Shahid Afridi's superb all-round performance helped Pakistan post an easy 23-run victory over Sri Lanka in the second and final Twenty20 international and level the series 1-1.

 

 

Hosts Sri Lanka were shot out for 99 as they collapsed, their lowest T20 total against Pakistan, after restricting the tourists to 122-6 in Hambantota.

You can never tell which Pakistan team is going to show up. On Sunday, it was the one that almost always ekes out a victory. Shahid Afridi scored a half -century. 'Nuff said. It was a match in which anything was possible. But some wonderful bowling by all the Pakistani bowlers ensured them a victory. So the T-20 series finishes in a draw. We can only hope the one-day series will be as exciting.
