Michael Vaughan stirred up a storm in tea cup, beer mugs, and soda cans when he suggested on twitter that VVS may have used vaseline to trick Hotspot when an alleged edge wasn't reflected by it. Needless to say he now knows more Indian swear words than the whole Holding Willey team combined.

In between the torrential outrage, that ensued the next day, he managed to tweet that he was joking. Oh! Ha Ha. That's it then. Nothing to see here, move along.

Well Mr. Vaughan jokes don't have to be explained. You are a cricket pundit, not a stand up comedian. Your word as an expert is accepted by millions of fans around the world. Thanks to you the gentleman called VVS Laxman was trending on twitter along with 'Vaseline' when he should have been trending for his sublime fifty. And thanks to him being a gentleman, he wouldn't be taking you to the court over it.

You may untwist your knickers now.
