The Chennai Super Kings moved within one win of the IPL-5 final with a 38-run win over the Mumbai Indians in the elimination match in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
A blistering 20-ball half-century by captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni propelled Chennai to 187 for five in their 20 overs and Mumbai were never in the hunt, limping to 149 for nine.

Give us an inch and we take a yard. This is the diktat the yellow-jerseyed CSK seem to be living by. Captain MSD came out to bat like there was no tomorrow. He bludgeoned the MI attack as if they were a 'C' team from a local club. It's funny how CSK always seem to lift their game in knock-out games and MI do exactly the opposite. MI desperately need to find an opener and a better captain for the next season. Too long have they relied on individual performances to bail them out. Holding Pollard back until the task was next to impossible was captaincy at its worst.
