Vijay put behind his poor form as he and Hussey got CSK off to a great start and by the time Hussey got out, CSK was 84/1 after 10 with 55% COW. Vijay brought up his fifty in Raina’s company but his wicket brought MSD to the crease. 71 runs came off the last 6 overs as MSD and Raina tore apart the RR attack and helped CSK end with 196/3, their COW up to 63%. RR struggled to keep up with the required run rate and lost wickets as they stuttered to 70/4 after 10 with 23% COW. Rahane’s fighting fifty was never going to be enough in the face of the huge target as RR were bowled out for 133 to lose by 63 runs.
