Despite a rapid start DD lost wickets at regular interval and stuttered to 48/3 after 7 with 47% COW before Nagar and Rao stemmed the rot with a partnership. Once Nagar fell Rao and Birt upped the tempo and DD managed to end with 140/6 with 50% COW. Klinger and McCullum made DD’s job harder by coming out with all guns blazing. By the time McCullum was out they were 67/1 after 6 with 58% COW. 2 more wickets fell in 3 overs to give DD some hope as KTK stumbled to 89/3 after 10 with 57% COW. But Patel and Hodge went after the DD bowling to ensure they didn’t have any chance and ended the match in 15 overs. |
