The Nawab of Najafgarh continues to remain Delhi Daredevils faithful servant. Feared for his destructive batting, Sehwag will be looking to make a point this time around. He was DDs most consistent batsman last season scoring 424 runs in 11 matches. 74.57% of his runs come in boundaries. He saves the non-striker from doing too much running but doesn't guarantee he won't knock off the runner's noggin (head). This smiling friendly figure on the field isn't so friendly with the cricket ball. He looks to smack the leather off of it each time he plays a stroke. When Sehwag scores, all the other batsmen can take it easy. A philosophy of 'see ball, hit ball' has held him in good stead so far in this format and has helped him notch up a century as well. However, the orange cap has eluded him thus far. DD will be hoping he dons it this season en route of taking them to the finals.
