Simon Rae wrote an acclaimed biography of W.G. Grace. His next book was on the dark side of the game.
There are plenty of cricket books which are dedicated to the author's heroes, family, parents etc but not this one:
This book was dedicated to the person or persons unknown who made off with his copy of 'The Art of Cricket', containing a handwritten letter sent by Sir Donald Bradman in response to a schoolboy enquiry about the correct grip for an off-break, c. 1966.
