Hafeez continued his dream series as along with Shafiq he gave Pakistan a dream start and by the time Shafiq was out Pakistan was 74/1 after 7 with 59% COW. Then Hafeez and Raja nearly doubled the score before Hafeez fell for 71. Some late hitting by Umar and Tanvir saw Pakistan post an imposing 198/5 with 70% COW. Zimbabwe needed a blistering start to have any chance but they were 13/2 after 2. The batsmen were unable to cope with the climbing RRR and they fell trying to keep up with it as they stumbled to 84/6 after 11 with 19% COW. Chris Coventry smashed a few around but it was never going to be enough as Hafeez picked up 4 wickets to skittle them out for 113 in 15.2 overs to win by 85 runs.

      to an absolute flyer as they hammered Zimbabwe bowlers to all parts of the ground. 56 runs came off the first 5 overs as Pakistan’s COW went up by 7% to 59%.
arrow 10 overs: PAK 97/1 PAK 62% Shafiq fell for 38 but Hafeez raced
      away to his fifty in company of Raja as Pakistan consolidated on the fine start. 47 runs in this period for the loss of one wicket saw the COW go up by 3% to 62%.

      walked in and continued to blaze away as Pakistan looked set for a 200+ score. 50 runs came in this period as Pakistan’s COW jumped by 4% to 66%.

      trying to raise the tempo, Umar and Tanvir finished in style as Pakistan scored 51 runs in this period to put up 198 on the board, their COW up by 4% to 70%.

      to have any hope of overhauling the target but their batsmen succumbed to the pressure as they scored 38 runs but lost 3 wickets, their COW dropping by 3% to 27%.
arrow 10 overs: ZIM 76/5 ZIM 24% Zimbabwe’s struggle continued as
      they lost 2 more wickets including Chibhabha who was the only one putting up a fight. 38 more runs came in this period but Zimbabwe’s COW dropped by 3% to 24%.
arrow 15.2 overs: ZIM 113/10 ZIM 0% The inevitable finally happened as
      thanks to Hafeez’s 4 wickets Zimbabwe capitulated for just 113 runs as they lost their last 5 wickets for 37 more runs to lose the match by 85 runs.
