fell off. Here's Tahir! One slip

6.6 - Mishra to Guptill, no run, tries to squeeze out a drive off a ball too full and the inside edge rolls square on the leg-side

6.5 - Mishra to Guptill, FOUR, that's bliss. Too good a shot to bring the fifty up. Overpitched legbreak, Guptill had the front foot stride to pummel it and does so with an inside-out loft over long-off. You should have seen that ball sail over the fielder

A left-hander sent in to counter legspin, you would think

6.4 - Mishra to Krunal Pandya, 1 run, drifts across too full and Pandya drills it to long-off with a bat swing that could power an MP3

Krunal Pandya, left handed bat, comes to the crease

6.3 - Mishra to Rohit, out Caught by Rishabh Pant!! The Rohit Sharma theorem needs a rework. It's a mediocre legbreak turning away, ironically giving Rohit the width to cut and he finds Rishabh Pant with it. And that's a good catch. Dives head-first and pouches it at backward point. Ravi Shastri gives his verdict on air as the third umpire struggles in his cobweb of replays and zoomers. Then concurs with Waz's Shaz and sends the mathematicians into a tizzy. 5.6 - S Nadeem to Guptill, 1 run, similar line and length again but T20s don't allow imitations. Powers it with a front foot drive but extra cover intercepts it. Would have done it on heels...straight to him. 45/0 is what it reads after the powerplay

5.5 - S Nadeem to Guptill, no run, slows it down, pitches it up and Guptill respects it with a forward defence

5.4 - S Nadeem to Rohit, 1 run, arm-ball cloaked in mediocrity. Short and wide and Sharma punches it through extra cover

5.3 - S Nadeem to Rohit, SIX, ah, that's been boomed away! Gets it on the ideal length to sweep, kneels down before you could say Jack Robinson and winds it over deep square leg

5.2 - S Nadeem to Guptill, 3 runs, this was a good shot and Tahir gave the chase all the way to the boundary to stop this. Guptill had the room made and uses a 45-degree bat to drive this wide of backward point

5.1 - S Nadeem to Rohit, 1 run, dragged down but the bounce is too much to flay it. Rocks back, rises and punches it to cover. There's a slip too

Shahbaz Nadeem [1.0-0-11-0] is back into the attack

Here's Nadeem. Why was he taken off, again?

MUM are 33/0 but can't say that Delhi have disappointed. Zaheer is not a bowler. He's a magic sprinkle that forges the best out of any attack. Remember Durban 2010?

4.4 - Zaheer to Guptill, no run, this is wonderful bowling. Sticks into the pitch and then bounds up ambitiously, Guptill was backed away and looked for a delicate punch. Misses as the ball zooms up

4.1 - Zaheer to Guptill, no run, a slight stutter but all's safe. Backs away with a slap that's slotted to cover-point, Rohit is halfway down and then is sent back. The throw isn't the LED-lighting one. Direct hit and you never know..

3.6 - C Morris to Rohit, SIX, that's been bullied like a high school nerd! A front foot pull, can you believe? Perhaps reads the length early like a psychic and flat-bats the pull over long-on. Yes, long-on

3.5 - C Morris to Rohit, no run, and now he undoes all of that with this. He's looking to be urgent, plays a touch early and the caned drive drops well in front of mid-off this time. Can't gamble on the ball holding in the pitch so early on

3.4 - C Morris to Rohit, no run, that's a dot. A gorgeous dot. Gets forward nicely on the front foot and creams it to mid-off

3.3 - C Morris to Guptill, 1 run, swivels and utilizes the bounce to tuck this to short fine leg

2.5 - Zaheer to Rohit, 1 run, 133ks length ball angled across, Rohit executes a dab of certainty to third man

2.4 - Zaheer to Rohit, no run, chops it onto the pitch and thanks the stars for the ball to not ricochet anywhere in the vicinity of the stumps

2.3 - Zaheer to Guptill, 1 run, the lone slipper flung to his left, almost tumbled over but this intended outside edge ran past him. This time, Guptill opened up with the cutter but was half-beaten in not being able to use the meat of his bat

2.2 - Zaheer to Rohit, 1 run, and this is an unintentional chip to mid-off. The cutter is banged in, gets high on Rohit who hops to ride it but in the end, tamely pops it short of the man

1.4 - C Morris to Guptill, 1 run, this pitch looks a devil already. Extra bounce on this length ball, Guptill was looking to tuck it through mid-wicket, gets a leading edge and the ball rolls to third man. A slight nip away made it look worse

0.4 - S Nadeem to Rohit, SIX, Gavaskar's "yes, yes" itinerary could teach counting to the kids here. Not that good a shot to be honest. Short, yes, but not much and Rohit lofts it over deep extra cover. Opened the bat face well there to cover up the turn. Okay, it was a good shot

0.3 - S Nadeem to Rohit, FOUR, and Rohit responds with a four. Kneels, doesn't allow the ball to do much and helps this pitched up delivery over mid-wicket with a sweep

0.2 - S Nadeem to Rohit, no run, it's here. Spin's here! Looped on middle and off, rips away with venom and beats the outside edge

0.1 - S Nadeem to Rohit, no run, there are the first signs. Kicks up from middle and Rohit defends it off the splice

Rohit and Guptill are at the crease. Rohit is on strike. S Nadeem will open the attack

"We have a nothing-to-lose attitude and Krunal played one of the innings of the tournament so far," says a jubilant Ponting. The pitch tempted us into believing that it was a potential thriller but Bumrah's 'handcuff spell' only catalysed Delhi's impending demise. Visakhapatnam though reimbursed us well with the runs on offer and the other Pandya blossomed into limelight to reiterate popular belief in 'believe'. With that, Pratyush Sinha bids good night on behalf of Bharath Ramaraj and Siva. Ta-ta!

