Vijay fell for just 8 but Raina gave Mussey good support as CSK reached 60/1 after 9 with 48% COW. Rainsa fell in next over and Badri’s struggle negated Mussey’s brilliant batting. When Badri finally fell for 15 CSK was 112/3 after 16 with 46% COW. Mussey and MSD launched a late rally as CSK ended with 158/4 after 20 with 47% COW. After a bright star MI slumped from 49/1 to 85/6 with 43% COW before Pollard and Bhajji gave them some hope. Pollard’s wicket meant it was all over but a madcap cameo by Malinga turned the match on its head as MI scraped through with 1 ball to spare.

arrow 5 overs: CSK 28/1 CSK 40% Vijay’s struggle with the bat
      ended at 8 but it ensured that CSK were able to score just 28 runs in the first five over as their COW dropped by 14% to 40%.
arrow 10 overs: CSK 67/2 CSK 48% M Hussey found a partner in Raina
      but just when they were looking dangerous Raina was out in an unfortunate manner. 39 runs came in this period as CSK nudged their COW up by 8% to 48%.
arrow 15 overs: CSK 109/2 CSK 48% M Hussey batted imperiously but
      Badrinath struggled to find the boundaries and bogged down CSK as they managed to score 42 runs in this period. Their slow scoring meant COW remained unchanged to 48%.

      but despite Mussey’s brilliant fifty and MSD’s great cameo CSK could score only 49 more runs. Despite this late surge CSK’s COW dipped by 1% to 47%.

arrow 5 overs: MI 39/1 MI 68% Mumbai openers fared better than
      their CSK counterparts as Jacobs and Blizzard put on 39 before Jacobs was stumped off Ashwin. This session saw MI’s COW go up by 15% to 68%.
arrow 10 overs: MI 67/5 MI 45% This session turned the match
      around as good bowling and poor shot by MI batsmen saw CSK pick up 4 wickets while giving away just 28 runs. MI’s COW crashed by 23% to 45%.
arrow 15 overs: MI 102/6 MI 50% Pollard and Satish started MI’s
      revival and CSK didn’t help their cause with some sloppiness in the field as MI scored 35 runs and lost just 1 wicket to raise their COW by 5% to 50%.

      cameo by Malinga saw MI snatch the match from as they smashed 57 runs off 4.5 overs to sneak home with 1 ball to spare.
