cow-analysis

Patel and Rahane got India off to a slow and unconvincing start as they took India to 52/0 after 12 with 45% COW. They both fell in quick succession being Kohli and Dravid together. And they batted like they have been batting together for years. They put together a 170 run stand before Dravid fell for 69. Kohli too fell after a spectacular century but MSD and Raina launched a late attack and MSD’s swashbuckling fifty saw India cross 300 and post 304/6 with 58% COW. Kieswetter fell early but Cook and Trott ensured that India kept wickets in hand as England reached 102/1 after 17 with 43% COW. Cook and Trott both fell after fifties and it looked India just might snatch their first win but after rain interruption Indian bowlers struggled to bowl and Bell and Bopara smashed the ball around to keep England in the hunt before a brutal cameo condemned India to yet another defeat.
