India lost Dhawan early but looked to be back in control with Kohli and Patel batting well but both fell off consecutive deliveries as India stuttered to 48/3 after 7 with 46% COW. Skipper Raina didn’t repeat his CSK exploits but Badrinath carried his IPL form forward and along with Sharma helped India post a fighting 159/6 with 50% COW. With Gayle not there to give them a blazing start WI found themselves in trouble at 30/2 after 5 with 43% COW. Bravo and Samuels rescued the innings with a solid partnership but their slow scoring meant that the required run rate shot up and despite a hurricane cameo from Barnwell, West Indies ended with 143/5 to lose by 16 runs.

Dhawan got his first runs in International cricket but he did not last long although Patel was playing aggressively. India’s chances had decreased by 4% during this period.

for India and bad crazy for West Indies, as the bowlers slightly lost it. India’s chances had increased by 10% during this period.

		were in trouble early when both openers got out quickly. West Indies chances had decreased by 7% during this period.
10 overs: WI 52/2	WI 36%	Some pointless batting from Samuels and
		Darren Bravo got the Windies further in trouble as the required rate mounted due to their stonewalling. West Indies chances had decreased by 7% during this period.
15 overs: WI 85/2	WI 29%	Samuels and Bravo made an attempt to
		look for runs but the were still not keeping with the required rate. West Indies chances had decreased by 7% during this period.
20 overs: WI 143/5	WI 0%	Some clean hitting from Barnwell was
		there, but it was way too late as India won through the jetlag. India won by 16 runs.
