Australian allrounder Mitchell Marsh has been ruled out of the ongoing India vs Australia Test series due to a recurring shoulder injury.
Marsh hasn’t been having a great series and to top it off, his shoulder problem returned during the 2nd Test.
Coach Darren Lehmann said,
“
He had the injury through the summer, he was fine when he got here but it just got worse. I was really happy with the way he played the second innings in Pune. It's unlucky for Mitch and we move to whoever the next person comes in.
”
Allrounder Marcus Stoinis has been named as replacement and will be joining the squad after the conclusion of Victoria's current Sheffield Shield match.
The 4-match Test series is currently level at 1-1, with 2 more games to go.
