cow-analysis

Batting first WI got off to a cautious start before Barath was the first victim of the spinners. Simmons and Samuels put WI on track with a fine partnership before Simmons fell with WI at 61/2 after 9 with 47% COW. Samuels waged a lone battle with a fighting fifty as rest of the batting failed to handle the pressure as WI ended with 132/8 with 40% COW. Bangladesh started with a bang but lost Tamim early and when 3 quick wickets fell they were stuttering at 53/4 after 10 with 50% COW. Ashraful and Rahim looked to turn the match around but just when they were wresting the initiative Ashraful as always threw away his wicket. But skipper Rahim launched a brutal counter attack and sealed the win with a mighty six.
