Kings XI claim convincing win. Kings XI Punjab kept their Indian Premier League play-off hopes going with a 25-run win over whipping boys Deccan Chargers.
Mandeep Singh set the tone as he clubbed 75 in 48 balls at the top of the Kings XI order, seeing them to a total of 170 for five.

No big surprises there. Deccan hasn't been able to win matches that they were meant to win. There was no way they were going to win this match. Young Mandeep scored a brilliant half century to take his team to a strong position. Deccan played like they have been throughout this IPL. Poorly.
