MI got off to a disastrous start losing both the openers as they reached 24/2 after 4 with 39% COW. Rayudu and Franklin then gave the inning some semblance of a resistance as they took MI to 64/2 after 9 with 47% COW before Rayudu fell. Franklin continued to fight in company of Yadav before Vettori and Bhatkal mopped up the lower middle order as MI were bowled out for 139 with 42% COW. RCB got off to a decent start before both openers fell in quick succession as they reached 42/2 after 7 with 70% COW. Kohli and Mayank seemed to have settled before 3 wickets in 3 overs crashed RCB to 75/5 after 15 with 55% COW and they never recovered from it to be bowled out for 108 in 19.2 to lose by 31 runs.

arrow 5 overs: MI 30/2 MI 39% MI lost both Gayle and Dilshan as
      they didn’t get the start they are used to. MI scored just 30 runs in the first 5 overs as their COW dropped by 10% to 39%.

      stubborn start but Rayudu was still woefully out of touch and eventually succumbed to the pressure as 41 runs were scored increasing MI’s COW by 8% to 47%.

      lose some momentum but they still managed to score 24 runs in this period to keep themselves in the match. RCB’s COW jumped by 10% to 83%.
