It was the green vs the green. Pakistan against Bangladesh. The light green were the favourites with the pre-match COW of 54%. A good start set Pakistan on their way and their COW never really wavered, moving from 77% at the end of the innings. With Boom Boom going Bam Bam and 5 other batsmen answering the coach’s call it was a nightmare for the Bangladeshi bowlers. Afridi ended with 124 off 60 as Pakistan raced to 385/7. Despite Tamim’s rapid start, Bangladeshis were never able to pull COW in their direction and with Imrul in test match mood, COW swung completely in Pakistan’s favour. The writing was clear on the wall when it reached 99 in the 34th over. With just Junaid Siddique paying attention to the Coach, it was no surprise that Bangladesh went down by 139 runs.
