CSK were the favourites by PK ended that in 2 balls as he got Anirudh and Raina out as CSK tottered to 0/2 after 1, their COW down by 5% to 48%. But Vijay scored a blistering fifty and Badrinath a steady one as they put together 124 runs before Vijay fell with CSK at 126/3, their COW up to 55%. MSD came in and hammered the ball for 43 off 20 as CSK ended with 188/4 with 62% COW. KXIP stunned CSK by launching a blitzkrieg right from start as by the time Gilly fell they were 65/1 after6, their COW up by 8% to 46%. Wickets kept falling at the other end but Paul Valthaty played the inning of his lifetime with 120* off 63 balls as KXIP romped home in 19.1 overs with 6 wickets in hand.

  1st Innings (Chennai) - 20 overs Maximum  
arrow 5 overs: Che 27/2 Che 46% Chennai were favorites but that did
      not stop Praveen Kumar from bowling 2 dream deliveries getting Anirudha and Srikkanth out of the 1st 2 balls. Chennai’s chances decreased by 7% during this period.
arrow 10 overs: Che 67/2 Che 48% Having recovered from the double strike,
      Vijay and Badrinath set about putting the Chennai innings back on track. Chennai’s chances increased by 2% during this period.
arrow 15 overs: Che 126/3 Che 55% Having put the innings back on track,
      Vijay and Badrinath went on the attack taking on the Punjab bowling.Chennai’s chances increased by 7% during this period.
arrow 20 overs: Che 188/4 Che 62% The Punjab bowling melted away as
