India v/s Sri Lanka. India v/s Sri Lanka. India v/s Sri Lanka. Argh!!!!. Over and over again, we as an audience have been bombarded with the same teams, playing the same game. Different days, yet same teams, same games and sometimes different results, which is also not a problem that can’t be …FIXED!!!
Aren’t these two teams tired of playing each other? What are their respective boards trying to prove? Wouldn’t it be much easier on all of us if the BCCI just gave some money to the Sri Lankan board? It seems like the BCCI is making them cross a really long rainbow, at the end of which SLCB hopes to find green pastures or maybe just a way to pay their players’ salaries. Maybe they're just trying to give Sachin opportunities to score his 100th hundred at one of the Sri Lankan grounds, which they can later market as a tourist destination- the place where the legend made history.
They probably don’t realize that if they keep playing so often, let alone a pot of gold, they might not even find a pot. A wandering mind can never sustain such repetitive madness and since our school days, we’ve never been able to concentrate too well. BCCI and SLC, wake up and smell the Idli-Dosa, or at least open your eyes and notice the other teams playing cricket.
