5th ODI : Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh (Winner: BAN)

Bangladesh got off to a slow and steady start before Imrul fell. Ashraful and Tamim looked dangerous when they both fell within few overs and the middle over couldn’t get going as Bangladesh reached 127/5 after 30 with 44% COW. At this point Shakib took control of the match along with Mahmadullah with a century stand. They both smacked fifties as Bangladesh ended with 253 for 6, their COW up to 53%. Zimbabwe lost Taylor for a duck but Sibanda and Masakadaza set about the repair job as usual as Zimbabwe reached 58/1 after 13 with 45% COW. However 3 wickets fell in next 5 over as they slumped to 78/4 after 18 with 41% COW. Mutizwa and Waller put up a fifty run stand to keep the hopes alive but Zimbabwe lost last 5 wickets for 20 runs as they collapsed from 140/5 to 160 all out to lose the match by 93 runs.

  1st Innings (Bangladesh) - 50 overs Maximum  
arrow 10 overs: BAN 40/1 BAN 45% Imrul fell after a decent start
      but Tamim and Ashraful looked in good touch as Bangladesh scored 40 runs in this session. Their cautious start got their COW down by 4% to 45%.
arrow 25 overs: BAN 109/3 BAN 46% Ahsraful was again wasteful
      while Tamim once again failed to convert his start in to a fifty as Bangladesh scored 69 runs but lost 2 wickets. Their COW went up by 1% to 46%.
arrow 40 overs: BAN 167/5 BAN 43% Bangladesh looked in trouble at
      127/5 before Shakib and Mahmadullah started the rescue act and scored 58 runs in this session. This was a setback for Bangladesh as their COW went down by 3% to 43%.
arrow 50 overs: BAN 253/6 BAN 53% Both Shakib and Mahmadullah
      upped the tempo as they scored fine half centuries and helped Bangladesh to a decent score. 86 runs scored in this session raised Bangladesh’s COW by 10% to 53%.

arrow 25 overs: ZIM 108/4 ZIM 40% Bangladeshi spinners spun their
      web picking up 3 wickets as Zimbabwe middle order struggled to score 61 runs in these 15 overs. Their struggled saw their COW fall by 5% to 40%.
arrow 38.2 overs: ZIM 160/10 ZIM 0% Zimbabwe looked to be setting up
      for a fight before a collapse saw them go from 145/5 to 160 all out in 6 overs as Bangladesh beat them by 93 runs.
