The knives are out and Men in Blue have been dissected to the T. If they lose the fourth Test starting in Adelaide in a week’s time, it would be no surprise, but if they win, it will definitely be news. If the impending retirement of any of the big guns happens, that will probably overshadow the match result anyway.
 

But why should the Men in Blue stress about all that? They are in Adelaide, the most liveable city in Australia. After their Christmas shopping spree in Melbourne, go-karting in Sydney, the bigger question they must want an answer to is what they will do in Adelaide! For God’s Sake, there are still another six days to go before they play the next test.
 

While it is not the first time in Adelaide for most of them, still making a guess where they could go, would be a good discussion. Probably the go-karting in Sydney hurt the team more than anything. All their driving (read while batting) skills were consumed at the karting circuit and when they entered the Sydney Cricket Ground, anyone could hardly drive the ball outside the 30-yard circle.
 

If in Adelaide, one thing the Indian team should not miss out on, is a meeting with Wang Wang and Funi, the only giant pandas in the southern hemisphere at the Adelaide Zoo. The tour to the zoo will throw light on the genetic makeup of the giant creatures and give them details on the efforts that are being made to save these endangered species from extinction.
 

To be on the wild side, they can see check out Kangaroo Island on four wheels, on foot, in a boat or a helicopter. Instead of swimming in the pool at hotel, they can go swimming with dolphins at Glenelg. At the Victor Harbor, they can have a look at the endangered southern right whales which moves to the Great Australian Bight (area of ocean south of Australia) to breed.
 

This is the closest Indian team will be to nature and will soothe their nerves down, bring peace to their minds and ... the reasons (excuses) will go on.
 

The second option for an outing, close to MotherNature, would be to make hay when the sun shines on Adelaide's beaches. Stretching from North Haven to Sellicks Beach in the south, most of the shorelines are about 30 minutes from the city centre.
 

To take it easy, the Men in Blue can take the tram from the city and travel 12 kilometres straight to the Glenelg, a major tourist beach. The shops, cafés, restaurants and bars on the seaside will definitely refresh them.
 

Not to forget, Adelaide is also supposed to be Australia’s wine capital. How the Australian wine industry was built is seen at the National Wine Centre of Australia in Adelaide. They can opt for an interactive wine discovery tour, wine tasting and á la carte food with refreshments and stuff like that...
 

Now for all those who want to party, barring Dravid and Laxman, can check these below mentioned pubs in Adelaide city centre. The Exeter, The Austral, The Old Exchange, The Stag, The Tivoli, General Havelock, Apple Bar, Distill, The Apothecary, Mesa Lunga are the most happening places in the town.
 

In between all these exciting options with things-to-do and what-to-see, whenever they are free, they could go and practice at the 31,000-seater Adelaide Oval. Will they?
