   Match Scorecard
Man of the Match : S Trivedi Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad (9 April 2011)

DC were the clear favourites and not surprisingly they got off to a flying start with Dhawan and Jaggi flaying the RR bowlers. By the time Dhawan was out DC were 40/1 after 5 with COW of 54%. This triggered a collapse as 5 wickets fell in 9 overs as DC struggled to 77/5 after 13 with COW of 43%. It took some rearguard action by Christian and Teja to take then to 137/8 with COW of 43%. Tight opening spells by Steyn and Ishant kept RR in check as they struggled to reach 31/1 after 6 as their COW tumbled to 52%. But Dravid and surprisingly Botha put together a partnership snuffing out any hopes DC had. By the time Dravid was out for 28, RR were 83/2 after 13 with 54% COW. Botha went on to score a fifty and with Taylor finished the match in 18.5 overs.
