He once was ICC's chief executive officer, now Sri Lanka Cricket has decided to utilise his expertise to revamp the SL cricket. Sri Lankan cricket has been facing a tough time recently wiith its finances and the way game is run domestically. Lorgat has worked with ICC for considerable amount of time. Hence this experience shall be more than handy when SLC is looking to revive the state of cricket in Sri Lanka.

If Cricket has to survive, we need to have stronger boards and stronger administrators.