Krunal: "I was really happy that I did well. I assessed the conditions well actually. I knew there were two legspinners and a left-arm spinner, and they were certain to bowl 12 overs there. So I played my shots. At that time, I did not target a score. Both leggies bowl good googlies, I was waiting for it and trying to hit it. That gesture (flaunt-the-biceps celebration) was to Hardik telling that I hit so many sixes. We like to pull each other's legs. When he (Pollard) came, I told him that I will attack and so he should take a single and give me the strike. I want to dedicate this innings to my parents and my brother, who always supports me. Also want to dedicate this to one of my coaches."

Krunal Pandya is the Man of the Match

Rohit: "Much needed win. We were not playing consistent cricket. We wanted to play positive cricket today. Scoring 200 on that wicket was challenging but you saw the result in the end. We wanted to play a game like that, wanted to win with a big margin. Everything went according to the plan, perfect day for us. Krunal Pandya played a brilliant knock and played some fearless cricket. Everytime you back yourselves, you will get the results. He will remember that knock for a long time. Scoring 200 and defending like that was perfect. Guptill played a great innings too. We want to be in tough situations. For the last few years, when I have been the captain, it has never been easy. We haven't played consistent cricket, but when we have played, we have played very well."

Ravi Shastri has arrived with his forced phonetics and most real of enthusiasms. Man of the Match for Bumrah? *hides behind a chair*

Zaheer: "Yes, 200 is always tough to chase. Having said that, it was a tough day for the bowlers. Off day for us as a bowling unit. Credit to Rohit for taking on the spinners early and didn't let us execute our bowling plans. We lacked a third seamer to attack when Pandya was going. He played well and their plan came off well. We want to stay positive. We have this young energy and that is key, especially at the back end of this tournament. 3 games is enough to win 2 out of 3. The advantage is that we play home games at Raipur and the trick will be to win the next one."

It's always tough to feel a pain that's not yours. So we cannot judge how bad de Kock would have felt after being adjudged caught behind poorly for the second time in a row. That was not just a poor decision which left de Kock dejected, it was also an error which sank Delhi's hopes. Not that they were cruising along to chase down the mammoth total from Mumbai. But the South African was certainly hitting them well and how long does it take to change the fate of a game anyway? One cannot ignore Bumrah's efforts with the ball whose astounding figures of 4-0-13-3 broke the back of Delhi's batting. Mumbai have peaked at the right time. They cannot afford to put a foot wrong. Delhi, though, have definitely lost the momentum they had garnered after a series of good performances.

19.1 - Krunal Pandya to Zaheer, out Bowled!! Third biggest T20 League win for Mumbai. They are alive and breathing! What a win this, what a big win this and what a way for this match to end. Over: 2 1 DEL 13/1
de Kock 4(5) Nair 1(2) Vinay 1-0-3-1

1.6 - Vinay to de Kock, 1 run, short of length delivery and angled in, clipped to mid-wicket

1.5 - Vinay to Nair, 1 run, good length delivery that jags back in, Nair stays leg-side of the ball and aims to defend, but misses. Vinay goes up in an appeal for lbw, but the angle was taking it down leg. The height might have been an issue, too. In fact, the umpire thought he got an inside edge. However, I can't see any. Eventually, the pair nab in a run on an overthrow from the fielder at backward point

1.4 - Vinay to Nair, no run, now a short delivery and Vinay bowls it outside off, Nair looks to pull and gets a top-edge to mid-off. Good surprise short one by Vinay

Karun Nair, right handed bat, comes to the crease

1.3 - Vinay to M Agarwal, out Bowled!! Vinay is pumped up as he comes back into the side and straightaway chugs down his Karnataka team-mate Agarwal. Nothing but a back of a length that was slanted in, Agarwal tries to dab it to third man with an angled bat and chops it onto the pitch and then it rattles the stumps. It might have hit the bat harder than Agarwal expected it to. M Agarwal b Vinay 8(5) [6s-1]

Vinay to M Agarwal, THAT'S OUT!! Bowled!!

1.2 - Vinay to de Kock, 1 run, a tad fuller and outside off, de Kock punches it to mid-off

1.1 - Vinay to de Kock, no run, short and wide delivery, de Kock ushers in the cut, but can't tailor the gap through the backward point region

Vinay Kumar, right-arm medium, comes into the attack

Over: 1 0 1 0 DEL 10/0
de Kock 2(2) M Agarwal 8(4) Harbhajan 1-0-10-0

0.6 - Harbhajan to de Kock, 1 run, too straight from the experienced spinner, de Kock clips it to mid-wicket

0.5 - Harbhajan to M Agarwal, 1 run, another darter from Harbhajan, pushed to long-on

0.4 - Harbhajan to M Agarwal, SIX, Agarwal shows his aggressive intent by using the slog-sweep to a quicker delivery to clear the deep backward square leg boundary

0.3 - Harbhajan to M Agarwal, no run, flatter delivery and on the stumps, turned into the on-side

0.2 - Harbhajan to de Kock, 1 run, from round the wicket, Harbhajan bowls it flatter through the air and on the stumps, de Kock plays for the turn as he looks to tap it around the corner and gets an inside edge to short fine leg. He has a slip in place

0.1 - Harbhajan to M Agarwal, 1 run, shorter in length, Agarwal pulls it to deep backward square leg

M Agarwal and de Kock are at the crease. M Agarwal is on strike. Harbhajan will open the attack
